This McDonald's ice cream machine is ALWAYS down! Im always on the go so drive through it is for me.. today was probably the eight time I try ordering ice cream products in the drive and they say the machine is down. I don't know if they are cleaning it and just don't want to dirty it up again for customers or what, but c'mon! A popular item in your menu and you can't sell it 7/10 times someone wants it? Also, it's only courtesy to make your customers aware your machine is down with some sort of signage so they are not stuck in the drive through line for 15 mins while other customers order, pay and get their order while you are just there for your health of sitting in a car. This week alone, I've been here three times and the machine is up and down, up and down, up and down. They get two stars because honestly, everyone there is nice and courteous, but I'm there for the menu items so, sorry not sorry. read more

Okay it's late and you're hungry, you want to eat now, and it has to be convenient. On top of that, as fast food goes the food at this location is good. Fast food may not always be the healthiest choice but there are times. If you're near this location at one of those times stop in. I think this location is the solution to late night munchies. read more

Just like every other McDonald's, only thing that bothered me is they don't fill the mcflurrys all the way up so you only get 3/4 of what you paid for. I like the machine where you can order yourself for accuracy and speed but miss the human interaction. read more

Had problems in the past but figured I'd give it a go. Food took a little while to get but not horrible. The qualty was good. Hot product. Employees seem like they are finishing a 12hr shift at 11am. The girl at the drive thru was rude!! Really bad communication skills!! She was really rude and instead of asking what kind of drinks i wanted after a few seconds of silence all she say was "which" with a nasty attitude .. I drove to the first window and waited like 4 minutes so since no one was there I drove to the second window after that they asked me to wait in the parking lot until this guy brought my INCOMPLETE order and I could tell he didn't care neither! Had my order messed up 1 in 3 times, the service is okay but most of the time the cashiers seem bored and somewhat unfriendly.

I would rate this McDonald's zero stars if I could. I continue to have problems with this location and today will be the last time I go there. After placing my order in the drive thru, I was asked to wait in the front of the parking lot for my order. When they finally brought my order, it was completely wrong. I gave the girl my receipt and she went back. After I continued to wait, the second order they brought to me was still incorrect. I was missing an item and the guy apologized and said he would run back in. Since I already waited a total of 15 minutes I said forget it and drove off. If you were correcting an order, wouldn't you double check it's right before bringing it back to the costumer? Learn to count! read more

Gets hit with some pretty bad reviews. We are happy they built this one in our little town but it has some really tough growing pains. It's getting better. Much better but not perfect. Stays really busy. Clean inside and out and the staff is friendly and improving. Please keep it up and get the drive thru faster! read more

Horrible experience. First off I need to start out saying I don't frequent McDonalds, I try not to do fast food very often, except for when we're traveling, even then I try and avoid McDonalds! Second I have never been so disappointed in customer service.... The menu clearly stated that a meal was a drink + fries or side salad. So I ordered my meal and the boy at the register couldn't figure out how to change the fries to a salad, he apologized and said they updated their system the previous day. Manager that was there on Sunday came over and said that changing fries out for a side salad "wasn't possible, it's a corporate thing." and just walked away! Doesn't corporate make your signs? It clearly states fries or side salad? That's a corporate thing! Didn't try to correct the situation just wanted to charge me extra for a salad I wanted and fries I didn't want!! The reason for writing my review two days after the fact... My husband went to a McDonalds in Maricopa today and out of spite ordered his meal with a salad instead of fries to see if it was possible... It's totally possible!!! The boy at the register in Maricopa figured it out and it's a brand new store as well!! Never again will I go back to this McDonalds due to the horrible customer service!!! read more

The girl at the drive thru has some serious issues, horrible communications skills and just not friendly at all. Obviously hates her job. Asked if the mcflurry machine was in service and she just said "no" in a very rude and just didn't give a crap attitude. My hubby and I are native Maranans and high school grads from Marana High, so when McDonald's moved into town we were very excited to see this small redneck town finally take a step forward in fast food. Sadly, this particular restaurant has let us down not once, but every time we have been there. First let's take in the parking facilities--terrible! Marana is loaded with horse trailers, big trucks, etc., and this joint gets all the additional traffic off the interstate as well. We attempted to pull into this already packed location for a breakfast with an F350 and 6 horse trailer--impossible! We had to park off the pavement and risk a nail in a tire. Second is their customer service. It's the WORST! Not a smile to be found on any of the three employees at the counter. Third is the food--disgusting! We ordered four sausage McMuffins to go. Not four BURNT McMuffins which were hard as rocks, cheese crumbling off the top like they had played handball with them first, and about as tasteless, dry and as miserable to eat as an Imodium tablet. As we drove down I-10 we wanted to toss them out the window but were afraid we'd break someone's windshield in the process and cause an accident. Forth downfall were the bathroom facilities. Of four portals, only one had toilet paper. As a woman, that can be very inconvenient. Our other, and last incident was lunch--a fish fillet sandwich and a Double Quarter Pounder Cheese Burger, both as meals. Okay, how hard is it to cook this stuff? Really? The fish fillet was still icy cold in the middle, the cheese as well, the dab of tartar sauce was barely visible, and the fries...well, let's just say that even the ranch dressing didn't help. A month ago we had to stop at a McDonald's right off the interstate in Benson, AZ. The service was fabulous, the food HOT and FRESH, and the parking was excellent. If you have an option to go to ANY OTHER McDonald's in Tucson, do so! We can't emphasize that enough. In the meantime, the new Marana restaurant already needs a serious revamping and likely a new Manager capable of checking on their employee's very dour attitudes and crappy chef abilities. Clearly they feel most customers will be on a 'to go' basis and won't have the time to bother turning around and throwing their crummy food back at them while demanding a refund. Big thumbs down!
