Typical McDonald's fast food; however, the design and management can be improved. The twin drive through was very slow. It was so slow on car pulled over and walked in before we moved. At noon both windows should be open with at least two employees. On a positive note, the young lady taking the orders was polite and capable. Another negative was that the drive through line blocks the handicapped spaces, poor design for a newer store. Staff seemed in flux. The window would often be abandoned; then three employees would briefly appear behind glass then vanish. To give this context. I wrote this review at this window. There is room for improvement. Some might ask why a score of three stars after the above note? My first job was at a McDonalds. I am very sympathetic to any worker in this industry. That said, do your best. I held of on this review hoping after a number of stops I would see improvement or a exceptional performance by an employee. So far no luck, but as they are on my route, I hold out hope. This gem of, though perpetually understaffed and ironically not so fast since the great plague of whenever that happened, lines around the corner wrapped c. 8-9pm, manages to achieve the unthinkable: consistent and near accurate order fulfillment and meals impossibly so picturesque, they put the glossy studio prevarications to shame. It's as if the lesser fast-food demigods (or demons?) themselves have blessed this establishment with their unusually competence inducing glance. We pulled up to the first window and the man was nice there. Then when we pulled up to the second window the lady kept rolling her eyes at us and was ignoring us. Then she gives us a cup of water when we asked for a bottle. So then we asked for one very nicely before we got our bag and she sighed and grabbed it and handed it to us rudely.so then she just put the fries in upside down and forgot one of the nuggets in the ten piece. Establishment is the cleanest I've seen in a McDonalds. Fries were served hot and fresh. The nuggets and burgers were consistent with other locations. Chicken tenders were overcooked and very dry. The night manager here needs to be FIRED. The last two times I've been to this Mcdonald's, the manager has been incredibly unprofessional. The first time, she was behind the counter berating her employees. Yelling about how "No one knows how to do their f*****g jobs!" "Everyone who works here are f*****g idiots." One of the employees was trying to talk to her and find out what she did wrong and the manager told her to "get the f**k away from me!" Last night, my family and I are in the drive thru and we start hearing two employees yelling and screaming at each other, dropping F-bombs every other word. Then we see the manager come out, she starts yelling and screaming at both employees, also dropping F-bombs. Mind you, the drive thru is full of cars so you know everyone waiting in line for their food has to listen to this garbage - I wouldn't be surprised if there were children listening to this crap. The employees in the restaurant are talking about it and the young lady working the drive thru actually apologized for what was going on.. I don't know what their issues are, but keep it private. If I owned this store, or was the general manager, I would be mortified. All of the employees involved in last night's altercation need to be fired. I think we've all been to a few McDonald's in our time. This one is definitely up there with being the cream of the crop. Place actually looks slightly fancy for a fast food joint. (Minus a GIGANTIC mural on the booth near where you order, consisting of Ronald's face screaming in twisted pleasure of potential feasting on the flesh of the innocent.) Staff was friendly and nice, and even ALMOST resembled the staff from the commercials. I mean this is the only McDonald's in Middleboro and its a very nice town in general so nothing shady going on here. Very clean too. Foreign girl taking orders might even be DTF who knows?! The worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. They hire young people who would rather argue with customers than do their job and the district manager isn't bright at all. How does a common customer complaint over a mistake turn into anything but the person in charge saying sorry? Customers aren't showing up to give you a hard time. They want to pay the price they agreed for the food, eat, and go on with their day. If your managers do their job right, there's no reason for a customer to leave displeased. Teach your management some basic customer service skills to avoid losing customers. We all had to use it in our jobs to keep them even when dealing with displeased customers, except this place where they have no standards for their employees. We said we are running late and will get our money back they told us it'll take 2 mins they are waiting on the burger if we want to pull up. 8 mins later someone comes out with no food and tells us it'll be 2 mins on the tenders. 15 mins after ordering in the drive thru and still no food so we went in and got a refund and left.
