This location has never gotten my order right. It's always a basic order. Today I placed an order for gravy and biscuits and a sausage biscuit. I get to the window and am told I ordered a gravy and biscuit with an extra biscuit. No, that's not what I ordered and when at the speaker I couldn't confirm the order and was told to pull ahead. I was charged for a biscuit which is more expensive than a sausage biscuit. The girl at the window takes my order back and then comes back and says they can't do anything. Then the guy at the window standing behind her is trying to give me a coke. I said, I didn't order a coke and ended up driving off. This isn't rocket science people!! It's just annoying that you can't get it right and do nothing to make it right!!! read more

Extremely Disappointing and Discriminatory Experience I had one of the worst experiences at this McDonald's. I was standing at the counter waiting to be served -- the employee looked right at me and still chose to ignore me. I waited patiently, thinking maybe she was busy or hadn't noticed me clearly. Then, as soon as a white man walked up behind me, the same employee greeted him with a smile, took his order right away, and acted as if I wasn't even there. I felt completely disrespected and humiliated. No one should ever be treated differently because of the color of their skin. It's 2025 -- this kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, especially at a major company like McDonald's that claims to value equality and inclusion. Workers here are extremely rude. I come here for lunch, and when asked to pull up to the next window, they hand you the order and immediately shut the window. This happens a lot. This time, they didn't put any napkins in my bag, and off coarse, no one came back to that window even though I was blowing and waving my hand for someone to see me. This time, I drove back around to get my napkins and asked for a manager. Barbara, the manager, said that it does happen a lot and that she will speak with them. It's hard to mess up a happy meal. My 2yo is on a kick and this store did good in a few different ways. First off, the nice kid in the speaker let me know I could just order a cheeseburger happy meal (didn't have to order a hamburger and ask them to order cheese), so that was nice. Like I said, it's a kick and I'm not great at the menu. Also, they gave me two different toys in my two happy meals. You would not believe how rare this is, but it was nice to not have twin toys for once! Unfortunately, even though we asked for ketchup, it was left out. also no napkins. Charges you for extra pickles then gives you none. Happens to me way too often at this location to not say anything. If i wasn't charged $0.10 for 1 extra pickle slice I wouldn't be as annoyed about not getting any. But if your owner is going out of the way to charge me extra for a pickle when I already remove the onions that's unacceptable. read more

I was in line in drive thru and I accidentally passed up the window I guess I was supposed to stop at. The kid (Brandon) starts yelling out the window telling me to back up. I currently have 90,631 points, I've visited McDonalds stores from UofL's campus, to the new one in Fern creek on bardstown road, and even the one on Dixie and this McDonald's takes the cake. Oshanda the manager was taking my order a 10pc nugget meal, m&m McFlurry, apple pie & a filet o fish meal. She asked what size for the filet o fish meal I told her whatever comes with the $8.78 meal. There was only one option listed for the meal and it did not state if it was medium or large. She said she didn't know what size that was and the menu did not say neither. I told her if she did not know there was no way for me to know considering I do not work there. She gets rude with me ignores me waits on the other lane. Two cars had passed me up in the other lane when it was my turn so I pulled up to the window she asked can I help you told her what happen and she said I will get you the other manager Estaban he wanted to argue that the menu listed both medium and large prices for the filet o fish meal which was untrue. I also asked for extra cheese which I did not receive and they gave me half of a cup of ice cream for the McFlurry. All the food was old and dry and I had to throw it away I was in the line for 30 minutes they made me late for work and was unable to return it. Most staff do not speak English and Estaban was also rude until he found I had been recording the entire conversation then it went to yes mam no mam how ironic. read more

