Witnessed the manager on duty interacting with a customer with an issue and it was handled professionally and kindly. Ice cream machine worked Bathrooms were clean. Worst company to work for, did not pay for hours workd and made no effort to contact the matter. It's a circus to work for and a shame of a company. Didn't look at reviews before going here If you like to be ignored- go here 3pm in the afternoon I stood in lobby to order for over 5 minutes No other customers inside There were employees on the front register doing something but never acknowledged me at all I counted at least 10 employees in the kitchen some glanced my way 2 women in gray shirts behind the line looked at me and turned away Unbelievable!!! Not the cleanest place in town Quarter pounder was semi warm and the fries were spongy. I don't know whose store this is but they are asleep at the wheel here. I have been to this specific McDonald's about 15 times in the course of 3 years when I'm visiting the Marion area. Every time I have visited the restaurant is clean, staff are very friendly and the food is fresh. Plus they always fill up their fry holders. I hate when I order a large fries and only get a small size amount. I also love that you can get your own soft drink refills. The soda here is the best....nice and strongly carbonated. I've never had a bad experience. I like that there is more seating at this location than the other in Marion.....so this is my preferred location. I will continue to return to This restaurant when I'm in the Marion area. read more

Couldn't leave zero stars. 1 star is utter and complete overkill. Stopped in on the evening of 8/26/19 for iced tea and restroom break. Hand dryers in restroom wouldn't operate, then when getting my tea (self service) the drink station looked as if no one had cleaned it all day. Trash can was overflowing, tea and soda all over every surface, and BOTH of the two sweet tea containers were completely empty. Employees were everywhere, not a one over about 17, I would guess. They were talking loudly across the kitchen and playing/flirting, or just standing around. The entire dining area was a mess. It is amazing how bad this restaurant is. They just don't care. Get people through as quickly as possible with no concern for quality or accuracy of order. Today ordered a quarter pound combo with ketchup and pickles. The repeat of my order included onions which I said no onions. She read it back no onions. Drive through pick up order and says only pickles only ketchup. Think all is good until I get back to office. Inside the box the order says only Ketchup Only Pickles Only sliver onions. You guessed it instead of correcting it just put a new grill slip on outside. To make things worse the bun was stale. French fries were cold and there were enough onions on it for 3 burgers. I filled out the survey and wanted to talk with the manager but the phone number on the receipt says that the voicemail mailbox has not been set up and you cannot leave a message. Not going back if they do not care. There was a time when McDonalds was the industry standard but that is no longer the case. Now take your money and give you crap. Very disappointed read more

The restaurant was not that clean. The staff is rude talking with friends not paying attention to Customers. Also was Served raw Hamburg

Food was cold. No greeting at the drive thru I got a small drink because the person taking my order at the drive thru couldn't ask a size he was just in a hurry. The buns on my burgers were hard. Didn't answer the phone to top it off. read more

The lobby is closed majority of the time cause the staff is too lazy to work on front counter not to mention the manager is so rude she literally just kicked everyone out of the lobby cause she was locking the doors at 9:30 am. This place is the worst place to eat. Always getting the order wrong and if you try to go back in and get it fixed the managers act like it's you that messed it up and it's your fault. The employees are always cussing each other out I have kids how am I suppose to take them to get a happy meal if the environment is so toxic. Went to McDonald's at 600 West Henderson St Marion, NC to pick up an order that my granddaughter placed using the mobile app. After waiting 20 minutes in the assign parking place with no response, we went through the drive thru do to the dinning room being closed for remodeling. We gave the drive through number to the wait staff and was meet with a rude response stating there was no order. When we told her "yes there was and we had already been charged for the order" her response was no there isn't and you will have to take that up with the app. We asked to speak with the store manage, and spoke with a hygienically challenged gentlemen who echoed his rude employees response. there was no attempt to fix or fill the order. We where charged for a meal we did not receive. In case you are wondering the app is ran by the main corporation out of Chicago and we found no resolve with them either. So without using any profanity I will just say we will not be going back to McDonald's and definitely will not be going to either of the ones in Marion NC. The store at 600 west henderson st Marion, NC is known for long waits and messing up orders but this is a first for me. Burger King is across the street and has better service. read more

The reason why I am giving this McDonald's a 0 star is because me and my mom where having a good trip until we went to McDonald's first the lady couldn't hear what you were ordering and she messed up our order then we went to the area where you pick up your food I said for a plain burger with just ketchup and they give me extra pickles and onions then my mom let me have a milkshake then they gave me chocolate milk and the lady taking our order was old who the heck puts a lady that can't hear what your saying and my mom was waiting for her burger they didn't give her a straw so she went in to get her straw and the guy had her burger talking to a kid hello we still need our food so my mom saw the guy and got her straw and burger DONT GO TO THIS MCDONALDS read more

This McDonalds is a mess. They couldnt get an order right if they needed to and they need to. The food no matter whatshift is always unacceptable. Salad yesterday. Was missing half the ingriedients. The chicken bisquit add picle and mayo came without both and the chicken was old and burned on edges while the bisquit was hard as a rock. Who is running this place. read more

I ordered a Sprite with no ice. When I went through to pick up my drink I was given Sprite with ice. I politely asked them to correct their mistake and give me a Sprite without ice. She took the drink back into the window and came back a couple of seconds later.. she said that the 'no ice' button was broken when the ice and soda are kept separately.. I questioned her about that and she said very sarcastically that they are kept together. I know it's McDonalds and they'll hire basically anyone, but they should really keep the rude workers away from the customers. I ended up walking inside and getting it without ice like I originally ordered it. Taking the ice out and refilling it with Sprite was SOOOOO hard. read more

Worst McD's ever! We visit for breakfast primarily, and they almost never get our order 100% correct. Most days we're asked to pull up (and we don't order anything special - they're just usually out of something). We've complained to the management and called corporate about them also. We are told they are working on making it better, but it just never seems to change. Plan to wait in lines (both inside or drive-thru) for-ever and then plan on checking your order to be sure you actually got what you asked for. read more

Lunch experience: the two lane drive thru was stacked 3 to 4 deep in both lanes. Even so, the lines moved quickly. In and out in three minutes. My fries were so hot I could barely touch them at first. My Coke had a nice amount of syrup and my Filet O' Fish was what I expected. A-Okay Mickey D's! read more

Worst McDonald's in Marion NC. I leave for work every morning at 520 am and go get my kids breakfast every time I've had to stop at this McDonald's I have had to wait at the speaker to take my order for more than 5 minutes and there is no ones else in line. By the time I do get my order taken and go to the window it's at least another 5 to 8 minutes before I get my money taken because I can see through the window all that's going on is play and talking. And another experience was that when I was at one speaker waiting to give my order someone else pulls up to the second lane speaker and they get their order first after I had been sitting there already. I hate this McDonald's and will never go back again. I've talked to many others I know that live in Marion NC and they have the same feeling towards this place and we all think it needs shut down or have all new staff.
