For fast food coffee shop, this Dunkin' is doing it right. With a broken coffee maker and living out of a suitcase - we needed to make do with coffee chains nearby for our daily caffeine IV, and the pilgrimage to Dunkin' is one we've made a few days in a row now. I'd say the only thing I'm not thrilled about are their breakfast sandwiches - especially their sourdough option. They're all dry! We ate at home and adding some fresh tomato and mayo was a game changer, but without it not worth the purchase. Why 4 stars then? Well, friendly and competent service! We've rolled up to the drive through on a few occasions and I've been filled with dismay, line around the building. But they're pushing orders out the window very quickly, in many instances they had cars pay, get their food, drinks and roll past the window in less than a minute. My kinda drive through. Lattes are tasty, milky, and very inoffensive. I'd prefer a bit more oomph to my espresso, but given Dunkin' is shooting for the common denominator I'd say they're making a real nice acceptable latte. It doesn't look like this place has any reviews since they remodeled, but I visited them and it was really nice and clean inside. I see it often and never stop in but today I gave it a try. The employees were very nice. They also get a lot of business which was a good thing to see. This location was dirty, and the donuts are very dense. The donuts do not appear to have been given the opportunity to rise. I'm from out of town and frequent Dunkin' Donuts. Regular COFFEE with 6 pumps of BLUEBERRY 3 cream and 3 Sugars...thank me later....soooooo yummy!! Pairs perfectly with a confetti cake doughnut . Sometimes I'll opt for 2 creams and 2 sugars...the doughnut is sweet enough. Anyhoo this location is always consistent. Friendly staff, fresh doughnuts and coffee. Sometimes I'll grab an ice cream cone...but everything I've had has been yummy... Mr, please don't get an attitude with me because my frozen coffee was made without the whip cream and drizzle on top, as pictured. Then you asked what was wrong with it. I said it's not what's pictured. It's just frozen coffee. He still looks confused. I pointed to a picture on his menu and he says "that's not up there". Well your other signature frozen drinks are so it looks like that (I'm thinking this, didn't say that because I'm not rude). He makes my drink over and I say thank you and he rolls his eyes slightly. ‍ it's too early in the morning for this. FYI, this location is a combination Dunkin Donuts and Baskin-Robbins. I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and everybody's stressed and on edge, especially essential workers and those who are in the customer service industry. Nevertheless, if I'm quite literally risking my health to patronize your business, the very last thing I expect to receive is rudeness. My best friend and I came by and ordered a matcha latte, a two waffle cones of ice cream. (Unfortunately, nowhere on the drive-thru menu or the payment window is there a menu listing the flavors of ice cream. So how we're supposed to know what the store has to offer is beyond me). My best friend showed the cashier a picture from the Baskin-Robbins website advertising one of their new ice cream flavor combos. The cashier was unfamiliar with it and not able to identify what flavor it was, so we asked her if they had any flavors that had Reese's Pieces in it (which looks like what was in the ice cream we were looking at in the picture.). She said yes, but what she gave us instead was ice cream with Reese's peanut butter cups in it. No big deal. Simple mistake. It happens, and we were totally cool about it. We brought the mistake to her attention and she immediately caught an attitude, saying that she gave us what we asked for. We told her that we asked for the ice cream with Reese's Pieces in itv(like what was featured in the photo), not Reese's peanut butter cups. She told us that they didn't have anything like that, but that "it has Reese's in it, so...." . Again, it was a simple mistake, but her catching an attitude with us when we were trying to be patient and understanding with her was highly unnecessary. So we sit at the window for another minute or two waiting for the matcha latte. She comes back to the window and nastily says, "Why are you still here?" We informed her that we never received the matcha latte. She tells us we never ordered it. We told her that we ordered it right before we asked her for the ice cream with the Reese's Pieces in it. she rolls her eyes and says, "Well, I never charged you for it". Okay, so then charge us for it. Again, it was an oversight... No big deal. But the attitude was so unnecessary. Oh, and the latte was absolutely disgusting. Just a word to the wise; she might want to be very careful with that little attitude of hers. Especially in this neighborhood, and most especially during a time where everyone is on edge. Otherwise, she might have the misfortune of catching the wrong one on the wrong day and end up wearing that same order she messed up. (People are doing that out here. I called ahead to place a large order for 50+ people on Sunday morning. I talked to Maria who helped me talk through how much coffee and donuts would be needed. I pre-ordered and payed with CC over the phone. When