I cannot even believe I waited as long as I did for ANY food, let alone McDonald's. Last night was the worst fast food experience I've ever had. My friend and I got in the drive-thru line at 10:17 pm, when we got blocked in the line by cars behind us. There were probably 30 cars that pulled up and left because they were waiting too long. My friend got out of the car to order inside. There were probably 5-9 people in line, and she waited for over 45 minutes just to order her food as I was still stuck in the drive-thru by other cars behind me. Finally the person behind me bailed and I was able to reverse out, with the 3 cars in front of me doing the same. It was 11:29 pm at this point; over an hour without even getting to the order window. I parked and went inside to join my friend who had just ordered and paid. The orders that were being filled for other people kept coming out wrong or incomplete and had to be redone. It wasn't just one order, something was either missing or incorrect in every order that was filled. People who were ordering from the touch machines went up to the counter to ask where their food was and they were told that their order couldn't be filled because "we don't have that" or "that machine is broken right now". Even worse, the woman making the food in the back was chewing on something, her mouth was completely full. She wiped the counter with a rag and threw it across the room on the floor. All said and done, we got our food at 12:23 am. Two hours and six minutes waiting at a McDonalds. I'm the fool for not leaving. The food (no surprise) was sitting on the hot table forever waiting to be put into bags so it was cold and chewy by the time we got it, so I didn't even end up eating any. The person in front of me from the drive-thru window pulled up to the window about 5 minutes before we got our food, so the drive-thru line was waiting equally as long. Just a terrible experience. (The woman working there with the red hair was very sweet and had a great attitude, unlike the woman with the shaved head who was just snapping at people when they said their order was incorrect.) read more

I've stopped here before and it's usually pretty solid but I don't know what happened today. It was extremely busy and very slow. I skipped inside because the drive thru seemed faster. It wasn't. It turned out to be the slowest drive thru. I mean, the lady in the car behind me jumped out of line and left. This particular McDonald's is a running joke in our family. We stop there from time to time after leaving Kings Island. We stopped there 5 times last year and was successfully about to get a shake once. This year we are 0/2 so far. Generally staff is rude. Never bother posting signs. read more

Went to this McDonald's at 11:40 and all the doors were locked even though the door says the dining room closes at 2am. There were even people still dining inside and the employees had to unlock the door for them to get out. A lot of others tried the door and were left locked out. read more

