We really enjoyed our visit! We got the Quinnie, which was really good, although it can be a little too sweet depending on your taste. I also got the OG sandwich that came on a bagel, and it was really good with the right amount of food for the portion. The inside is super cute with a cozy, rustic feel that makes it a nice spot to relax. They also offer Wi-Fi and have a public restroom, which is always a plus. The food options are pretty limited, with just a small cabinet of pastries and a few sandwich options, so don't expect a full food menu. One thing to keep in mind is that parking can be really tough on weekends because it gets very busy. This cafe is the perfect stop if you find yourself on the south shore or if you're heading to the Cape. I drove to Society coffee bar and was able to try their eggnog latte this holiday season. This is a great coffee bar to meet up with a friend or get some productive work done on a laptop. I would even come here to read a book. The vibes of this cafe match a wellness girl aesthetic with the low lighting, latte options, and atmosphere. In addition to the inside atmosphere, there is a lot of parking in a parking lot, and there is a handicap accessible ramp going up to the door. For the food/drink, the eggnog latte I had was cut with almond milk, which I feel made the difference it needed. It balanced the thickness of an eggnog consistency with the coffee and the rest of the drink. I would definitely rate this latte a 9/10. read more

I love Society! Their coffee and food are always delicious and on point, especially the Quinny. Service is always friendly and fairly quick and the inside is comfortable and inviting. The only downsides are parking is not great (parking lot gets full quickly and on a busy road) and the prices are a little high. Over $6 for a single very average cookie is a little outrageous. I've never had a bad experience with this place, whether the NB site or Most often the Somerset Site! Today, was completely different I ordered a turkey chicken pesto sandwich on sourdough. Mind you it's a 10$ sandwich. The sourdough was more like plain white bread and the Turkey was actually turkey loaf.Absolutely discusting. I was so disappointed..It was just slapped on so one side of the sandwich that was cute had no turkey on it at all. I'm not sure if this is how they normaly make a 10$ sandwich but this was actually unexceptable. read more

Creative flavors (including a Girl Scout Samoa cookie flavored latte, which I got), there's also teas on the menu and bakery items. Second- it's super cute inside! Been coming here for about a year. Always enjoy. My favorite latte is the Kentucky Straight-made with a bourbon caramel. It's a beautiful, clean and consistent cafe. The only con for me is that it's got so few seats so it'd be difficult to work/read in there especially on the weekend. But their Somerset location has plenty of seating and is even more beautiful and has a drive thru. Love it! read more

Honestly pretty bummed I waited so long to go! This place is beautiful in the inside and the customer service is great. Wasn't sure what to get so I ordered a drink I saw from a previous yelper: A large Iced mocha cinnamon bon latte with oat milk. I originally asked for a medium but they don't carry that size- weird, I know. So instead, I opted for a large after being easily persuaded from a small. The drink was delicious. Will for sure be coming back to try other lattes. I also ordered a warmed ham& cheese croissant which was a disappointment. It tasted fine but it was super thin and just not worth buying again. What are people drinking here that they find enjoyable? I live next door since they opened and been here three times. First time got a chocolate latte. It tasted like straight up chocolate milk I would make at home. No coffee flavor or anything. But that's forgivable with chocolate. Second time got crème brûlée latte and it had a weird sour flavor. I figured I must have just picked a weird flavor. Last time got a cold brew , which is normally a smooth coffee flavor, with caramel and a bit of almond milk. Can't go wrong here right? X NO WRONG. It had the strangest most sour fake flavor. No hint of caramel at all. I don't know what kind of flavor they use but it's horrible. I had to toss it and go elsewhere and spend another 6 bucks. Even after I dumped my expensive pro-biotics in it. (Yeah it had that flavor before I did that. I thought I could stomach it because I needed the caffeine but I couldn't) Sure go here if you want to look cool but I would toss the coffee out after. On another note the food looks good. read more

