The last few times I've been here, my sentiment towards Nipp's has changed. As everyone else has noted, the prices have gone up, burger patties have gotten smaller, and the quality has gone down. You can tell the community has had enough. The drive through was consistently packed during lunch and dinner, now it's just a few cars. It's a real shame that the new owners weren't able to keep the same standards. I get inflation, but the changes feel more akin to what a corporate fast food place would do. read more

Overhyped for what it is. The line was long and slow. The person at the front got distracted by a mouse IN the drive through lane and wouldn't stop commenting on it. I asked for no onions and they gave me EXTRA onions so they aren't good at editing orders or listening, way way way overhyped and mid at best. Would rather eat at McDonald's tbh. read more

Stumbled on this retro drive through while driving in the area. They have some great lunch specials. Great burgers and fries, but oh the fish! The halibut was melt in your mouth soft on the inside with a flaky crispy coating. I will be back for the fish alone!! The place is small not many tables inside. Nipps is a great fast food place in Longview. We were a party of 3, 2 adults and 1 kid and we stopped here for lunch on our way to the Oregon coast. We got the fish and chips, a mushroom burger, and a side of onion rings. Everything was hot and tasty. We spent $30 for everything we got, including drinks. They were nice and friendly and the food came out fast. I would recommend stopping here instead of one of the fast food chains if you're in the area. read more

I'm a little bit upset I went to fulfill my pregnancy craving of a burger asked for a very simple order a burger with just cheese and ketchup and I received everything under the sun on it, I'm not gona blame the workers as it was still tasty however I wish they would have got it right I don't want to sit and bash on them as well as they were a lot of young teens working as the young lady helping me looked very stressed due to the Karen that interrupted me ordering my food and the fact the drive thru was very busy. Nipps reminds me of my favorite burger spot back home. The burgers are fantastic!! The meat is juicy and the veggies (pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions) are crisp and add texture. The sauce adds a unique flavor and everything is perfectly proportioned and not too messy. The fries are mid. You need a key for the bathroom, which was somewhat dirty and the restaurant was a little small. Other than that, a great experience! I would happily return. read more

I've lived here for several years, and never been to this establishment until today. I don't know what I thought it was but if you haven't been, it's time. We went at 11 and we had the special which was a bacon cheeseburger, fries and choice of a drink or shake. Next time I'll try a shake because the ones I saw coming out looked amazing. The food quality was excellent, the young lady taking orders was extremely nice, It'ssmall in there but comfortable. It did get quite crowded close to noon. I asked for the best place to get a juicy cheeseburger. That recommendation was spot on! I don't know that I actually got a half pound of hamburger but the flavor was SO good. I tried onion rings too and they were pretty standard but the sauce was like if tartar sauce and Thousand Island had a baby. I loved it. I will definitely be back but not often. Two cheeseburgers, an order of onion rings, tax and tip of $40 is not in my routine budget. I keep thinking about a butterscotch milkshake though.... read more

Ever since the new owners took over everything has gone down hill. The milkshakes got really runny. The banner special is all soggy now. Today we waited for 45 minutes in the drive through and when we got to the window they gave us the wrong order because they gave ours away to someone else. Went to Nipps today for a 2 piece halbut dinner. Ordered with non- seasoned fries and a large root beer. Had to repeat order 4 times. When I got to window I received order with seasoned fries and a medium root beer. I paid extra for a large drink. I won't be back. I used to love Nipps, but new owners have destroyed the place. Do they think customers can't tell the difference between cheap and quality food? The fries used to be premium--5" long on average. Now they are short and stubby. Definitely the "budget" variety. The mayo is nasty, and the ketchup is so sour and watery I couldn't even eat it with the fries--which I ended up tossing. Letters are out on their sign--apparently the new owners are too cheap to have that fixed--and prices have gone up 25%in the past three months. There is far better food around to spend money on. Maybe that's why there was only one person in line and one table that had anyone sitting at it at 7 o'clock on a Thursday night. Nipps was once great. But it is gone. I wouldn't be surprised if the place goes belly up in a year or so...people aren't going to pay for that garbage. read more

I was craving halibut and chips again. I have tried other spots in Longview...unsuccessfully. Nipps came through for me. I finally found my "go-to" when that craving hits. Whoodathunk it would happen to be a spot that serves exceptional burgers! Halibut was thick, moist, and lightly flavored. The breading wasn't too thick, so yay! Awesome local drive thru! I've never sat down inside to eat but I'm So happy we have another option in town besides big chain fast food. The burgers and fries are always perfect and fresh. I always order the kids burger because it's the perfect size for someone who doesnt want a huge burger. Still need to try the fish. Don't go at noon or between 5-6 for the drive thru unless you got at least 20-30 minutes to wait!! read more

Dropped in here on a drive up I-5. Seriously great fried chicken sandwich and onion rings, perfectly fried, nice crispy veg, and I took a bit of my husbands Nipp's burger, it was even more delicious, tons of grilled onions and bbq sauce, so yummy, and when it was heated again later, still delicious. People were great, and even had a sign behind the counter to tell people how to be nice and understanding with customers which was lovely. And someone came in asking for soup, apparently they run out eventually because it is so good. Great place! read more

Good Burgers & fries for not a lot of money, I just wish they had more locations in SW Washington

This is one of those classic local burger joints that you can only find in small towns. It's similar to McDonald's but higher quality ingredients, and seems like a family business. The line for the drive through was super long so it seems to be a favorite amongst locals. The burgers were good, the fries were not my favorite, but the shake was delicious and that alone would keep me coming back. The staff was friendly despite being very busy and the restaurant was small but cozy and clean. The prices were really good for a small business. I love supporting local businesses but let's be honest, that usually means paying two to three times more than you would at a big chain. The prices for the meals here were pretty comparable to the big fast food chains though. Next time we are at the beach, we will be stopping here! read more
