This McDonalds, located just off of 24 in Manchester, has become a consistent stop for me on my way out of Nashville. I have dined in and hit the drive thru, with no major issues with either. I will say that the service I receive via drive thru is usually better than when I dine in. Food is always as expected and the tea is always sweeter than my momma! Oh geez a rating of 1.5 stars if only had I paid attention, I'm either crazy or desperate, probably the latter since it was very late when I arrived here after having unresolvable issues with yet another Southwest Airline's flight this time out of Nashville to Orlando. After I made the decision to drive home verses rolling the dice on a flight out over the next few days I decided to stop here for a large cup of hot coffee. Of course I used the drive through, there was only one customer in front of me so the wait time was minimal - the attendant was very polite and had me driving up to the pay window in mere moments. Once I paid I pulled up to get my order, it was ready and handed to me by a polite member of the staff and was thanked after the exchange. Yes only a quick detour from my route and I'm eastbound on I-24, it's a beautiful clear night and the traffic is relatively light, the new Ford Explorer I just rented is comfortable, the music and temperature are set and my vape pen is close by in the console ext to my coffee with easy access, my gps is set so it looks like this drive is going to be okay even though I've been up since 5:00 AM and it's now close to midnight. Ahhh coffee time, I always allow a few minutes before taking my first sip, the cup is hot but manageable a slight blow into the plastic topper is instinctual, I have my doubts if it's effective against scalding my lip but I do it anyways - the first sip is the test and is the final element needed to review this location fairly. After a quick sampling it was obvious this coffee had been sitting awhile before being served, the slight charred taste wasn't the worst I've ever had but still disappointing and there's no fixing it so I push forward knowing there will be lots of opportunities for caffeine ahead on this 700 mile drive. There are lots of reasons for a business to get poor reviews, inconsistent customer service and products are the most common, in my opinion they succeeded with the customer service side except for the fact they knew the coffee was old when they poured it so they are less than just okay for me... read more

This place is an absolute fever dream of a McDonald's. I don't expect much from McDonald's, just give me my mcchicken and call it a day. But when I tell you fighting Hercules himself with my bare hands would've been an easier task, I mean it. I never knew a quarter ponder could look like a sunset on the horizon, but with the pretty pink hue, I would've thought I was on a vacation. Not to mention the chilling bite..... BREATHTAKING. This place has drastically gone down hill over the last couple of years. The inside is always dirty. If you want a clean table to eat on, you'll probably have to clean it yourself. The employees are usually rude, and more enthralled with getting back outside to smoke then take your order. Something's Definitely Better I have never been a fan of McDonald's restaurants as a whole and much less of a fan of the Manchester location, but I do get a hankerin for a sausage and egg McMuffin every once in a while. I am almost always disappointed and even amazed at the low quality service at Manchester, but THEY HAVE MADE SOME SERIOUS CHANGES lately. The last three times I've been in, my meal would be ready before I could get my drink fixed!!! Although this is an updated McDonald's it is pretty dirty. They are pretty busy because they are right off the highway and this brings in more people than the average McDonald's. They need to be better staffed and they make terrible use of the space they have. The food taste the same as any other McDonald's. If you can get past the homeless people inside and pestering you at the drive thru. Then I guess you won't mind. I normally use the app and have my food brought to me so I don't have to deal with the aforementioned issues. read more

This place was filthy. The bathrooms had the appearance of clean, but walls and other vertical surfaces marred and filthy. Food on the floor in the bathroom. The entrance doors were filthy, the glass marked with hundreds of finger prints, clearly not cleaned in days. The cash registers were covered in dust. This place needs a thorough and deep clean. Health inspection shows 100% in July 2018. It is now Feb 2019 and there is no way they would get a 100%. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Several had very few teeth. read more
