To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a highly unprofessional and unacceptable experience I had at your McDonald's location. I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and addressed by management and, if necessary, escalated to corporate oversight. On [06/09/2025], I visited your drive-thru. I was behind another vehicle and waited several minutes at the ordering speaker without any communication or greeting. After three full minutes of silence, I asked aloud if the location was open. I received no response. I proceeded forward to the second window, where there was also no employee present. When I reached the third window, I was shouted at by an employee who claimed someone was at the ordering speaker. They proceeded to refuse to serve me, even though I was attempting to purchase a simple coffee. When I asked to speak to a manager, the situation escalated rather than improved. The manager on duty was dismissive, confrontational, and completely unwilling to acknowledge the breakdown in communication or take basic accountability. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager instigated further hostility and excused the behavior of the staff. To make matters worse, a drive-thru employee named Miguel--who I've had issues with before--mocked me and laughed at me during this visit. This is not the first time he has behaved unprofessionally. In a previous incident, Miguel served me scalding hot coffee without a lid, which resulted in me getting burned. I reported that incident, and I believe he now targets me because of that prior complaint. I am deeply concerned that your staff: * Refused service without cause. * Failed to communicate properly at the ordering station. * Reacted with aggression when questioned. * Allowed personal bias and retaliation from a previous incident to impact current service. * Showed a lack of basic professionalism and critical thinking required for customer service. This is unacceptable for any business, let alone one operating under the McDonald's brand. I request: 1. A formal apology. 2. A review of staff training, especially regarding customer interaction and drive-thru procedures. 3. Reassignment or disciplinary action for employees who engage in retaliatory behavior. 4. This was my second time... well you can say it's my first time trying this McDonald's. Because when I came to this McDonald's last Sunday morning... they said they were out of everything except orange juice for beverages. So I left. This time I actually gave it a try. I really needed a coffee to keep me going for a rather long day. The long line of cars wrapped around the street. I was close to leaving again, but I was desperate! I was in the line for about 5-10m until I decided to just order online and walk in because I noticed people were coming in and out much faster that way. I went inside. Hmm. I should mention a sign stood out to me. The sign on the front door said "No nudity allowed..." that certainly did not make me feel comfortable whatsoever. What would I expect? I don't know. Just had to hope for the best. The dining room was closed. And like I mentioned, people were walking in and out with food. This review should have been done on the last week of September. I've been to this location plenty of times. Service has always been awesome. Now that I yelp I wanted to personally thank Raphael for being so polite. Honestly I wasn't in good spirits when I got there but I was so impressed by the way Raphael spoke with me. He didn't sound annoyed like other team members that work the drive thru at other locations. He was very patient and professional. When I got to the pick up Alma is another who made my day. She had a warm bright smile and was very polite when getting my food ready. This location is one of my favorites but I just had to spell out why. read more

This review is for the mcdonalds on 505 w florence ave, 90044. It is my hope that the higher ups take action straighten this mcdonalds out. I have never had a problem until I met this mcdonalds. I have had nothing but HORRIBLE experiences at this mcdonalds. I drive for Uber so I visit mcdonalds on the daily. All the other Mcdonalds are up to standard and I would rate 5 stars, except this particular one. I have yet to actually receive my order correctly (3 times this has happened, have my coupons not work there (they work at ANY other mcdonalds), be overcharged for them screwing up my order and offering things I dont want, and the manager doing NOTHING about it. The times I go was when I was coming off work to spend time with my daughter, getting her a little something (in addition to myself) from there. I want a simple smooth experience, and this particular McDonalds is the only one who continually screws this up...CONTINUALLY! This is on top of their 1/2 hour lines. Breakfast time Wanted a quick breakfast I could eat in the car while battling traffic on the 110. Stopped by McDonalds to get my fatty breakfast fix. So... Decided to have the infamous big breakfast and the drive thru is closed, the man cleaning tells me to go inside. There's people inside, employees sitting in the seats and a few people but no one bothers to open the door, not to be courteous, not to explain. Apparently, the system is down. They have their own weird ass rules and love telling you that they're not corporate; so I guess that makes it ok not to carry things you would expect from any restaurant. While visiting this particular McDonald's and placing my order, I specifically indicated