Found this place when we were looking for a warm meal after our hikes. Rodeo Burger with onion rings - the beef patty was not seasoned so it was very bland. I relied heavily on the salt from the bacon. I appreciated how toasted the buns were. The onion rings were good and the dipping sauce it came with was good. There was another dipping sauce but it was very runny and sweet. I think they accidentally gave us a salad dressing. Shenandoah Burger with sweet potato fries - the beef patty was also very bland. Because there was nothing salty like bacon, it was just very very bland. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

The burger was sooo good. I loved the sweet potato fried with the cinnamon dip! Ambiance is okay but food makes up for it. Service is great too.

Old 33 is the place for great burgers. The burgers are cooked just right (not overcooked), but juicy and with great flavor. They have a good selection of specialty burgers. Their onion rings are really good. The service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant has a laidback atmosphere.

We stayed in Elkton for a weekend and decided to try this place out since it was only a few minutes away. Firstly, their menu is great - lots of options and everything sounds amazing, it was hard to choose what to get. Two of us got wings and then three of us got burgers. We also ordered some Jalepeno poppers which were amazing! Everyone really enjoyed everything they ordered. Our only complaint about this place was that the service is soooo slow. I'm not sure if we just went on a bad night or maybe the server forgot to put in our order but it was bad. There was only like four other tables in the entire restaurant and we waited an hour for our entrees. We also noticed that some tables who arrived about thirty minutes after us were getting their food first. Not sure what that was about but luckily we weren't in a hurry and the food made up for it.

We've passed by this place so many times and finally decided to drop in. It's an older brick building. The fanciest thing is the sign. It's a smallish place with tables and a few bar seats. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and taken to a table. It was around 2:00pm so it wasn't that busy. My sister and I both ordered the Shenandoah Burger that came with grilled onions & mushrooms, Swiss cheese and lettuce & tomato. I gotta say, this is one of the best burgers to tickle my taste buds in a while. Starting with the bun, it was just enough bread with a slight char. The burger itself was beefy and not greasy. Loved the way the onions and mushrooms were cooked - just lightly sauteed. Yummy! I wanted to gobble the whole thing down but kept myself in check and saved half for my hubby. The french fries were pretty basic, but they were good accompaniment. We will definitely be back! Good work!

Staying at the Lydia Mountain cabins and stubbled across this place on Yelp. We decided to give it a try. We ordered pick up and got the Rodeo burger w/potato salad, Classic burger w/mac n cheese, and Spicy Honey boneless wings. Everything was pretty good burger was a smidge dry and I didn't like the wing sauce I picked (wasn't the worst but next time I'll try another flavor). I would definitely go back if I'm up here traveling again.

Great burgers! Well made and fresh. The place looks like a hole in the wall but the food and service are both outstanding.

Excellent burger. Good service. Open for a late dinner. One of only a few restaurants close to our AirBNB, so I was happy it was good!

The hotel is clean, modern, and reasonably priced, but honestly, the real highlight is the Ridge Room. After a long day on the road, I really don't want to get back in the car to find dinner, so having a rooftop restaurant just steps from the room is perfect. The mountain views are great, and the farm-to-table menu is always interesting. We've eaten here several times, and it has never disappointed. The food is consistently good, and the bartenders know what they're doing--the drinks are just as solid as the meals. It's one of those places where the menu might not immediately grab you, but once you try the food, it all clicks. Definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to.

I have found the front staff and the wait staff to be lacking in their consideration towards restaurant guests. It seems that they are picking and choosing whom they choose to grant a great experience to. Service: The front staff and waitress we had carried an air of attitude when dealing with me and my family. It seemed like they were not keen to accommodate a few of our basic requests which essentially boiled down to laziness. To be honest, they are very petty when it comes to getting a table on their rooftop...when my family (of 5) came in, they told us it was first come first serve and sat us inside. Another family came in with 3-4 adults and 2 kids after we were seated, to which they promptly moved them outside even though they were inside as well when a spot opened up. I'm not truly understanding the mentality of service here and frankly thought for a nice establishment there would be better decorum and attitude towards guests. Food: overall pretty good. I found the food and drink to be solid. In summary, the food is good here but doesn't surpass the service we received.

It was cozy, welcoming, and actually pretty quiet, which made the whole dinner feel relaxed and special. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server started us off with fresh homemade focaccia, and my lord, it was delicious. So soft, airy, warm, and basically impossible not to keep reaching for. We all ordered the filet mignon, and every steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. Tender, seasoned beautifully, and genuinely melted in your mouth. You do get a choice of sauce, so we tried their house-made steak sauce. The steak honestly did not need a single thing, but the sauce was impressive too. Mild, a little sweet, a little smoky, and really well-balanced. My husband had the mashed potatoes and boldly claimed they were better than mine. I regretfully had to agree. My son and I had the goat cheese macaroni and cheese, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best mac and cheese I have ever eaten. We even asked for seconds to go, and I will absolutely be attempting a copycat version at home. We were too full for dessert, but I can promise you this meal did not disappoint. We will be talking about this dinner for years. We even said that if we were younger, we would totally plan an entire weekend around eating here again.

The Chop House literally feels like a house and we really enjoyed the vibe. We were seated on the second floor and were welcomed with a little congratulatory note at our table. It turned out that everyone else on the second floor was celebrating an anniversary as well! The server was very sweet and really set the standard for kindness and making us feel welcomed. For dinner we had the filet mignon and the sirloin steak both with mashed potatoes. They were excellent and in my opinion better than Morton's. The bread they gave us prior to dinner also deserves a shout out. Really this was just the perfect experience for an anniversary dinner. I highly recommend The Chop House Bistro!
