Like someone else said, this McDonald's was just average. Also, this was not my first choice to grab a quick bite to eat before getting on the highway. Only reason I came here was because the other fast food place I had pulled into was not allowing for indoor seating. What makes this location so average is mostly the location. I have been to a few McDonald's locations where they accompany a gas station. But this one just tried to squeeze so much of a McDonald's into the limited space left by the gas station. The dining area was weirdly set up because of the angles of the building that it felt like you almost had to sit at a table designed for six all by yourself. I used the kiosks to order my food before taking a number and seeing how the process worked here. Several times when I used the kiosk my order has been called out and I grab it from the counter, here however, you will be startled by someone actually delivering your food to you. Nothing special about the food, it is, of course, a McDonald's. I finished my food and wanted to use the facilities before leaving. With this being a shared building you are basically using the gas station's facilities. Meaning you exit McDonald's to use them and then have to come back in to exit the building. read more

I will honestly say this is ONE of the best McDonalds I've ever ver been to. I'm 51 years old and been to 1000's of McDonalds in my lifetime. And this by far was one of the best experiences and food quality I've received. The service was excellent . I recently got out of hospital and I couldn't have salt on anything I ordered. The manager Whitney took my order . She was very professional , courteous and extremely helpful . She made sure ALL my food was fresh and without salt . She actually practically burned her hand just to make sure my fries had no salt . And she made sure ALL MY FOOD was made to order and fresh . Thank you Whitney !!! This McDonald's was just average. Just a ok fast food restaurant. The people working there were friendly enough but not really talkative. The restaurant was clean, but had water leaks all over the dining room. I ordered 2 plain Double Cheeseburgers. They were edible, but dry. I got my food semi fast about 5-7 minutes. Usually when we travel we like to visit locally owned restaurants but when we heard about the political climate and persons being asked to leave their establishments due to their political beliefs we decided to go to McDonalds and actually were glad we did. Since it was morning we ordered from the breakfast menu. My wife ordered the Pancake big breakfast, our 4 year old had a McGriddle and I had a Sausage McMuffin combo and all were great. The lady who took our order even though was very busy taking orders was very polite and got our order perfect. She also gave us cups for ice water. The place was very clean for the amount of business. Yes this was McDonalds and yes we will definitely be returning. read more

Had to be the worse experience I've every had at McDonald's with the drive thru. Worker was very rude when the order had to change toss the bag to us and closed the door. We stopped at this McDonalds on 3/24/22 for dinner during our trip on I-81. It's located inside a convenience store/Exxon gas station but it exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and taste. They were quite busy and short on staff (posted signage), so we ordered our meals on the in-store kiosk. I watched as assistant manager Samantha W. worked non-stop to get orders to many customers in the drive-thru, inside diners, as well as, running orders outside. She moved quickly, yet efficiently to fill orders; it was orchestrated team work! The ice machine was empty during our visit, but Samantha kindly filled my cup with ice. My Big Mac was delicious and fries hot, so I was satisfied. Yes, would eat here again. (Note: I asked Samantha for her name for this review.) read more

I've lived in the area for three years, and - as far as I'm aware - this is the rudest McDonald's in the contiguous United States. The staff frequently ignore their posted hours and close well before closing time. If you're at the drive-thru when this happens, they'll silently shut down the drive-thru in your face after you've pulled up to order. This has happened to me twice. I left what I thought was a polite voicemail for the owner, a Mr. Rock in Lynchburg, at a number posted on the location's drive-thru window. The number had no voicemail recording, and I've received no response after a week. My impression is that this location has slipped through the cracks, is under no oversight from any kind of regional office, and is able to play by its own rules rather than representing the McDonald's brand. Please encourage ordinary human courtesy and take your business elsewhere. read more

I have no idea what these people are talking about. This is the best McDonald's I have ever been to! It was extremely nice and clean. The restrooms were cleaner than any restaurant I've seen. The service was quick and correct the first time. The lady who took our order was quick and nice. I can't name a bad thing! Must have been recently renovated too! I have seen gross before but never on the level of this place. I recently stopped there while visiting Lexington. I was standing at the counter and noticed a worker drop a handful of ketchups on the floor. She reached down with her gloved hands and picked them up touching the dirty floor with her hand. She put the ketchups back in the container with the other ketchups to be served to the customers. Then she did not clean her hands and scooped French fries and put them in containers to be served. Her hand touched the fries man times. When I pointed out to her that her gloves were dirty and she should change them she shrugged her shoulders and ignored me. When I asked to speak to the manager she said" I am the manager". When she thought I was out of ear shot she and the other co workers began mocking me. Gross and dirty this place is. read more

My milkshake was nasty it tasted like I was drinking just straight chocolate syrup I will never go there again and there food is always cold

I visited this McDonald's with my mother and daughter on a weekday. The server was an older woman who didn't seem confident taking orders on the computer and didn't repeat back our order to check for mistakes. After the order she hadn't added a drink to my daughters happy meal, so my mother went back up to fix it and order her a large sweet tea and was met with the manager instead. I went to get napkins and found this man being overly loud and intimidating to my Mother off about how she needs to order in the future like she was incompetent. She cut him off and we returned to our table where he followed and continued to attempt to "mansplain" how he paid for the drink out of his pocket and how she didn't need to "Make mountains out of mole hills". Again she made it abundantly clear in a nice way that he was making our lunch very awkward. He still persisted in talking louder and louder over him and making my child upset so I told him that was enough and we gather up our things and left to eat somewhere else because he would not leave us alone. He made the whole experience worse by going to another table and mouthing off about us to another older gentleman. I don't suggest this restaurant if you want to have a calm dining experience. read more