We quickly wanted food on our way out of town. We ordered meals by saying the number like McDonald's people are trained to do. We only received our entrees. Plan on spending as much time waiting on your food via Drive-thru or Inside as you would for a brand new premier rollercoaster debut at Kings Island or standing in line trying to get front row seats at the Western & Southern tennis match! Wooooowser!!! Drive through was 2 cars side by side wrapped around the building. Inside looked less scary until you see what is going on......when you have orders coming from 1. Drive-thru 2. Online, 3. With an actual human & 4. Several order kiosks. (This was my pick). After waiting in the pick up coral for 20 minutes I had to walk up and say please tell me if this is ready or please let me have my money back. Manager was nice and said let me check. She was looking at a screen that had to have more information than an air traffic controller, she said it's coming right up...another 10 minutes past and we finally got our 2 sandwiches & 2 ice coffees........... Hope you are never in a rush. With only one person at the registers during a high rush period don't anticipate having anything in your stomach for quite a bit of time. This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the severe lack of available food. Fries not ready for orders, machines down, and other items not available. Tbh the foot tasted fine. It was the attitude displayed by the workers that I find to be unsatisfactory. The girl as the front was exclaiming that the food a customer ordered was nasty. She exclaimed this multiple times, letting it be know that the food was gross. I get it, you work at McDonald's. You're young and uneducated. Weather this is a summer job or not. You should give your all. If not you shouldn't work there. People don't like to be disrespected. Especially by people that are servicing them. If you have a issue with foot choice keep it to your self. Also the other employees where just as bad complaining about said food items. Is it so difficult to keep quiet? Went to this McDonald's around 11 AM. Placed my order through the drive thru and had to wait 20-25 minutes sitting in line for one breakfast sandwich and a drink! First window I pulled up to, employee didn't apologize at all. I asked her what was going on and she said they didn't have enough employees to make food. Super convenient as this is the week of the Tennis Tournament. I go to the second window they hand me a bag with the wrong sandwich and ask me to go to the next third window. I wait another 5 minutes and I'm finally handed my correct sandwich but then I had to tell them nobody gave me my drink. Finally got my drink and after interacting with three employees nobody apologized nor acted sorry whatsoever. Avoid this McDonalds like the plaque. Rude lady in drive through wouldn't give me her name. I had to go inside to get it. She continued to be rude. She said she wouldn't give me her name because she wasn't rude and I didn't need it. Still refused to give it to me inside the store. She said "You don't want to see me get angry." Ended up having to talk to the manager to get her name. I explained to him what happened. He didn't even apologize and said is there something else I can help you with after he gave me her name. In other words, this conversation is over. Supposedly her name is Brenda. Ah, the venerable Kings Island McDonald's. What's it like right now? A pile of rubble I hear... They've demolished the popular eatery closest to the amusement park, and will rebuild it. I've thought of this McD's as a decent location, often busy because of its location (due in part to high food/drink prices inside KI), with decent service. I thought the interior was looking kinda crappy, even with- no, especially due to - an early 2000s renovation. Hopefully this one will look pretty nice, though I'm sure it will be as touristy as ever. read more

We went to this McDonalds on 10/28/19. Ordered at the kiosk. The place was a mess. Drinks were spilled everywhere by the drink station. The floor was so sticky and puddles of drinks were everywhere. There was mud on the floor. None of the ketchup dispensers worked. The workers didn't say two words to us the entire time. It took forever to get our food. When they brought it out didn't say a word just dropped it on the table. I went to comment about the mess of drink puddles and they just stared at me didn't even say a word. I went here last Sunday after Church to get the fish special... 2 for 4 bucks. My wife order 4 total fish.. Told them to fry them fresh that we would wait. It was about 1245pm.. So when we got them they where old and cold. Took them back to the young manager.. He said that he would have them redone. about 10 min. later he brought us the new fish. Guess what ? They where again old and cold very very yecky. Took them back again and got my money back... So they through away 8 fish. Wow. Ask the manager what the problem is.. He admitted he had no control of his cooks... WOW... This Mc Donald's has great food durning the week days when the adults work... But I would stay away weekends and most evening when thing seem not to go well.. At these times they cook ahead so they have more play time in the back. Probably the worst Mickey D's in the state of Ohio. Convenient & open late (while options are limited in this area), I took my 3 year old daughter through the drive thru to get some dinner for her dad after an evening at King's Island. No matter what time of day you go, or how many cars are in line at the drive thru, be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes for your food. There were 2 cars in front of me. Only 2. I orered 1 meal. I repeat: 1 meal. After waiting to pay at the first window for 10 minutes, I arrived at the second window with a confused group of employees scurrying around trying to find orders. After they took my receipt to see what I ordered (as if I ordered a buffet), they gave me the drink that came with my meal and the manager told me to pull forward into a drive thu waiting space. I did so, then watched as 6 cars that were behind me got their food and drove away. 15 minutes later, I unstrapped my daughter from her carseat and went into the restaurant to get the food. I explained the situation and someone quickly grabbed my order and said, "sorry about that." No refund, nothing extra for free offered. Horrible, horrible customer service. I will never be back. Got to the store at 10:05pm, got home at 10:45 (I live 5 mins away). This is beyond unacceptable. read more

Not very clean....completely empty and every table was dirty....fruit flies everywhere :( So much so that I asked for packages of ketchup instead of the dispenser which was where the flies were coming from.
