This location is hard-working during covid. They're one of TWO places still open 24 hours. PLACES! Food, shopping, anything. You can basically only go here unless you want Longview's Jack in the Box location. It's not even every McDonald's that's open. This is the only one. Even if it takes a while late night, you're just thankful there's SOMETHING! There always has to be SOMETHING! (EVEN TACO BELL'S CLOSING AT MIDNIGHT RIGHT NOW! 8 FOR KELSO!) This location also was very generous with a personal situation I had. I was sitting in my car, and they brought my food out to me. I'll always remember that. They've got pretty good service, and are fast enough. BUT I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH! People need to do mobile orders everywhere. Every drive thru needs to be near Chipotle level. Overall this is an above average McDonald's for the hard work and hours they put in, cheaper prices than AT LEAST Kelso (who's overpriced), and the fact that they still look and feel the way they did 15 years ago. horrible service I got there at 8:45, there lobby closes at nine, and the door was locked. The workers were standing in the lobby and refused to serve us when we went through the drive through on foot. We were starved and most places were closed. So disappointed i've been going here since I was a youngster and I am disgusted by their lack of respect for customers. Horrible experience over $1 drink. McDonald's app matches your location with the nearest store and for some reason put my order in at Vancouver over 33 miles away. When I went in to explain what happened this really unpleasant girl mouthed off to the coworker who asked her and was not understanding or caring regarding the situation. I thanked the nice gentleman who helped me and said "she sounded like a peach" clearly sarcastic as to her horrible attitude. I walk outside to figure out reordering my large sprite as I'm battling a cold and am in the middle of my workday trying to get through it. And the unpleasant girl came out with her manager and said I called her names and that if I didn't leave she was calling the police to remove me. After I ordered and got to the window they canceled the order made me walk back to the front door they wouldn't open earlier and reorder all over again because its a "security thing"... My husband, our two year old son and I were on our way to Cape Disappointment State Park when we decided to stop at McDonalds for dinner. It was about 7:00 p.m. and it wasn't very crowded. Plenty of parking but one of their long semi trucks was blocking an entire row of parking. I don't know what alternatives they would have but thankfully there was still a lot of parking available. There was no line and we were immediately greeted. Hubby and I ordered our meal while our son had a 4 piece chicken McNugget happy meal. The location was clean and the staff were friendly. My husband was getting our son situated at the table and I was filling our drinks when they called our number. I quickly ran over to our table to drop off our drinks when the employee brought our tray to us. I really appreciated her doing that because we had been stuck in traffic for hours and all of us were famished. We were moving as quickly as we could but the fact that she helped us by bringing us our meal and with a smile? It was perfect. Our son loved the apples, milk and fries. He decided to eat his nuggets in our truck over the next 1/2 an hour. As a first time Mom, I really appreciate that there are apples and a beverage option with the happy meal. A lot of folks don't think of McDonald's as being healthy and I'm sure that there are other alternatives but I never hesitate to swoop into McDonalds when I am on a time crunch. They're fast, usually friendly and my son enjoys it. My only constructive feedback is 1) they were running a vacuum while we were eating (I can't say I blame them -- this needs to be done and the restaurant wasn't crowded. There's just something about eating while someone is vacuuming that isn't really appetizing) and 2) the changing table in the women's restroom was in the handicap stall. I'm sure it's an efficient use of space but what if your son is ready to have a blow out and there is a handicapped person who needs the bathroom? How do you triage that type of situation? To accommodate both -- maybe having it in the hallway but then again -- what if you have a stroller -- the handicap stall would allow the room needed. I don't have a perfect answer -- it was just an observation. Thanks McDonalds for helping us end our Friday night on a positive note. I didn't see the name on our receipt as to the employee that helped us but young lady with the spectacles...you're great! read more

Worst service and did not get all my food just cause you work in fast food dont mean you get to treat poeple like trash

Today I went to go get a hot fudge sundae and they told me the ice cream machine was down like always so I asked for a milkshake then they said OK. When I got to the window I asked them "isnt there ice cream in a milkshake they said no we use a packet " I think that is so wrong we pay 5$ for a pactet and some wip cream no that's not right we should pay 5$ for real ice cream . I also bought a smoothie and they fill it up 75% of the way. What a rip off. So I will never be going back to that McDonald's again. read more

I like McDonald's, but what really irritates me is when I open my bag and my order is wrong. It happens quite often actually. You go to order a Mc double with just meat and bun, that would mean that when I get it it should be two buns and two patties nothing else right? Extremely upset with my recent experience. The only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is because the cashier was very nice and the food was hot. I ordered a happy meal for my daughter and on the menu for happy meal drinks, they have apple juice, soda, milk or a Dasani water bottle. I asked for the water bottle. When I got my order and asked where my water bottle was, they told me that they don't come with the happy meals. I know they do, not just because they have it on their menu, but because this is usually what I order for my daughter, although this is not usually the McDonald's I go to. I insisted that's the water bottles do come with the happy meals and I told her it says so on their outdoor menu (I was in the drive-thru). Despite another employee telling her to give me the water bottle, she stood her ground and kept telling me that I would have to pay for it if I wanted it, because they don't give them out with the happy meals. I'm so angry. Sure, it's just a water bottle, but it was something that I paid for and the young, short-haired blond girl was rude. I will not be returning to this McDonald's. There's another one off the corner of Ocean Beach Highway and 38th Ave and the people there are always nice and give you what you paid for. read more

I went into this McDonald's today and was very unimpressed by what seemed to be the manager barking orders around, however...I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the line wasn't long when I came in. I had ordered a plain hamburger with no salt, the hamburger I got had salt on it, so I brought it back up front where an employee named Heather was working and she personally went and talked to the cooks and asked them to make me a new one, which was ready extremely fast and she gave me two chocolate chip cookies because my order was messed up. I did not expect anything from her, but she turned an already bad day into a positive one. And when she told me I should do a review on the store, I knew what I had to say! This is the most friendly McDonald's I have ever been in and will come only to this one from now on!!! read more