Pretty much the worst... not sure who's running this place. It is in the middle of an office park and cannot keep up with the flow of people in. They get your order wrong 9 times out of 10, or you wait so long they pretty much blow your lunch break. Everybody that works there from the person on the grill up to the manager needs to decide if this is what they want to do ... If not please hire some people that actually want to work. This is a good location. Sometimes they are short-handed (and who isn't these days) which results in inconsistent wait times and sometimes only the drive-thru being open. But I just try to go during non-peak times. Everyone is having similar staffing issues right now so it hardly feels fair to be overly-critical on this point. I believe they are doing a good job under the circumstances. This is also a general review of some products available at all McDonald's locations. The food has always been consistently good here in my experience. I love getting a McGriddle and their new sugar-free vanilla late iced coffee which is very good and at only two dollars for a large, it is an incredible bargain compared to what you pay for practically the same thing at those 'other' fancy coffee shops. I've tried the new 'crispy' chicken sandwiches and they are fine but they are rather bland (even the 'spicy' version) and they are definitely not 'crispy' so I'm not sure why they would say that. Anyway, I much prefer Chick-fil-A or KFC chicken sandwiches. I thought McDonald's already had a great chicken sandwich in the 'Artisan' grilled chicken sandwich. But inexplicably, they did away with it which is a shame because it was also one of the healthier items on the menu (without it necessarily *tasting* healthy). Wish they still had that. It had a much better flavor. They had other 'types' of chicken sandwiches at one point as well which I thought were all better than these new chicken sandwiches. Anyway, I think the best item is (and always has been) the iconic Quarter-Pounder w/Cheese. It is still the meatiest and most flavorful of their items. And now you can also add lettuce and tomato if you like. The menu has also been greatly simplified. I thought and had been saying for years that their menu had gotten too broad and confusing. So much so, they couldn't put everything on the electronic menu boards at the same time, causing items to appear and disappear like squares on a Rubik's Cube, not quite sure when (or if) you'd ever see them again. And many great items (like the plain ol' legendary hamburger) can't even be found on the menu but they will make it for you if you ask. They don't even advertise their dollar menu anymore (though it is there). Still, I do not like how the menu keeps changing and morphing when I'm trying to read it. It's not as bad as it was at its worst, but it is still annoying. Just provide a static menu with clear pricing on great items. If you can't fit all the items you sell within that big area over and behind the order-counter, you probably have too many items in the first place. One of the greatest moves McDonald's ever made in my opinion was to introduce the any-size Coke for only $1. This was several years ago (maybe 15 or more?) and I figured it was just a temporary promotional thing but they have kept it going to this day. $1 large Cokes are a great thing and much appreciated given that over-priced drinks are where most restaurants kill you (they know you are going to buy a drink with your meal so why not gouge you on it?). Kudos to McDonald's for taking the opposite tack. I go to McDonald's partly because I know that, no matter what I order, I'm not going to get screwed on a simple beverage. Sometimes I drive through and get just a large Coke with some of the change that keeps multiplying in my console. No better deal anywhere and it makes for a nice inexpensive treat when you are out and about. read more

They are always busy because they are located in a business district, so considering that, they are very well mannered and well tempered. McDonald's is an American staple, if you eat enough of it you won't need any added chemicals to preserve your body but you'll also need one of those XXXL coffins. I would say that this place has some of the best service at a McDonald's I have ever been to. When they mess something up, they're quick & happy to fix it, the quality of food is the same as every other one across America and they're (usually) very quick to get your food in the thru as well as when you dine-in. This place is literally walking distance from my job and when I forget my lunch I normally grab some chicken nuggets or a salad so that I don't feel too bad about what I'm shoveling into my mouth. Like I said it's one of the better McDonald's I've been to and the food, generally tastes fresh and not stale, they have free WiFi for my phone watching pleasure and the employees aren't grumpy when you're eating inside. I'm sad that it's not a Taco Bell I can walk to, but satisfied it's quick, efficient and they're open weird enough hours so I don't have to drive when I forget to grab my lunch out of the fridge. read more

Which I got with some of the friendliest service from a fast food. The cashier was even nice when I asked him to break my $20 into smaller bills. The main reason I wanted to write this review is to advise people that this Mcdonalds recently had a hacker take credit card information. So if you go PAY CASH!! The staff here is incredibly horrible. They have mistreated me in more ways than I can count. The management is no better and they have treated me with discrimination continuously. I am singled out and lied to about products, overcharged and receive cold, nasty food regularly. I have tried complaining to the owner, but they have done nothing to rectify the issue.
