I was stopped here during the Holidays to get a Biscochito shake. I was disappointed that two other times they had NO shakes 30 minutes prior to closing. I wished they would sell ALL menu items during business hours. Anyhow, the Biscochito shake was just alright. I didn't care for the texture of it. It seems that they just blended up cookies into a vanilla shake. ??? I would've rather had them just used the traditional flavorings that are in a Biscochito. I waited in the drive thru line (with only two cars in front of me) for 30 minutes. When I got to the window they had "lost" my order. They retook it and I waited 10 more minutes to get food. When it came time to pay the guy told me a different price than the original price he quoted. Then he said he made a mistake and quoted me a higher price than he quoted me originally. So he gave me three different prices, I waited for 40 minutes in the drive thru line, and they lost my order. They need to get it together. read more

On March 12, 2024 there were three teenagers working the location. They were, I hope, doing their best but failing miserably. While I was waiting for my order two men came in and waited a good five minutes for someone to come to the counter and take their order. Not once did the boy making the burgers or the one doing the fries acknowledge the two men and they finally left. I have to admit I had the worst tasting burger and fries that I have ever received at a Lotaburger. I'm very disappointed and I think I will skip Lotaburger for a while. I asked what does that have to do with replacing the burgers? Why do you need to know that? I then told him to put the store manager on the phone. He put me on hold and my call was routed back through the phone bank, again and again. GRR! After paying almost $40 dollars for 3 bad burgers. This particular establishment is extremely clean, and if it resided in L.A., I'm pretty sure it would sport an "A" outside it's fancy, gleaming windows. I don't know how anyone could rate Blakes Lotta Burger a 5 their burgers are smaller and don't taste the same I will not give them a third try. I am done with them. Also the service is horrible! Another classic NM Institution. I was down in Alb for a quick weekend and happened to stay down at my buddy's family house down in Bosque Farms. Since i was only in town for a 2 days, I had to get as much New Mexican food that i could get my hands on. Blakes was definitely on my list. Now, this is no ordinary Blakes. A normal Blakes would get 4 stars, but this Blakes gets five and I will tell you why. The green chili is much hotter, thus making a burger there amazing. I solely come here for the breakfast burrito I get the #1 which is with bacon, I always get green and red Chile AKA X-Mas for you non- New Mexican natives. Although they typically are pretty fast if you use the drive-Thur, you may consider calling in your order if your pressed for time as this place is usually busy in the mornings, due to everyone trying to get their daily lota burrito fix!! This place does not know how to do pick up orders, and it's like this every time. They mess up the orders and gave us the wrong thing. Or they don't give us certain things at all. I found a chunk of plastic probably from the red chili bag in one of my breakfast burritos from here.
