We proceeded to wait 25 minutes for our food while other people got our food before us. Terrible service. I am a McDonald's stockholder who lives within a mile of this McDonald's. I just waited 21 minutes for a McDouble and large Coke during a time when there was plenty of staff and few customers. This location is routinely awful. I won't be back and won't bring my kids here either. Besides the unbelievably slow service, there were flies everywhere inside the dining area. The owner needs to take a serious look at this operation before the franchise intervenes. read more

Food is as expected at any McDonald's but incredibly slow. I went today (Sunday) over lunch and the drive thru line was around the building so we went in to order. It was a 20 minute wait to get our two meals, making us late for an activity. The other customers and I were debating abandoning our orders even though we had paid because it was taking so long. I came here after a long day at work very hungry, they pulled us forward and everyone got there food while we waited 20 minutes for our mcchicken and burger only! then they mess up my entire order, only gave me like 10 fries out of the whole medium fry box, and they put everything i asked NOT to be on my sandwich, was on my sandwich. We work in town a lot and we go to this McDonald's a lot! I have to say for a McDonald's this place is really good and they get my order right every-time! The real reason I like going in there is because I get to see my hard working brother Andrew busting his butt and bring people there orders! Drive-thru service used to be the best but has become the worst! I've witnessed others wait for multiple cars in the other lane to get their order taken while they didn't even get a hello. Well today that was me. As the 3rd car in the other lane started placing their order I let them know about it and left without placing an order. Chances are it would've been a crumbled burger that wouldn't hold together on the bun, not the way I ordered it or I would just be given someone else's food altogether anyway. Sorry I could give one star, but you can't rate any lower. Besides the slow service, and not getting it even right. This seems to be the normal for McDonald's locations. I can remember many years ago when the food actually tasted good. Now it taste like processed cardboard. The buns are dried out and tasteless. Seems like now they realized just how bad they are and are advertising they are making burgers with fresh meat. As I have not been back in McDonald's for over a year now. Took my grandson in for lunch today and he ordered his usual special and I had a new sandwich called a smokehouse something or another but it had bacon and what appeared to be French fried onion rings and some kind of mystery meat that they call hamburger it's supposed to be beef but what part of the cow is it. Prices are cheap sure, but when the food is just salted cardboard you may as well just spend the extra dollar and get something edible. Avoid this McDonalds!!!!! I live in Mahomet. Unfortunately my family frequently visits this McDs because there are not a lot of options in town. This McDs 95% of the time gets our order wrong. We are either missing not only one but multiple items and tonight was the last straw when we ordered salads in the drive through and they came out without chicken on them. Seriously. Long preview short, I have been around for awhile. I am approaching my 50's. So who cares? I care, I love Mcdonalds. I have been to Mcdonalds since I was 8. Where does this one rank in my many travels, the frequency of going to the same locations over and over again, in the places I have lived in my lifetime. Well this place is one of my top 3 worst. I hope the owner doesn't read this and yell at his current staff too much. You only had maybe one, possibly two managers since I have lived here in mahomet since 2003 that were good(Mostly bad!) I am tired of getting my double or an old sandwich slapped together by a 3 year old or I don't give a s*** mentality! I am tired of getting my fries half full, or cold, or both. I am tired of getting one thing wrong after another. What topped it all off recently, it is the consistency of bad recently. Oh also, I had to drive off getting my change from the front window while the employees talked. So I said man, your future looks bleak, you might need the change. I am so frustrated with this place and its owners, I am going to do something I have never done before which is write a letter to a corporate office. It will be grammatically correct and more professional like I am(not a frustrated rant). I am going to write one to every head officer so that, although they might not all get it or at all, maybe someone in one or two departments might actually say to themselves,(hey this guy is really a nutter, or man that mcdonalds must be really really bad).
