The food really hit the spot: I loved the Nashville hot chicken strips, and my daughter was very happy with her burger. The ambiance was clean, comfortable, and inviting, which made it a nice place to relax and enjoy our meal. We also tried the big cheese sticks, and they were awesome--definitely a highlight. A group of 8 family members came to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had no issue getting a table on a Monday evening and our server was amazing. Every order was accurate and he handled several drink refills. Chili's has a regular special during lunch or dinner. It comes with a drink, starter, and entree. Starters include a soup, salad, or chips and salsa. Entrees cover burgers, quesadillas, and chicken options. My Oldtimer with cheese was a huge burger! I brought half of it home for tomorrow's lunch. The side of fries was nicely crisped. The house salad looked small but was fairly filling. The chips and salsa is also impressive and plenty to share if you opt to. Loved the design of the restaurant. Lots of seating and great windows for natural light. While a chain, I have been sleeping on this restaurant. I have never had a bad or unenjoyable experience at this location. All of the staff that I have interacted with are polite and hospitable. The menu choices seem to be endless. The quality of the menu items is high. I have not tried all of the items, but the burgers are killer and the ribs are something to come back for. I noticed that the mac and cheese is better the next day after chilling in the refer overnight. The only issue I have with restaurant is that it is located next-door to a Gustavo's, which is one of my go to places. read more

The restaurant is always clean. Parking is usually not a problem. The ribs are usually a safe bet. Our server was above par. Some of us had soup and salad. My daughter rated both a 1, I gave it a two. The soup to me was fine. But I likes fully loaded baked potato, this was like mashed potato's Both did not arrive hot but like warm. I should've learned the first time I ordered delivery from Chili's and barely got any food in the Fresh Mex Bowl. I remember getting salads in the restaurant and they were pretty big so I decided to order the Santa Fe Salad and there was barely anything to it, not even all of the ingredients it was supposed to have. Definitely not worth the money! Idk if they only skimp on delivery orders or what because every time I've ate in the restaurant I always got plenty of food in my order. The experience and the food is excellent. Susan and Kelsey is my usual waitresses and both are so sweet and always remembers me.

My order was via Uber Eats which was not a problem. The food was not a good quality. I ordered potato soup with an add on of chicken strips with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The potato soup was watery and did not have the ordered toppings. I received fries instead of mashed potatoes and the chicken strips missed the mark. I was forced to throw them out. It's about time to update this review, since this location has improved about 100% since my last review. This Chili's location is on our Sunday lunch rotation. Since we generally arrive within 20 minutes of opening we never have a wait. We also like to sit in the bar, so the wait is even less of a wait. A large part of the reason we sit in the bar is because of Kelsey. She's been there every Sunday we've visited for probably close to two years, and she is AWESOME. She always greets us with a smile, know what we like to drink, and brings us an order of Chips and Salsa right off the bat. After a major upgrade a couple years ago the restaurant has a very nice, welcoming feel. To be honest, before this recent renovation I was completely unaware that there were tables behind the bar. #WhoKnew? I tend to rotate through 2 or 3 menu items (the Classic Nachos, the Chipotle Bowl, or the Ranchero Chicken Soft Tacos --no...wait...they discontinued those for some asinine reason). Ok, so I rotate between two things. My sole complaint any more is that the music played in the bar (and, perhaps, throughout the restaurant) is often Too Freakin' Loud. I like the music, but I also like to be able to talk to my server and to my wife. We've mentioned it to a couple servers and to another patron or two and they don't disagree. During Covid I wondered how this Chili's would fare. At times they were open, other times not, of just the bar would be open, or open with limited staff. I was genuinely concerned for the staying power of this location because, even to us, it looked like it was one the precipice of disaster a number of times. I'm in town to do photography for a track meet. We stopped here for dinner. It was at least 20 of us. We were seated very quickly and the waiters came around and took all of our orders quickly also. With it being 20 of us, I expected a long wait time but it wasn't. We got our food extremely quick and the food was VERY hot and fresh. I tried the triple dipper and it was SO GOOD. 10/10 recommend. Appetizer came out first (you'd be surprised how many restaurants get this wrong) and then after ample time to eat our appetizer the food arrives. Perfectly timed! Absolutely horrible. Ordered a Medium steak, not only was it burnt, but the burnt char was as thick as my finger. The inside was WHITE. I thought it was some sick joke. I chewed it like bubblegum then spit the black char out. It was disgusting. I ordered online and picked it up myself in store, where one to-go person was on the phone for 10 minutes while 10 other workers just walk past all the people & doordashers waiting for their to-go's. I personally really enjoyed our evening at chilis. Our waitress was the sweetest human and provided amazing service. We did the 2 for $25 which is a for real steal we started off with the fried pickles, and they were incredibly. Fried just right, not overly sour, the sauce was good. Then we both got the chicken fajitas but the chicken crispers looked great too. I'll for sure get those next time. The fajitas have a ton of food for one person if you're only semi-hungry or can't eat a ton. We ended up bringing home a whole other meal for my husband. I've tried many BBQ places here in Louisville and honestly, they all kind of missed the mark - too dry, too seasoned, trying too hard. Chili's ribs are tender, well seasoned and their sauce is amazing, just tangy enough. On top of that, they're so consistent and reliable with other entrees and sides as well. I went to their website to place an order to avoid the doordash fees and i was gonna go pick it up. In the middle of me placing my order, the page refreshed then asked me for my location again. i thought that was weird but I put my location back in and I selected the same store that I had previously selected, which is the Hurstbourne store, and then it said I could no longer place an order for today, but one for tomorrow. The way this company treats their customers and staff is appalling. In addition to the restaurant being extremely cold both staff and customers are challenged when it comes time to pay the bill. The table top payment system is not user friendly to anyone if there is more than one bill at the table. Customers can only pay one at a time if there are multiple bills. Unfortunately I paid with a gift card and because the total looked correct I missed that I was overcharged $5.30 for a dessert I didn't order or get. read more