I came by at our predesignated time to pick up the donuts and coffee. They were ready to get picked up. The cashier offered to help take stuff to the car. Donuts were a hit some of the batches of coffee were excellent. I appreciate the good work. I love this location. I always come here to get K-Cups for the office and donuts for my guys at work (when they are acting right :P). My nickname there has now become "K-Cup lady" haha. Overall, it is very clean, the customer service is impeccable, service is always speedy, and I never leave without a smile. The employees who work there are keepers and have wonderful personalities! The quality of the food and drinks are always fresh/created correctly every time. This location has a convenient drive thru that is super speedy. I can't believe I am actually writing a review for DD, considering I'm such a Starbucks addict! My friend lives near this DD & since there's not a Starbucks close by, I had to stop in here. I ordered a blueberry iced tea with light ice to go along with my food and when I received it, the drink was very watery. I could barely taste the tea. I asked the cashier at the window could I replace my tea with a new one because it was watery. A different cashier came up to the window (a man) and replaced my tea. Upon driving home, I realized the tea tasted just like syrup. He purposely put too much syrup in my tea because I complained that the first one was watery. The tea was so thick and sweet, that I had to add water to it when I got home and it still didn't help after using 8 ounces of water. If you note my last review (lipstick on lid) then this shouldn't be a surprise - but should be a warning sign. Today I go to get my usual, and since during the morning rush hours they can mess up my order (skim w/ no sugar all too often turns into cream w/ sugar), I take a quick sip prior to leaving the store (or pulling away from the drive thru). This time I didn't taste sugar, but I did taste soap. Just to make sure it wasn't the lid, I took the lid off and took another sip. Soap again. I walked back up to the counter and explained to the manager (possibly owner) that my coffee tasted like soap, and I am not sure where the issue lies, but I would like a different cup of coffee. He looked at me like I was growing a horn out of my forehead. When it was obvious he wasn't getting what I was saying, I repeated it (kindly, but with a little more assertion). His answer? "Well, you got skim milk. Skim is mostly water."..... My rebuttal: "You are correct, Sir. But this tastes like SOAP, not water. Can I get a new coffee please?" Insert snarl from manager/owner. He finally takes my cup and dumps it out. Then he takes his time to get me another. While I was waiting for my new soap-less coffee, I witness the following: An employee was taking cups that were filled with coffee (maybe they were soap returns, or left on the tables, etc), dumping the contents into the sink, rinsing out the cups.....AND THEN PUTTING THE CUPS BACK INTO THE CUP DISPENSER FOR THE NEXT CUSTOMER. Are you F@%king kidding me?????? Who does that? Needless to say, as soon as one of the employees (female) noticed my horrified look, she whispered into the other employees ear to (presumably) stop. He looked at me, stopped what he was doing, and walked away. Just submitted a complaint to the local county health department......Steer clear of this place. So, this Dunkin Donuts probably took a couple of years to open for some odd reason. Right across from the metro, on Central Avenue, the building sat for a long time before they finally opened it up It has a drive thru; making it handy to grab a $2 coffee before you hit the DC line, as you drive to work. The one criticism is that they need to have pictures of the donut choices at the drive thru - instead, it is on their sandwiches. Weirdest location I've ever visited. I walk in the attendant is counting money, doesn't acknowledge me. Several members of the staff look my way, no one asked if I've been helped. The drive thru is always long in the morning so if I feel like it I just go inside. The customer service is pretty good here. I've yet to encounter a rude employee. They keep the restaurant appearance up and the counter is never dirty. Coffee has always been fresh. Food good. I usually don't write reviews for chains, but my 2 experiences in the drive thru in the last 4 days warrant a review! 1) Service at the drive thru is incredibly fast and easy, even when my ordering is not the most coherent. 2) The line went really quickly on a weekday, and the order was completed accurately and efficiently. And with a smile! 3)Well blended iced coffee, and the cream cheese was actually spread, not just slabbed on there in excess, as is my usual experience with bagels ordered out. My mother stopped here yesterday to get us breakfast. She ordered me the same sandwich I always order: a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese on flatbread. Importantly because I DONT EAT PORK OR RED MEAT. As I bit into my sandwich it tasted odd because I've had it at dunkin donuts many times before. After a few bites I asked her to taste it and she confirmed it was pork sausage. The receipt confirmed that she ordered and pay for the correct sandwich but they decided to give us whatever they wanted.
