Very surprised with portion sizes of fish and chips. We bout two baskets. $$48 total for some fries and two tiny pieces of fish each.

Stumbled on this retro drive through while driving in the area. They have some great lunch specials. Great burgers and fries, but oh the fish! The halibut was melt in your mouth soft on the inside with a flaky crispy coating. I will be back for the fish alone!! The place is small not many tables inside. Be prepared to wait on weekends.

Nipps is a great fast food place in Longview. We were a party of 3, 2 adults and 1 kid and we stopped here for lunch on our way to the Oregon coast. We got the fish and chips, a mushroom burger, and a side of onion rings. Everything was hot and tasty. We spent $30 for everything we got, including drinks. They were nice and friendly and the food came out fast. I would recommend stopping here instead of one of the fast food chains if you're in the area.

I've lived here for several years, and never been to this establishment until today. I don't know what I thought it was but if you haven't been, it's time. We went at 11 and we had the special which was a bacon cheeseburger, fries and choice of a drink or shake. Next time I'll try a shake because the ones I saw coming out looked amazing. The food quality was excellent, the young lady taking orders was extremely nice, It'ssmall in there but comfortable. It did get quite crowded close to noon. I will absolutely go back again I hear the salads are quite good. I owe Aunt Nancy an apology because she's been raving about this place for YEARS and I didn't listen .

    Gross stubby fries.

Chicken tenders were great. Seasoned fries were delicious and crispy. Peanut butter milkshake was to die for.

Extremely good but $30 for two fast food meals is expensive. Was only $25 months ago. Every time I go it's more expensive.

Generally speaking, the food is good and we order a whole lot for our table(s) of 6 including drinks and desserts. The kids meals are a solid value - big portions of chicken strips and fries, and another with a grilled cheese and lots of tater tots. The bougie chicken bacon alfredo mac came on a big ole plate and kid #1 who ordered it, says it is very good. Myself and a friend split a Forester burger -- it comes a side, we chose onion rings, and while the burger is great (caramelized onion and gorgonzola are a fire combination), the onion rings were way overcooked to the point there was almost no onion left in the batter lol (saaaad). Kids # 2 and 3 order happy hour mozzarella sticks, soft pretzels, and panko shrimp. Everything is good according to the children and their limited taste buds. Adults order cocktails which are light on alcohol (sad face) but heavy on delicious flavors! Desserts for 3 kids, everyone says everything is great. Beyond the hollow onion rings, our service was a bit sub-par this time around. Kid #2 spilled his entire drink and while we got some help from the server in the form of bringing more napkins to the table, server girl did nothing about the lake of dr pepper on the floor below it. It was disappointing, not gonna lie. Kids are annoying, I get it, but we had to sit with our shoes in this mess. It dried enough in some spots that our shoes were literally sticking to the ground. Server girl also forgot to put the order in for the panko shrimp sooo kid #2 thought he was being punished because he got his shrimp after everyone else practically finished their meals lol. Our tab was close to 200 bucks. I cringe super hard at the thought of paying half that bill, and tipping fairly, if only because my shoe almost came off my foot when I finally stood up to leave. Dr Pepper almost got me.

I ordered the Beaver Dam with cheddar and mozzarella for pickup. When I stopped in to grab it I got a chance to look around and this place has a fun, neighborhood vibe with a bar, seating and games like pool and darts that make it seem like a good hangout spot. The food was excellent. No frills, just tasty. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese was gooey and satisfying, and every bite hit the spot. After so many disappointing meals on the road, I was refreshed to have something so simple that was so well executed. It was exactly what I wanted. I found myself slowing down just so that I could savor every bite and by the time I finished I was seriously considering going back for another sandwich. If that doesn't tell you how good it was. It was a Saturday evening about 6:00 pm so we knew we might get caught in a crowd and were prepared to wait. I was impressed with our server and the different menu options she shared with us. We each ordered a simple cup of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. (see pics) The vibe was great with darts, shuffleboard and a DJ setting up for karaoke night. How fun! Here's where it went downhill. We waited over 20 minutes to get our food, we never were asked if we needed anything else or if our food was good ( or correct) and our water and ice tea glasses were never refilled. Now I realize that our very nice server was busy, but she passed our table SEVERAL times without saying a word. As for our food, my chicken noodle soup had way too much pepper in it and my husband's tomato bisque was too spicy. (& he likes it spicy!!). Also, I ordered cheddar cheese not swiss cheese for my grilled cheese sandwich. I eventually decided to eat it since I was hungry and knew that I'd have to wait even longer if I returned it. This is our second visit here and sadly the service wait time then (about 6 months ago) was also "forgettable" All and all, if you are going to hang out and party with your friends, I would say GO! But if you want to go and get a meal, be prepared to be patient and allow A LOT of time.
