Very clean location, I never eat fast food anymore, but this place made me feel like they weren't spitting in my food.

As far as McDonald's goes, this one is pretty good, and when I'm in the mood for Mickey D's, you'll find me here. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and the food always comes as-expected. The only thing I don't like about this location is that there is a TV in the establishment that is always on Fox News. Luckily, that's not enough to keep me from going. read more

I stopped for a cup of coffee and a snack and let me tell you this was a wrong idea, cashier didn't get order right cuz to damn slow for early shift, called up the manager about getting a refund and this guy have no skills about customer service, he was rude and unprofessional about management. McDonald's - Burgers Near Me - Menlo Park, California

This is a clean and well-run McDonalds. I usually drive-through and they usually get it right. Although... They have gotten my nugget sauce wrong on several occasions. This seems to be a problem with a lot of McDonald's. I think it's because I like the HOT Mustard sauce which, I take it, is not very popular, and gets mixed up with the Honey Mustard sauce. I used to LOVE their McNuggets before they changed over to all white meat (ugh). Nowadays, I still get them but only because of the HOT MUSTARD sauce. So, McDonald's, please train your folks to not assume that everyone wants that nasty honey mustard. Give me a "Hell, Ya!" if you like HOT Mustard sauce! Am I the only one? read more

Very small lobby area to pay for and pick up food makes it feel a bit crowded and inconvenient during peak times. The eggs in our egg mcmuffins were more rubbery than usual too. Also had to keep asking the employee at the order pickup for things (like ketchup) that she should have offered or included automatically. read more

Horrible service! Save yourself and go anywhere else. Foul, dirty restaurant. Not at all up to McDonald's standards. The fancy soft drink machine was not working, and an employee kept doing the same things to try to fix it. We begged the manager to give us ice, but she came out from behind the counter to try the machine anyway. She seemed very dismissive and said the gentleman coworker was fixing it. I went to this location since it was close to where I was working in Menlo Park and it wasn't a great visit. I got the grilled chicken sandwich value meal and it was possibly one of my worst sandwiches I have from any McDonald's. While biting into it after my third bite I found chicken pieces that couldn't be chewed (like rubber) and I found some more in a few more bites after that. Other comments have mentioned service and how they're slow and they were at getting your food out during a lunch rush. After my lunch I went to purchase something else and there were some teenage boys behind laughing like crazy, saying nasty stuff, and one of them went up to the manager and said it but she didn't understand his so she ignored them I haven't been back there since and I go the another location even though the ratings are lower but the environment is better. read more

Lots of transients here. Allowed by management. Had to intervene on a confrontation between an aggressive homeless guy and an old lady once. Police were called. What fun for my kids! Some transients spread all their dirty belongings all over the table - one had a loud TV blaring. Notice to management and owners fall on deaf ears. If you like the ambiance of a homeless shelter, this is your place. read more

Okay Ive had it with their stale fries. Every time I get a meal it's with stale fries. If ima eat something unhealthy it better taste good. The staff say that they know what they're doing when food barely comes out and the orders comes out of order. 6/1/2016 I went here today on my lunch break, when I got to the register, there was a handwritten sign that read "no sodas today", so I ask the clerk for a value meal and she said there are no sodas but you can have coffee, tea, oj, apple juice or water, so I ask for oj, they charge me the meal price and plus the oj, so I ask the Hispanic clerk, "Are you charging me for a whole meal that has no working soda machine plus the oj separate?" The Hispanic clerk was raising her voice and upset with me because I question the amount I'm paying, so I ask for my money back, she did return my money and she practically threw the money in my hand, and she started asking the next person for the order, I had to tell her that I didn't place a correct order yet, the clerk was very upset with me, So I ask her again "Why are you charging for a whole value meal when there is no sodas, and if you order other drink you will be billed again, this is not right" the mcdonalds Hispanic clerk was very rude. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, she is the wrong person to work at the register. I will have to go elsewhere. read more

I mean...McDonald's is McDonald's. Let's not kid ourselves. I think this McD's facies itself a kind of boutique McDonald's, with black and white photographs and upholstered booths. The boutique stops there, though; expect your reliable faves on the menu. I frequent this McDonald's but I can't say I enjoy coming here. Often times it is closed by 10:40 even when the closing time is 11pm on the door. Ive had experiences where the cashier did not know how to authorize credit card purchases so they canceled my order. This is my favorite McDonald's close to my home. Yes, I'm an expert when it comes to all the McDonald's restaurants in Palo Alto, EPA, Menlo Park, and Mountain View, and this is the best. I like to come here in the morning for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays, and this place is always fast, not too crowded, and clean. Wow. This McDonald's is one of the worst McDonald's we have ever been to. First, no drive through. Second, one way in and out for cars and guests. Third, you pour your own drinks and several options were unavailable. Fourth, they had no regular straws. What's up with these coffee straws anyhow?? My rating is for the service I receive at this McDonald's since the food at McDonald's is the same at every location. I normally go at lunch time and the people there are very friendly and efficient. They took forever to make our 3 drinks and they were under staffed. People that worked here didn't have the expertise to be working at mc Donald's, they didn't have the ingredients to make our drinks and they didn't tell us they just kept in working on other peoples while we were her before them. Awful service. Ordered an apple pie and a minute after an employee told me that they ran out of apple pie and offered strawberry pie or a apple juice or a cookie in exchanged. Then offered to wait for 15 minutes to get apple pie. When waiting employees speaking in Spanish made fun of customer who wanted to wait for 15 minutes for the apple pie! This is the worst MacDonalds I've ever eaten in. There is a huge TV on the wall constantly blaring FOX News so loud you can't talk to others in the booth. Two times when my wife and I took our grandkids there, the owner was transfixed in front of the tube nodding in approval at all the right wing crap Fox was putting out. The staff here are all really awesome - very friendly and nice! They treat everyone with a great deal of respect, even the really rude and demanding customers. They also let you know if it will take them more than a few minutes to fill an order. The food here is the same as any McDonalds, but the service here really shines.
