I went to go pick it up and got there just in time , was ignored while every employee was back there gossiping and on their phones, straight pulling their phones out of their pockets and showing eachother stuff and then going straight back to work with the food . I finally got asked what I needed and I told them my code ... I was told we can't get your order anymore because it's past breakfast time. Mind you it was 10:32 and my sister marked there on the app before 10:30, I clearly ask for manager who comes out telling us oh well we needed to be there on time . I said um we were but weren't helped in time as all your employees were on their phones, which is disgusting , I work with food as QA so the fact your cook put her food straight on all the silverware and half on someone's order was disgusting to watch. The order was placed at 10am. No reason it shouldn't have been filled on time let alone not one employee should have their phones on them let alone taking them out with their gloves on. The woman who was working as manager at this location on Saturday April 18th was incredibly rude and should not be working a managerial position. The kiosk was broken and it led to a technical error that would not allow me to use the deal code available in my app. When I explained the issue to her with proof that I had not used the code on my app or in store and asked if she could manually enter it (as had been done at another location when an issue had happened before) she said "oh so you knew that this would happen?" Consistently get order wrong, fill cups about 80%, and fries are only about 60% full on a regular basis. Very rarely do they add the extras I pay for. I pay $3 for 3 sandwich's to have cheese and rarely do they put cheese. It's not that hard. read more

Since it is all app based I was stuck waiting to get someone's attention. People arrived, ordered at kiosk and received their orders while I was still waiting. Finally I decided to stand right in front of the side to get their attention. Otherwise staff really doesn't pay attention to you. I get the moved to app based but implementation in store at this location is not great. Restaurant looks nice and new inside but completely removing the customer service element and not having some sort of monitor to get your order addressed is not great. My order seemed to be just nowhere and if I had not just forced myself up there they would have just left me there. When we get this it's usually drive through but went inside and this one had a fully automated order kiosk, so that was interesting. They got us our food fast and the place has a very modern look did not feel like the old Ronald McDonald vibe, then realized this is a McCafe....whatever that means. The people were nice, but you now have to order either through the app or on the kiosk, which requires you to put the app on your phone to complete the order. Go somewhere wide where there are friendly staff to take your order. It's very sad how they sing even have a person at the counter unless you call to them to give you napkins (none given when they brought our tray to the table) no straw for the milk, only a couple packets of ketchup so we had to go ask for that, you have to wait and ask for a refill of soda. Go to In n Out for better food, prices and excellent service. read more

Did a drive up order for a breakfast sandwich and coffee as I was rushing to work. The order was ready and the lady in the front was really nice. They weren't busy on a Wednesday around 10:30 am. The sandwich was good. Only feedback is that there was no napkins and personal opinion is all carry out orders should ALWAYS have napkins! Like all the newer/remodeled locations, I don't like it. The self service kiosks take up a lot of the area. There are not self-service soda machines, ketchup, straws, even napkins- you are solely at the mercy of the staff, of which there are few. So gone are the days of getting your own soda while you wait, refills, napkins, and condiments. You now need to wait at the counter for the already busy employees to get the items for you. The food was fresh and the the people were nice, but the convenience is gone. read more

This McDonald's, needs to get it together. There's always a huge line & only one person is taking orders between the 2 speakers. I look forward to my sweet tea everyday, yes a horrible habit BUT non the less, my favorite part of my day. EVERY TIME lately I get it back completely unsweetened. Today, I tasted it before I pulled off. It was completely UNSWEETENED so I told the girl, I'm so sorry can you please add sweetener to this? It's not sweet like at all. The last time that I was in this location was December 2014. I'd picked up a buddy from work in the shopping center across the road and he wanted to stop for McDonald's. It was so dirty, I didn't order. After my recent experience at the location on West Yosemite, I wasn't sure I wanted to try again, but I wanted something different. They had the self-serve kiosks, but they also had someone at the front counter, who didn't seem medicated. As soon as the customers in front of me finished, he took my order--Quarter Pounder with Cheese combo meal. He took my money, and almost but didn't forget to give me my cup. It took a little while for the food, but not nearly as bad as the West Yosemite store, where it barely arrived and was at room temperature. The food was sufficient, as if they were a little busy, a little distracted. The drink machine performed well enough, but was out of a number of add-on flavors. The dining room was apparently in the process of being cleaned--the tools were out on a table--but someone hadn't hurried to finish. This review is solely based on the customer service, not the food, because the food is the same at every location and nothing to write home about. I placed a large order on the app thinking it would make my morning a little less hectic. Unfortunately that was not the case. On the app I selected curbside, however I came, parked and sat in the stall for 10 minutes. I finally decided to go inside the restaurant to see why there was a delay I asked the young lady tasked to curbside when car #4 would be ready. She said they go based on arrival. We'll, riddle me this riddler why did car #3 and car #5 (cars that arrived after us) receive their orders before me. So now I'm inside the restaurant for the 2nd time. And it turns out they never made my order and now they are scrambling and running into each other to work fast to get the order out. I finally get my order in multiple bags (they don't even have the decency to put the multiple bags in the large shopping bags for the man that i assume they gave my order too initially). I've been to this location a handful of times. It's very conveniently located close to my friend's house, so I end up stopping by for food before I hang out or picking up after I leave. I've never had an issue with the service or staff here. The employees have always been pretty friendly. It seems to be a fairly clean place from what I've seen. The problem is in the quality of the food. Any burger or sandwich I order will usually come out warm, but not exactly as hot as I'd like, which is disappointing. However, the major issue here is the fries. McDonald's has arguably, the best fries in the entire fast food game. It's that undisputed flavor and quality that has given them the honor of the top spot on most people's lists. And it's been that way since we were all kids. Yet, every time I come here, the fries are of very poor quality. It's such a let down to receive old McDonald's fries. Old fries, in general, are pretty frustrating, wherever you go, but especially for McDonald's because that signature tastiness just isn't there when you get old fries. I would gladly wait an extra few minutes for hot McD goodness. It's not just me either. My friend has the same problem whenever he comes here. I literally picked up food an hour ago and got old fries. I also got a Big Mac and a Filet O Fish sandwich and got no napkins. Come on man. Not even one? I am comparing this to other McDonalds and not anything else. They have renovated this McDonalds location with modern looking tables and bright colored chairs. Two round tables in the seating area, and an island with multi-colored stools. They also have two Coca Cola soda machines. The food is, well, McDonalds. Same as any other McDonalds around the country. For a McDonalds, 4 stars for its techie look and feel, but deleting one star for the order inside to arrive. Took forever!!! read more