Absolutely fantastic!! We've driven by a several times while visiting family and always said we needed to try this place since it looked super cute from the outside. Finally got a chance to visit today and we found it to be such a great spot!! First things first, the drinks were amazing!! We ordered a Vanilla chai latte with oat milk and a Kentucky straight. The chai was probably one of my favorites ever and the Kentucky straight had a very unique bourbon and caramel flavor. We also ordered a Coffee cake cupcake and it was just delicious! Highly recommend trying out the cupcakes although we were told they are only available on the weekends. Every employee we encountered was extremely welcoming and friendly and it made our experience that much better. Their interior is beautiful with aesthetic decor which makes for a classy vibe. Not impressed. My Daughter lives by here and raves about it. (Doesn't go often because it's completely overpriced). Coffee was no better than a dunkies and the croissant I got looked panini grilled. I have been to the Somerset location three times since it has opened and I have been disappointed each time. The first time I went was opening weekend, I ordered a vanilla latte and a toasted bagel w/ cream cheese. The bagel was not toasted as I had requested. I let it slide and decided I would try it again. Mistakes happen, I get it. The second time I decided to go was the following week and again, left disappointed. I ordered a latte and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was once again not toasted and they did not give me any cream cheese. So I turned around and asked them for cream cheese and a knife, since they also forgot the knife the first time, and they gave me the cream cheese and STILL forgot the knife. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because they just opened this new location and the staff are all new. Then I went this morning, ordered a vanilla latte with Oat milk and cinnamon on top, and they forgot the vanilla. I know this does not seem like a big deal, but when I am paying over $6 for a coffee and I have been looking forward to this coffee since last week, I am not happy. I easily spend $12 on a bagel and a coffee from here and to just not have it correct each time I have gone is just not a great experience. I will say, whenever I visit the location in Taunton, they get it right EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Which is why I had such high hopes for Somerset. Plus, Somerset is so much closer to where I live. But, I will happily drive the 40 min to Taunton to avoid being disappointed at the Somerset location again. read more

Been a few times. Great coffee spot. I've tried both the dark roast and medium. Very smooth. I had the custard pastry and the linguica and cheese roll. Both were fantastic. I liked the roll in the microwave for about 20 secs instead of pressed. I do wish they were open later cause it would be a great spot togo for a night time coffee. No decaf espresso. Yes, you read that correctly: NO DECAF ESPRESSO. I have never in my life been to a "coffee bar" that did not serve decaf forms of all their drinks. My wife loves coffee and can not drink caffeine. We heard about this place on Chronicle (Channel 5 TV show) and thought we would check it out. Its nice looking, easy to get to location but thats about it. Second, let me say that the place is extremely loud due to the bad acoustics which cause all conversations to echo. We couldn't stay due to this factor. Third, the pastries looked delightful but $4.25 for a single donut that is 3/4 the size of a dunkin donut?! Nope. The fourth and worst thing I saw was the barista was pulling espresso shots and putting them all on the back bar ahead of time so when people came in they can just pour them into the cup. This is a very, very, VERY stupid practice. Coffee needs to be ground immediately before brewing and the espresso needs to be at a specific temperature and should not be sitting on a counter waiting for a customer to order a drink. There are far too many better options available for expensive, specialty coffee. read more

Thought I'd come by and order a coffee but one gentleman was already ahead of me waiting for his coffee. From the time I paid to putting it in my hand it was six minutes. In that time two other people came in ordered and left with their order. The girl was working by herself which seemed odd because two other gentlemen were standing around doing nothing. Until the last minute when one of the gentlemen helped but the other man still did nothing. Which I would assume is the owner or manager. The coffee is delicious but 6 minutes for a coffee? Not good. The service was good. Staff was friendly and patient. The building was nice, and everything was clean. But the food was a hate crime. Honestly, it should be illegal to call a bread roll a bagel and toast something you actually have to put it in the toaster and turn it on, not just place it next to the toaster. Finally a great non-chain coffee shop in the area. The Quinny is a more coffee-centric version of the chippi from Mirasol's (I prefer the quinny 100x over). Also had a mocha and a cinnamon bun latte all of which have been amazing. Their bacon egg and cheese is legit the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. My fiancé and I drove the 28 minutes from Fall River to try this place today and to be honest it was well worth it! The coffee tasted great and was a perfect pick me up. I got a caramel latte and my fiancé got the Kentucky straight latte. Both we ridiculously good. We didn't need to add any sweetener, it was perfectly made. We also ordered a Quinny just because we felt we had to try it and again we were not disappointed. Next time we might add a little more coffee but it's a great sweet little pick me up just the way it is. For food I got the linguiça and cheese roll that was pressed and wormed perfectly. It was so good, if I wasn't so full I would have got another one. My fiancé had a plain bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was toasted perfectly, tasted fresh and the cream cheese was really yummy. We also got the churro donuts bc how could you not. The are 4.25 each and very dense. The were yummy if you like cake-like donuts but we probably wouldn't pay 4.25 for one again. The place was very busy but the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. We did have to clean our own table but no biggie, just figured I'd mention so someone who does care won't be surprised on a busy day at the coffee shop. Unless you enjoy poor quality overpriced coffee then I would suggest you avoid this coffee bar. The owners thought it would be a good idea to combine a coffee bar with lounge/nightclub and ended up with bad coffee served in a lounge that can hardly fit more than a few people. read more
