Also, in my opinion, when supervisors and employees visit with and treat their customers with kindness, politeness, and are helpful and with respect that creates a friendly atmosphere, they should be commended. In addition, for the many times that I have dined at that McDonalds near The Home Depot here in Los Lunas, NM over the years since their first opening on August 19, 2019, the supervisors and the employees have always treated their customers and me with kindness and respect, and when they did that, I felt welcomed and appreciated. When we go to McDonalds we aren't looking for high quality food, we just want something decent and fast on our way home. This place is super slow. They are also lacking on training. This is the worst McDonalds in our area. I'll drive the extra distance to go to the one by Home Depot. This location is always unprepared. It takes forever just for a drink. My husband went there in the morning for coffee and water and they wouldn't serve him because he wasn't in a car even though he explained to them he was driving a semi and parked it off the road. I was very disappointed in this location. Of all the staff only one spoke any amount of English. All four order kiosks only one was working, and there was no one behind the counter to take orders, specifically for specials or substitutions. The slowest morning Drive thru in the morning .... for the last two years its freaking ridiculous. This McDonalds sucks and the manager won't do anything about it. Nothing but Spanish is spoken behind the counter and the last time I remembered we were in the US where the standard language is English. You walk up to the counter to order and they stand 3 steps away from the register and look at you while they continue their personal conversation with another employee before helping you. I would give this McDonald's location a 0 star. The service is horrible! We placed our order. Waited while 5 other people behind me received their food. A customer came in and said her order was wrong. I swear they have her a hamburger from our order. It pushed ours back. I read the bad reviews about this restaurant but we decided to stop anyway. It was a pleasant experience for us. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the bathrooms were clean. Many of the staff spoke Spanish but that is not unusual given that New Mexico is a state where Spanish is the first language for many people. There is always someone who speaks English. The restrooms are locked but I have seen that in other fast food restaurants as well. I think it is more for their safety and the safety of the patrons given the influx of homelessness and drug addiction. The only drawback is that it is about five minutes off the highway which is a little further than we would like. read more