no cheese. Well to my dismay the sandwiches had cheese on them. Upon making contact with staff at this location I spoke to a staff member who identified herself as Cerla. Please note that she was very dismissive to my concern as to the sandwiches not being made as specified and spoke in a rather defensive tone and stood firm on the need for me to return by tomorrow; I shared with her that this particular area is not an area in which I frequent regular as I could return by the weekend. Cerla indicated that there was nothing that she could do and continued to be rather defensive. I inquired as to whether I could get my money back and said no. Upon inquiring as to whether I could speak with someone else she began to indicate she could not hear me but then said she was the only person that could be of assistance. While I frequent McDonald's on a daily basis, not this particular but in my experiences they have been nothing short of professional and maintaining a smile on my face. The customer service in which Cerla provided was very disappointing and it questions the continuity of customer service it we she provided on a daily basis. Cerla referred me to call a toll free number with my concerns, upon me asking her to repeat the number she yells out OH MY GOD. Please note that this particular McDonald's is higher than others as a hashbrown is $2.09 while in the surrounding area it averages $1.69. The senior coffee is $1.25 compared to others ranging between.75¢ and .89¢. It saddens me to see that the service within the inner city is poor and appears to be the norm, this is not okay. read more

Victor this one is for you. Today I had a unpleasant experience with what seemed like the supervisor of this McDonald's. His name is victor. I just got off work 16 hour shift and I didn't feel like cooking. So I did what anybody else would you go through drive-through. McDonald's happened to be open there was no line so that was a plus. I ordered my food paid and left. When I get home to my surprise there was one item missing from my order. Not a big deal but still annoying. So I call the McDonald's complain that there's an item missing instead of I'm sorry let us make it up to you if you'd like to come we can give you the item in our apologies I was met with so what do you want me to do about it kind of attitude. I damn near reach through the phone to grab his throat. Victor told me to come through the drive-through and he will give me the item. When I got to the drive-through there was 10 cars in front of me there was no way that I was in a wait in the drive-through for 10 cars so that I can pick up a burger that I paid for already and passed through the drive-through already so I call. I ask do I really have to wait in the drive-through when you guys could just give me the burger I can walk up to the window or come to the front. Victor told me the front is now closed for walking I said that's fine I can go through the window. Victor said unfortunately we don't do walk by through the window. I said I already paid for the meal I just want it. He said I would have to wait in the drive-through so I did. 10 cars later he hands me the burger and said are you the guy that called about the burger I said yes. Who are you girl hands me the burger in a bag and expect me to drive away. I ask him why I had to wait in the drive-through when I could've just walked up and grabbed it he said that we don't take walk-ins at this moment but it's closed and that we don't allow people walking up to the drive way to pick up food I asked for his name of course he said he's name is Victor he asked for mine I gave it to him when I tried to ask him something else he walked away completely I understand that you have a job to do but at the very least all I wanted was an apology it seemed like he was too proud of a man or two part of a boy to say anything at all instead like a coward he walked away from responsibility and accountability. When I pulled away I saw that there was still people inside eating I was dumbfounded that is when the rage built up inside me I am a very big guy not fat although I do have some chub I could've very easily intimidated this man or boy but chose not to because I'd rather go home and enjoy my meal sit watch TV and relax from a long day. My experience with McDonald's today was horrible, the staff are very ignorant almost clueless. My experience ordering was really bad, they tried taking my order for literally 10 minuets. When I went to pay they still didn't have my order right. When I drove up to the second window that was being helped by three attendees it literally took three attendees and they still didn't get my order right. They tried to keep my money. This McDonald's is lucky that they even received one single star from me, it should be more like a NEGATIVE 5 stars if not more I ordered extra pickles on the four different burgers and they charged $1 per burger extra and only three pickles were in the darn burgers then on two McChickens I asked for them to add pickles and Mac sauce and that was also $1 per McChicken on the pickles and also $1 per McChicken per Mac sauce. Another problem is they should have let you know from the beginning while you are ordering your meal of the extra charges. Only McDonald's that has made this extra charges to me other McDonald's have not charged for extra pickles, maybe there is more out there I don't know yet. But it is only a few blocks from my house yet I'll go to a different one for whenever I go to a McDonald's.
