This is the only McDonald's, that I know of, that has a dock. Not only does it have a dock, but it has numbered pick up spots, on the dock, for your app orders! My Uncle John used to bring us here for a fun boat trip. It really does make for an interesting story. I wonder what other McDonald's have a similar setup? Ordered using their AP. AP works approx 1/4 of the time. Line of cars in drive through so thought I'd go inside to pick up our order. Man and a manager were at the front door with door open. Had to walk between them to get in the door. She said excuse me...like I was interrupting something. Waited a minute and guy working there said they didn't have an uber orders. I said I was there to pick up an AP order. He said I would have to go through the drive through to get the AP order. I said I have to wait for the 7-8 cars to go through drive through to get my order? He looked out their side window and said there are only two cars. I said two you can see but 7-8 in line. He said they already gotten their food. That is not true. Saw the line as I left. While walking out manager and some guy still standing at front entrance and had to walk through them....again. She asked if something is wrong. Was going to state my case to her also, but I was over it and left without getting our food. Last time I will visit a McDonalds ever. They usually have me pull up to the white line and wait 10-15 minutes anyway for my order on their AP, which is usually two meals. Not that complex. I am not a frequent flyer at any McD's. This location, Madeira Beach, Tom Stuart Causeway, everything during my visit was perfect. Monica, was on point, held the door for me, attentive, and engaging with the customers and her coworkers. Every staff member on the clock was working, smiling, communicating with each other. I went ordered and waited , I saw my burger sitting on a tray not under a heat lamp waiting for a fry , While waiting I saw at least five orders going out through the drive thru window . Fry's come up go down 3 times while my hokey puck burgers freezing by now , I brought it to there attention and I was told I have to wait . I try to never go to McDonalds because their pricing and marketing is such a scam. I went this afternoon because I was in a rush and they got me again! Their menu is like the Sunday jumble in the newspaper, so I order 2 Double Cheeseburgers off of their "VALUE MENU"; they're $3.69 each! As if that's not bad enough, after I pay at the first windows there's a sign on the wall to the second window that for, McDouble, fries and a drink for $3.49. I ask the guy at the pickup windows what the difference is between McDouble and Double Cheeseburger and it's 1 cheese versus 2. So for 20 cents less per burger I would have basically gotten the same burger, fries and a drink. Their pricing and marketing is very scammy! This lesson will last me at least another six months before I'll let my guard again. read more

We are out of towners. We usually will do one McDonalds breakfast day. This was the closest to our hotel. I give it 2 stars because the order was correct. I never complain about my coffee at McDonalds but I think this location needs proper training. I ordered coffee with a pump of cream. I got cream with a pump of coffee. It looked like milk and tasted bad. I went back and had to guide them on making it. Not rocket science, not a really busy morning just get it right. read more

Got off work late and usually this mcdonald's is the only thing open so i mobile ordered but when i pulled up they told me they were "all out of food" im sorry but how is that even possible, i understand if they closed down the grills/fryers early but isn't that supposed to be a closing task that's done after close? I wish I could leave zero, was super busy at drive through should have had hot food. Double cheeseburger was cold almost like it had been sitting for awhile. The most incompetent people I have ever come across in my life. I know it's fast food, but take a little pride in your work. I ordered a breakfast burrito meal and asked for the hot picante sauce to go with it. They gave me buffalo sauce. When I brought it to the lady's attention she wanted to argue that the buffalo sauce is the only sauce they use with the breakfast burritos. Pulled up. 20 minutes before closing time on Saturday night and was treated like crap ! Ice cream machine was down , receipt printer was down. Frys were cold and burgers had cold cheese . This place tries... but fails. I've been a MB local for years and if I'm craving a Big Mac I pass this place and go to the McD's on Seminole Blvd. Much hotter and fresher. Find a nice soft place to sit down. What I am about to tell you all is absolutely earth shattering. Are you ready? Well, here it is... I ORDERED AN OREO MCFLURRY AND RECEIVED ONE. This location is under construction and only the drive thru is open. That's not why I gave 1 star. The drive thru line was very slow. There should be staff in the line taking orders like Chick-Fil-A does to have them ready. When a got up to the pay window, there was nobody in front of me. Food is okay, it's a McDonalds. Service is bad, hygiene is very, very bad. When we got there there was not a clean table to be found. Floor is even worse. We had to clean our own table and seats. With 3 hungry kids, looking for another place was not an option so we did it anyway. The drivethru guy kept walking through the place talking to his friends who were seated there. Drivethru was quiet, he could have easily actually have worked for a living, take a rag and clean the place. After a great experience with the McDonald's App at Tyrone. I felt safe about using the app on Madera Beach. I could not have been any more wrong. I ordered, parked in the space provided as the app instructs and waited for the order which was to take 5 mins according to the app. I waited and waited and waited and waited.....no order. I went into the store and waited some more as a line of customers were wondering where their food was. One women was told that the place was behind because they just fired an employee. When they got to me a 'Manager' told me they don't bring the food to the car (even though the app tells you they do and you park in designated spaces to wait for the order????) result was a long wait....Cold fries, cold burgers and cold coffee.......My recommendation....drive to the Tyrone store ......This place can go the way of the Treasure Island store, a parking lot would be better use. Horrible experience......horrible food.......waste of money.......By the way, McDonald's answer is they let the owner handle problems.....good luck with that...... read more
