This McDonald's is the freaking worse! I hate this place! The people are so rude. They are unprofessional! They never have your order correct and always leave your condiments out. Is a one star I wish I can rate it lower the employees are so rude last time I was there the employee threw a iced coffee in my mom's face

I visit the Marion McDonald's every morning for my caramel iced coffee. I am greeted by name, given verbal details of my order and engaged in conversation. I typically do a mobile order, but on occasion go inside where I have consistently observed a clean and welcoming environment. The table near the counter always has seasonal decor and is tidy. Floors are shiny and it smells/looks clean. I frequently see the older gentleman who works there tending to the sidewalks and parking area to ensure it is clean and presentable. Through my daily visits, I have the honor of meeting several of the team members to include Linda and Ms. Chasity. They make me feel like a valued customer even though I am only spending a few dollars. They know my order, know to look for me around my usual time and always greet me like I am a special part of their day too. They are always willing to make things right should my coffee not be to my liking or they are out of my treasure caramel. They are quick to offer alternatives and truly want to make sure I am happy with my order. In addition to my own coffee, I also get one for my co-worker every workday and we love our "Linda coffee." While McDonald's is a world-wide corporation, my daily interactions with team members and dining experiences with the Marion McDonald's make it another small-town restaurant where locals can count on good service and quality. Every establishment will have its glitches and hiccups, but I value the many team members that have been a consistent part of my day for over 6 months now. In closing, I hope the owners and management at the Marion McDonald's remember that there are just people in the world that cannot be pleased and are going to make complaints. Just because a disgruntled individual makes a claim, does not mean the team member should be terminated. Some circumstances are just teachable moments and learning experiences that help the individual/team grow. Management should consider the history of team members and their work ethics as having a team of workers who take pride in their work and do the best they can is what customers need and appreciate. I look forward to continued greetings and coffee made by Linda with her fun high socks and beautiful smile in addition to Ms. Chasity (when Linda has an occasional day off) and other team members from our local Marion McDonald's. read more

Terrible. Irritated about taking my order. Irritated about getting my drink and salt and pepper. Cashier laughed and told me I was something else after I asked for salt and pepper. I went there recently for a quick snack, with my mom, my dad and my twin bro. We actually went there today as we were going to his 12th birthday place. I ordered a McChicken. My brother also did, as well as a large fry + frozen lemonade. We waited in the parking lot (we had reserved parking for a mobile order we made about 8 mins before arriving) for around 20 minutes, which is totally understandable as I know a lot of fast food employees are overworked. We did not mind waiting. Food was delicious and hot, and nothing missing. No napkins though. I don't blame them for taking a while as it was a BUSY sunday morning (and I mean busy) It's fast food, so I don't know what some people expect - and why some customers are so angry. Terrible service under age employees who have no idea what's going on and roaches and flies all over the food.

My whole order was wrong and when I told them they seemed annoyed about it. Asked for a hot mocha and they gave me an iced one?? Asked for a big breakfast with pancakes and they gave me eggs with 2 sausages?? When I asked for my pancakes they didn't even give me forks or butter or syrup. Worst McDonald's ever! read more

they asked me what id like to order and as soon as I began to speak i was cut off mid sentence and was told that they were actually closed now. White folks are not welcome at this Mcdonald's. On several occasions I have stopped by to get something for breakfast. Ordering was ok but when I get to the drive thru window the cashier is very rude. I see her talking normally to the black people in front of me but when I get there the attitude changes. I always tell people good morning but with these people you get a dirty look and the window slammed in your face.i wouldn't put it past them to spit on my food or even worse.i don't trust them and I will never go there again. read more

If I could give this so-called restaurant no stars, I would. The food is terrible. The service is slow. - whenever I order french fries, they are cold and the french fry package is never full. They only fill the French fries halfway. -when we order burgers, the burgers are never neatly put together. There if usually more cheese on the paper or the box than on the burger. - there is never enough hot fudge or caramel on the sundaes. And the cups are never full. Honestly, how can you mess up McDonald's food? And, how is this place still in business? Even when I am the only car in the drive-through, I still wait over 10 minutes for my food. I don't understand this, since the food is always cold. If you do not live in Marion, keep driving. Find another McDonald's. Let this McDonald's die a slow death. read more

Food is absolutely horribble...no hello how are you doing when you get to the window...never ever have I gotten have a nice Day...Went 2 days ago was told to pull up and wait had to cook my ham.. well the person behind me had to pull up also...Well they come out with the food the guy behind me gets his first, I should have gotten mine well about 10 minutes later they bring mine out its the wrong order so I go inside by this time I'm Ill I just get my money back and they can keep the food..then they want to get an attitude..Really need some better Manengement up there.... read more

Horrible service - you will wait forever inside or drive thru. Seriously the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. Better double check your food when you get it - it's usually wrong. Worst McDonald's ever. It has roaches crawling around on the front counter during lunch. I trashed what I bought and got out of there as fast as I could. I notified McDonald's and they sent me $5 worth of coupons. I also mentioned this to a friend and she said she had stopped eating there Months back as she found cooked maggots on her burger. I took my grand son's to The Marion McDonald's last night 10/31/18 Halloween. I literally thought someone was playing a trick on me. We waited in line at the drive through for 1 hour and still did not get any food. I was boxed in for 45 minutes in the inside order lane. I could not go up back and because of the outside order lane I could not go over. I was literally one car away from paying for my food after waiting for an hour in the line and I drove off and went to the Wendy's down the street and got my food in 5 minutes. If it weren't for my grand son's being in the car and telling me they wanted McDonald's I would have never waited that long. You can't justify why you would have to wait in a drive through line for 15 minutes let alone an hour. There is absolutely nothing inside of the restaurant that takes that long to prepare. There were 3 cars ahead of me when I left and went to Wendy's and when I went back past the McDonald's the cars in line had not moved. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!! read more

Legitimately the worlds worst McDonalds! We took our two kids ages 1 and 2 and they wouldn't even eat the food. The employees took 40 minutes to make our food and when we ordered, the cashier said the receipt wouldn't print out. So when they finally asked my husband what he was waiting for he said "our entire meal." They wanted to see the receipt which of course they didn't give him. The chicken nuggets were undercooked and the breeding on the inside was mushy. Thankfully my daughter spit it out. My son who usually devours cheeseburgers took a bite and wouldn't eat anymore. Don't eat here unless you absolutely have to. I had no idea a McDonalds could be this bad. We weren't the only ones who waited either. read more