Finally convinced my man to give chilis another try so we came and enjoyed our experience on Friday the 17th. We came in around 9pm, we had a late movie showing so it was very convenient that they were open until 11. I am vegetarian so with that there wasn't many options to choose from,& but our server, James, directed me towards the black bean burger. Which I had on the Alex's Santa Fe burger. I love the 2 for 35 when I'm in the mood to have an all out meal since you get an appetizer, two entrees, desert and margaritas for just 35 bucks. It's a really good deal! This time we went for the 2 for 20 menu because we didn't feel like drinks and desert. We ordered the Texas cheese fries which are amazing! Dip them in the ranch it comes with! It makes it that much more flavorful. The jalapeños add that extra hit of spice and flavor without making it too spicy. I also got the chicken fajitas. I thought it was a great portion size for the price and was good, but it lacked some flavor that I was hoping for and came with not enough tortillas. My Husband and I walked in to an almost empty dining room. The guy at the server stand asked us how many we had and my Husband said "just two and we would like a table". The guy who looked to be maybe 16 just looked at us and then looked at the seating chart for the empty restaurant and said "sorry no tables available I'll have to seat you in a booth. Mind you I'm standing right next to probably 10 empty tables. I look at him and said you don't have any tables? He said "no it will have to be a booth." I said "what about these tables right here? We went here this afternoon because I was craving their chips and salsa. The chips are always super thin and the salsa is super good without being chunky. We were seated right away and served our drinks. My husband and I went to the 2/$25 deal. Comes with an appetizer, 2 entrees and a dessert. We both ordered the chicken tenders. Went here earlier to celebrate my birthday and the 2 for 22 did not disappoint. Our skillet cheese fries came in and were great with the ranch they gave us. There's something about bacon, ranch, and French fries that really hits the spot... I ordered the Half Rack of Baby Rack Ribs, which I thought may not be enough, but what the waitress brought out was this monstrous thing of ribs and that came with a side of corn and fries. The corn was coated in butter with a delicious chipotle dry rub and basil, which tasted amazing. The side of fries was about what you'd expect. They were uniformly cut for the most part and they weren't burnt, they were perfectly golden. I had the baby back ribs with traditional bbq but you can have it other ways with either dry rubs or sauces. The waitress/waiter will ask (usually...if they don't, ask). We did not do the 2 for $35 as we usually do, but if you feel like giving a little extra for some drinks and some better entrees, have at it, but I definitely got the value out of my money tonight. It is good to eat at a chain restaurant occasionally. It makes me appreciate all the local places we have to choose from. The house margarita was so limey I could not drink. The frisco salad was very good. Crisp lettuce with a nice dressing. The nachos were so greasy we could not eat. The chicken and waffles were good but super sweet. Not a bad meal but not great either.
