I had ordered 2 meals from the McDonald's app and accidentally selected the wrong location. I explained the situation at the speaker and asked if there was any way the order could be transferred. The employee was very kind and said she would speak to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager said there was nothing they could do. Because of that, I had to go back through the drive-thru and place another order for the same 2 meals. By this point, I had already been at McDonald's for about 20-25 minutes dealing with the line and the situation. When I received my food, the employee at the window checked everything in it. I admit I should have checked it myself right away while i was at the window , but I didn't notice the issues until I parked. The order was incorrect, I received a small fry instead of a medium fry, and one entire burger was missing. I then went inside the McDonald's to have the order corrected, but as I walked in, the manager was already closing the inside gate while other customers ahead of me were asking if the lobby was closed. It was only around 7:40 PM at the time. The manager said Mcdonald's was closing early at 8 for everything. Overall, the experience was frustrating because of the long wait, having to repurchase my meals due to the app mistake, and then still receiving an incomplete order. I understand mistakes happen, but I was disappointed with how the situation was handled. read more

By far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Super slow, the workers are very rude. And our food was burnt to a crisp. The whole experience was terrible. We've tried this place 3 different times and it's always been awful. We're not originally from Madison but everyone we've spoken to has had the same experiences as we had. After the last visit, we've never been back. Hopefully madison opens some more options... if you're thinking about it, just don't lol read more

Do not recommend Stopped here while on vacation. Food quality was poor. Both my wife and I threw out most of our meals. I had asked the manager for 1 ketchup packet. She put a small handful of packets in my bag. Once on the road I discovered that the packets where all covered in gunk...which was now on my hash brown. read more

The order taking persons are RUDE as they can be, and often get your order wrong. The fries are cold and you could run half a tank of gas out while waiting at the drive thru. In the same amount of time you could drive to the McDonald's in Ruckersville to get your order and drive back. The guy tries, but just doesn't get the nature of the business--ought to take lessons from the one in Ruckersville. Keep trying, but years pass and it just gets worse. Someone missed their calling. Corporate ought to shut this place down. read more

Absolutely terrible service , I was completely ignored by managers after trying to get their attention for more than 20 minutes when asking about my mobile order being randomly cancled after already being paid for. Multiple staff members are very rude and unprofessional. If you plan on getting fast food , save yourself time , money and anger and do not come here. read more

Placed order on mobile app Tuesday 8/2/22 at 10:45. So they knew I was on the way and they were like "not today". Arrived at 10:54. We're told by automated recording at the drive thru that they were closed. They are not suppose to close until 11pm. This McDonald's is in a small town. They switch over there menus early and close early. They do as they please here. Lousy management. read more

my husband and I came to this McDonald's many times and every time we get breakfast we ask for extra breakfast sauce on our bagels they do not put it on there. my husband asked for mor because there was none on the bagel and showed the MANAGER!! The manager got a cup of sauce threw it on the counter and as we are sitting down the manager and a boy that makes the sandwiches was talking rudely among each other about my husband they clear said (as we are sitting in the dinning area where we can hear them) I put extra on there that's the same guy that complains every time then the manager proceeds in response and says I know that's why I gave it to him just to shut him up. these workers are rude and the manager her is very horrible. If asked to pull to the sign and wait in actuality it means after ten or so minutes you'll need to go in and remind them about food order and while walking in you'll be told you're holding up the line by people driving large SUVS who have plenty of room to pull beside you but would rather yell at you. This is not the same as the place I worked as a teenager! What has happened to the quality of McDonald's employees?! Today, 10-25-2020, I was under the weather and in bed sleeping, so my wife went up to get some breakfast, after waiting in the drive through for twenty minutes, breakfast was over...by two minutes. Not that big of a deal, she ordered some lunch for us instead. She ordered a fillet-o-fish sandwich meal, a two cheeseburger meal, and a ten piece nuggets (for the dogs). She got home, took our dogs outside, one at a time, so they could go to the bathroom. When she was done with that, she opened the bag and you'll never guess what she found...a box of nuggets and some fries. She went back up and went inside to get it straightened out. By the time she got to speak to someone, about an hour had past. Keep in mind we don't live right down the street. This is a rural area and nothing is right next-door. The manager accused my wife of eating all of the sandwiches. My wife finally got a refund, and as my wife started walking out of the store, the manager thought my wife was gone already, so she started talking crap about my wife to the other employees. Not only are we not going to return to this McDonalds, I am going to make it my life's mission to find who the owner of this store is and be sure this person is fired! I may even find where this person works next and ensure they get fired from that place as well. I remember working at McDonalds as a teenager and that was NOT how business was done! Maybe it's a sign of the times, maybe it was because the one I worked for actually wanted to make their customers happy. read more

