[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing experience! Food, service, and atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We decided to try out Porky's simply because we noticed there were a lot of cars out front and it looked very welcoming. Our food was yummy with huge servings (see pics). Even though it was incredibly busy for a Friday night, we were seated immediately, our server was the best! Very welcoming and seemed to really like her job! Our food came out within 10 minutes! I thought they accidentally delivered someone else's food it came out so fast! Apparently, they have what's called an Expediter. They make sure the kitchen staff and wait staff are working together. IT WORKS WELL!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also like the atmosphere. Very open and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place to watch games on tv too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh! And they have outdoor covered seating where you can bring your dogs!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oh yes! We will be back.

Still a great place. Never any complaints about Porkys. Highly recommend. One of our favorite places. Staff is always great.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This spot is a quirky and eclectic little bar and restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is plenty of menu options, the staff was nice, and it appeared to be a popular dining option. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The exterior isn't especially inviting, but the interior has a fun vibe with typical bar decor, real flowers in water on the table, a merchandise section, sports and music videos on the tv, and Grateful Dead and Snowboard decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted by a friendly man in a Hawaiian shirt of sat us and gave us a run down on the menu and their specials. Our server was very friendly as well. The food and beverage menus have a variety of options to choose from. The food is mostly typical bar/sports bar food, but with more and arguably better sounding options. For some reason the California Avocado Club and the Philly Cheesesteak had stars by them, and we were told these were favorites. Oddly enough, towards the bottom of the menu there was another section that said favorites, and in another section an item said "this is a crowd favorite." So, everything might be a favorite. Also, on the table advertisements Porkys had dozens of "best" accolades that included "best vegan/vegetarian," and "best place to have a kids birthday party," which is a kind of wild since it is a bar. The food was fine. It took an incredibly long time to get our order, and a couple items were incorrect when they arrived. No one was wowed by anything they ordered, but it was fine. Some tips: Don't order Cajun-style tater tots as a side. These were by far the saltiest tater tots I have ever had. Cheers!!

It was a Saturday evening about 6:00 pm so we knew we might get caught in a crowd and were prepared to wait. I was impressed with our server and the different menu options she shared with us. We each ordered a simple cup of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. (see pics) The vibe was great with darts, shuffleboard and a DJ setting up for karaoke night. How fun! Here's where it went downhill. We waited over 20 minutes to get our food, we never were asked if we needed anything else or if our food was good ( or correct) and our water and ice tea glasses were never refilled. Now I realize that our very nice server was busy, but she passed our table SEVERAL times without saying a word. As for our food, my chicken noodle soup had way too much pepper in it and my husband's tomato bisque was too spicy. (& he likes it spicy!!). Also, I ordered cheddar cheese not swiss cheese for my grilled cheese sandwich. I eventually decided to eat it since I was hungry and knew that I'd have to wait even longer if I returned it. This is our second visit here and sadly the service wait time then (about 6 months ago) was also "forgettable" All and all, if you are going to hang out and party with your friends, I would say GO! But if you want to go and get a meal, be prepared to be patient and allow A LOT of time.

You can absolutely smell the fish and vinegar as soon as you walk through the door, which I think gives the place a very homey pub feel. I ordered a spiked peach Arnold Palmer, which I enjoyed (and it was pleasantly strong) and a glass of the house white, which was good for the price. Our server was very fast and attentive. To eat I got the tomato soup with a grilled cheese, which was absolutely fantastic. The soup was so creamy and flavorful, and I cannot imagine a better meal after spending all day walking outside in the rain. The fries were super crispy and I liked the batter. My partner and I shared some of their breadsticks, which were deliciously baked (fresh!) and came with a super refreshing basil crema and a nice tomato-y dip. Wonderful all. My partner ordered fish and chips, and was surprised to find that it is one large fillet of fish, not multiple pieces like you would typically expect. He said the fish was fine, but a little tough. Overall, a wonderful experience. I definitely hope to return. I highly recommend this place as a refuge during the cold winter months!

We were seated within just a couple of minutes, which made for a great first impression. One thing I noticed right away was that the dining room seemed to be operating with a limited staff. I only saw two servers working, so it took a little while before someone came to greet us, bring water, and take our drink order. Throughout the meal, we also had to flag down our server a few times for water refills. Despite that, once we placed our food order, everything came out fairly quickly. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including fish and chips, sushi, steak, salads, and dessert, so we were able to sample several different menu items. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals. My fish was a little dry, and the fries were thinner than I prefer and had cooled off by the time they reached the table. I also noticed the tartar sauce was different from what I'm used to--it tasted more like ranch dressing with a hint of horseradish. They also didn't offer cocktail sauce, which is something I personally enjoy with fish and chips. Those are personal preferences, but they're worth mentioning for anyone considering that dish. On the positive side, the sushi, steak, and salads received good reviews from everyone at the table, and the desserts were an excellent way to finish the meal. The restaurant itself had a pleasant atmosphere, and despite the limited staff, everyone was friendly and doing their best to keep up with the dinner rush. Overall, we had a good experience. While there were a few things that could have been better, nothing was bad enough to ruin the evening. If I find myself back in the area, I would probably try another restaurant simply because there are so many options nearby. However, if I did return here, I would likely order something different from the menu. Based on what the rest of my family enjoyed, I think some of the other dishes may be a better choice.

Pros: Chill lounge/sitting area at the front corner with sofas, a low bar (accessibility friendly) and board games. Big tables to accommodate groups and various bar seating. Large brewery menu screens with large range and the food looked good. Tbh we came for brews so can't comment on food. The Wildman Beer brand was so-so. Some better than others! Cons: FOH staff interaction. Why we love pubs/breweries is because of the chill, friendly, conversational flow of FOH; their knowledge of the beers and/or cocktails, their passion for sharing it with new customers so they come back again and again ... this vibe fell short at Wildman. TL;DR Good for a basic group of people looking for a brewery experience in town with room for large groups. Not for those who are expecting an awesome brewery experience -- a la PDX, DEN, PHX, ATX or SEA.

But when I saw that they opened up a location in Olympia and Steve and I were going to Olympia for a show it made perfect sense to go to this new location. Downtown where our show was is super walkable and this brewery is right there. When we went in what escaped my attention at the Raymond location was that I was particularly impressed with their own mead selection. And the mead did not disappoint in the slightest. The first mead I had was their Oak Aged Classic Mead. Such fantastic balance in body and the oak flavor was truly impressive! I got another mead from the list, the Sneaky Bastard Meer. It's called meer I believe due to the five different kinds of hops they put into it. Great floral and honey flavored highlights! Our experience here was excellent! Steve enjoyed his drink selections as well! Definitely returning for more mead enjoyment!

Menu selections were many --- burgers, fish & chips, tacos, hummus. Love the healthy options. It was lunch hour and they were busy. It wasn't too loud in there so we could hear each other and have fun talking while waiting for our food. Restaurant is small and kitchen smaller but they seemed like the staff was managing fine. I would like to comment on the visibility of this location. Since it's tucked away and a spa is in the front I didn't see it and had to turn around. Consider additional flags to add to where you're at because GPS tells us it's right there and it's not RIGHT there. I decided on fish tacos and I couldn't taste the fish. It felt like I was eating cole slaw in a soggy crispy taco shell. Consider deleting this item or improving how you make fish tacos. Too much greens and mayo where you can't taste the fish.
