Plenty of parking as I pulled in.placed my order for a fish and shrimp platter with sides of Cole slaw and fries.food came out quickly and was instantly disappointed. Portions were small for the money I paid.was expecting fish filets but instead received 3 or 4 small nuggets. Shrimp was ok if you like rubbery. Atleast the soda was ok.for the price I paid it was a terrible value and I won't be back.

Great food and would do well even if there were more places to compete with. All the charm of a really good mom and pop restaurant

The bbq was pretty good. The mashed potatoes were instant flakes. The service was very friendly.

The food here has potential, but the service completely ruined our first experience…read more I believe our server was Ava although she never properly introduced herself she was inattentive didn't seem very knowledgeable, and most importantly avoided our table after our food was delivered. When we asked about certain items on the menu, she would say she wouldn't recommend them which makes you almost not even wanna eat at the restaurant. I ordered eggs fried hard with no runny yolk, but they still came out with the yolk. Still running instead of checking on us she disappeared. We received no drink refills. No follow up whatsoever. I eventually had to get up. Take my food to the counter myself and ask someone else to fix the issue even after she never came back to see if everything was OK. The frustrating part is that the restaurant was only about a third floor. There was no reason for such a complete lack of attention. Seeing staff focused on rolling silverware, checking phones, while customers were being ignored made the experience even worse. The pancakes and bacon were excellent, but the grits were very clumpy and inconsistent. I rate the food seven out of 10. Our bill is nearly $100 and they were plenty opportunities to turn this into the first experience unfortunately service made us decide to take our business elsewhere and we definitely wanted to order so many more items seeing that this is only our first time here. Bottom line, the food is worth trying, but I recommend takeout over dine in great food can't make it for poor customer service.

Decor is very nice, the use of pallets to hang lights, colorful chalk menu highlighting the summer drinks, photos highlighting collaborations with local farms. BATHROOMS: very clean, multiple large single stall units FOOD: they had a good selection of food. I think how full you get depends on what you order. I ordered a half sandwich and half soup combo. It was a thicc bread with two pieces of ham and a tomato, 1 slice of guyere. The soup was in a tiny ramikin, with 1 tiny baggie of crackers. My husband ordered a breakfast combo that included a full sized waffle, scrambled eggs, and two chicken apple sausage patties. On the side, we each ordered "million dollar bacon" which was essentially 4 slices of sugared bacon with some sort of drizzle sauce. They were delicious, but not $6 dollar and some change worth for 4 pieces of bacon.. I was a little interested in their honey biscuits they were promoting but I didn't want to spend any more money. The morning meditation drink and kale tonic were delicious. THE BILL: we were told to scan the QR code to pay, but he had come here the previous day with his company after PT as a bonding thing, and found out the QR code doesn't work. For the two of us, the bill was almost $65 and I left hungry. VERDICT: I don't know if I'd come here again, but if I did, I'd definitely choose something else to eat to make sure I'm full.

After we ordered, we chose to eat inside. This places gets a lot of foot traffic and is definitely a local fav! Unfortunately, for us, only the chicken tasted like it had some good flavor to it, everything else looked good, but was missing something. I'd still go back and try again, there seems to be a rotating menu. I will say that the chicken is delicious! It has to be their specialty. We tried almost every available chicken options the day we went except for the baked version. For two plates and two drinks, we paid about $35. And they were not light on the portions! The grits, which are surprisingly hard to get right, might be the best I've ever had. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the biscuit was soft and fresh, and there was more than enough for both of us to share. The vibes here are like having breakfast at your favorite auntie's house--warm, relaxed, and full of love. There's even a TV in the corner with gentle background noise, which somehow just completes the whole experience. Our server was so kind and patient, taking time to explain the options and make us feel welcome. This place is a true community treasure--thoughtfully run, consistently delicious, and full of heart.