Traveling on business, I stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It is a small McDonald's in a BP gas station. They have a drive-thru, but I went inside to use the internet and sit at a table while I ate my bacon and egg biscuit. I parked in front of the convenience store door and walked in. My first thought was that I had been here before, but no. This floor plan for combining the restaurant and gas station is just a cookie cutter design I've seen elsewhere. The drink station is just inside the convenience store area. The shared bathrooms are in the gas station side of the house. My food was hot. It tasted good. I was looking for some salt and pepper and did not see it. One of the counter people helped me out and handed it to me. It had been sitting right under my nose. They were not busy that morning. There was only one register open and one cashier working. The cashier was attending to the dining room when I walked in, so I had to wait just a little bit for her to get back behind the register. The bathroom did not look as nice as I've come to expect from McDonald's, but was in line with what you might expect for a small gas station. The door had duct tape on it. There was crud on the bathroom stall door that needed to be scrubbed off. There were small holes in the walls. The coat hook on the bathroom stall door was broken. The paper towels at the sink were not in the holder, but just sitting on the counter. The toilet paper was about out, but enough for a few more people - was a three roll container - two rolls were empty and the third was well on it's way. I had to flush the toilet five times to get it to carry away the waste. Bad design maybe? read more

Stay away! Terrible. Bad service and horrible managers. Waited 20mins in drive thru... charged 3xs and was told my payment was still pending!!! ??? Called their Corp office and they offered nothing but a sorry..... I never did get any lunch and they didn't care! Cars behind me were actually calling the restaurant talking to the manager while dealing with my prob and all she did was keep telling me the computer is saying pending..... and she kept rolling her eyes while talking to lady on phone who was actually the car behind me! read more

We stopped by on the way to the mountains for a drink & some fries for a snack. Everything came up fast and fresh. The best part about the place is the staff. They were very courteous & while we were there some crusty old guy came in cussing out one of the employees because his drive through order wasn't right. The young man who was there on a Saturday evening simply ignored his behavior & remade his food, he showed great restraint, if it had been me I would have been looking for another job. read more

Quick, hot food, served in a friendly and courteous way. The bathrooms need more maintenance, but they can work on that. If you leave your car in the large lot for half an hour to visit nearby businesses, they don't bother you. The restaurant interior is bright, cheerful, and always clean. The exterior of the restaurant is kept swept and tidy. It is a good gathering place for locals. An unpublished review for this business mentions a local derelict yelling at cars with Trump stickers; we once had the same experience here, and the management needs to shoo such public nuisances off the property promptly. All in all, however, this place is a class act. read more

My husband and I stopped here for a quick drink and snack on our way home from Charlottesville. This McDonald's is part of a BP gas station, and therefore is a small restaurant . On using the restrooms first, we found them to be so dirty and disgusting that I was afraid to eat anything prepared on the premises. Before we left, I asked at the BP cash register who it was that took care of the restrooms. I was told McDonalds, so I asked to speak to the manager of the restaurant I told him both bathrooms were in need of cleaning and were, in fAct, disgusting. He said it would be taken care of, but after reading the review from a year ago, I rather doubt it....I only gave this one star because I think that was the only way I could leave a review. read more

Customer services was horrible! No one came on the speaker in the drive thru. When I went up to the window, the lady acted like it was my fault. So she finally put my order in and I went to the next window. At the next window I knew my order would be out of order. There were two drinks waiting for the person behind me. When the window opened I started to explain but he cut me off and said " First off do you need a cup holder." I tried to explain again same thing. I finally told him he situation. Not a participating McD's for kids to receive free kids cone. Combined with gas station which offers very little parking out front for restaurant. Other then that nothing stands out to set this apart from the rest. Had to point out their sign in their window for a special they were running because apparently the cashier wasn't familiar with it. read more
