We got the fried deviled eggs and just wow. Crispy, fresh, and the bacon was sweet. So yummy. My husband got the chicken and waffles, which were heavenly. And the margaritas! I got the chicken pot pie, and it was the best thing I've ever eaten. It was flaky, it was rich, it was savory and just everything about it was perfect. The only item that we believe could have been a bit better was the dessert - the Ultimate Brownie (warm chocolate walnut brownie, vanilla ice cream, with chocolate & caramel sauces.). 3/21/26 we went to Brick House Tavern. This was our first visit. They are part of the Landry group. I was really excited to go because I got a $25 Birthday Reward to use. It took us a while to pick out what we wanted to order. We thought if there were a few more menu choices, it would have been easier to decide what to eat. What we bought was.... "No Bun Intended" and my husband ordered "Triple Play Cheese Burger". They were both very good. Our server Dasha did an excellent job. She also described the dishes to us. We have ate here many times and it's always been a nice experience for us. Happy hour is great with very inexpensive margaritas and it's one of the only places I get something different each time I go... which is very rare! The burger I got this last time was very grassy and the cheese fries were just as yummy. The menu has a diverse selection in all categories. We greatly enjoyed the menu items that we received. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and I believe that it was the best Chicken Pot Pie I have ever tasted in a restaurant. The crust was very flakey and flavorful. Inside, the pie contained lots of white meat chicken, peas, carrots and potato's. My guest ordered a double stack Brick Burger Classic, and said that it was one of the best burgers that he has eaten. Had a taste for chicken wings, stumbled upon Brick House Tavern and ordered the Duck Wings! One bite and suddenly I was in "Wing Heaven". Slightly different bird than intended, but I was so pleased. We have eaten here before and we liked it. We thought we would introduce our oldest son to it. Well, I reduced my score down to four stars after this visit. Prices have gone up of course, but that was not the issue. My wife and I are eating healthier so we tried the Thai Salad and the Atlantic Salmon. The salad was fine, but just fine. The Salmon was overcooked and dry. Strangely, there was no salt or pepper on the table And we had to ask for it. It was very fine and ok. As they say, it got the job done. Sports on the tv and loud music is the ambiance. We were a group of 7 on a monday early evening. We were seated right away and had a nice, friendly server. The beer list is better than expected (or about as good as expected for a "Tap House") with options to get different size pours of brews. That is appreciated! The food came out in a timely fashion and ready to eat. I got the wild mushroom flatbread with the intention of bringing half of it home for leftovers, but I finished it. It is not so much the size, it was just and overall lighter dish than expected. Service was pretty great from what I recall, easily and quickly managing a larger group with aplomb. Everything was ok. I don't know if I would go out of my way to come here, but I wouldn't fight it if someone else suggested it and wanted to eat here. read more

Looks like a nice place. Access from the street is awkward parking lot is inconvenient. I stopped in after a 12 hour shift tired and hungry and admittedly looking like I'd just come off a 12 hour shift tired and hungry... I can't speak about the food because after standing at the host station for 5 minutes I left. They were mildly busy but multiple tables were open. I've visited this restaurant soooo many times over the years as it's right in my neighborhood. I've always felt they had great food. My most recent visit was taking my parents there for my Dad's birthday. It was their first time. Dad just had chicken fingers (he hates ordering more expensive options when I'm paying), mom had fried fish, my boyfriend had the drunken porkchop, and I had the chicken pot pie. I've had the pot pie numerous times and it's always so good... usually take half home since it's a big portion. I've had the chops before too and they're great... the boyfriend agreed. There are plenty of tvs so always a good spot to catch a game, nice fireplace near the front that can get VERY warm if you're seated near it, great outdoor patio for dining with seating at the bar from the outside too. Some options for seating are couches at a table... while the couch is comfortable, it's kinda awkward to eat at since you feel slightly low to the table, and it makes it hard to communicate with others in your party on the other side of the table (especially if you relax into the couch) but the couches make for a great spot to just lounge with a drink, watching tv. read more

Brick House was recommended to me by my sister. I had a late lunch there today. I sat at the bar with my sister and ordered the Thai Chicken Salad which was very good. It didn't have much dressing on it, as ordered. So I did ask for a bit more on the side. The server at the bar was great, friendly, and very attentive. She made a wonderful Old Fashion.
