I've been here twice now! Both times the experiences have been wonderful. The staff here is super friendly and goes above and beyond each time! I'm so impressed! The place is adorable! Have driven by many times after closing (open 6am to 3 pm) with the intention of stopping in. Today was the day! Street parking was easy in Middleboro Center. The space is much larger than it appears from the street! Adorable sitting area to the left with comfy leather couches--counter and booths/tables to the right. Staff is super friendly and helpful. If you like coffee, there are a bazillion choices. My English breakfast tea latte was perfection. The 2-way egg breakfast was actually too much food! 2 sausage links would have been plenty! I loved the home fries--well seasoned, crispy yet tender. My friend snarfed her grilled cranberry muffin before I could photograph it properly. The muffins are HUGE and feature some yummy flavors (Sheila's Shameless Muffins). They do have lunch options, frappes & smoothies. I'll be back for sure! read more

First things first, the staff is wonderful. Always smiling and very courteous. The place is very clean and it's a comfortable setting. The coffee!!!! Wow! Got a hazelnut cappuccino that was out of this world. And the muffins and pastry are really good too! It was only our second visit, but we will be returning very soon. read more

I was so excited to try Cafe Milano. I've been meaning to go for a while. I stopped by around noon on a busy Sunday to grab a latte. I asked the employee waiting on me to add a flavored cold foam to my drink, and she paused for an awkwardly long time. Then, she said they couldn't do that because they would have to make it from scratch. I was confused by this because it is on the menu, but I said: no problem is there any cold foam I could add that would be easier? Then, she paused again. She made me feel so uncomfortable for asking for an item on the menu. She made me feel like it was a problem. So, I politely said never mind. She then said no, we can do it. The whole exchange was very unfriendly, and I left there feeling like don't want to go back. I was embarrassed for asking for a simple thing on the menu because of her reaction that it was a problem. Great ambiance, decor, seating, and even better muffins! I tried the coffee and it was too sweet for my liking, but the chocolate chip and apple cinnamon roll muffins were out of this world and well worth the drive we took to get here. Coffee Milano honestly a pretty cozy spot right in middleboro center, the atmosphere is great with very friendly service, staff was great. You come right in grab a menu and order at the counter for either take in or takeout. Food was great, I personally order a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel with hasbrowns, which comes with 2 hash brown patties btw. The egg for me personally was a little overwhelming with the flavor so I took it out and enjoyed it with 1 of my hasbrowns the other I put on my sandwhich. The coffee that I got was amazing, it was made right the way I like it, and I highly recommend their cold brew, all around great experience on a nice Wednesday morning. read more

I witnessed a young couple order a vanilla milkshake and get a coffee milkshake in error. They asked politely for the remake and got a b***h attitude from 'Sheila'. FFS just don't be a total hag. Never have seen such condescending and outright hostility to a customer. When so many places are struggling to make a go of it, this woman overtly acted like an abhorrent child having tantrum. Perhaps she made a vanilla milkshake... but perhaps they need to clean their blenders once in a while as well. read more

The food is good, fairly priced, and tastes homemade. The coffee could be better, it's definitely not as refined as some other coffee shops. They recently did a revamp of the interior and the ambience is improving, starting to feel more cozy, just a bit tacky and outdated in my opinion. I would give 4 stars if it wasn't for how slow the service is. It is painfully slow. I've stopped in 3-5 times and every time it takes 30-45 for a breakfast sandwich and a bagel. I live nearby and I would be here constantly if the service was quicker, but who has time to wait that long in the morning? I think it would really help if they could somehow make a counter express area and let people know what options they can make quickly. Maybe separate into two kitchen areas. I would love to frequent more often and support local but it's hard when the other places are much faster. read more

Ordered eggs Benedict with a caramel macchiato. Eggs Benedict's is usually a poached egg served on 2 slices of English muffin covered with a hollandaise sauce not eggs over easy covered with the sauce. A macchiato is usually expresso with steamed milk not regular coffee with regular milk. If your are advertising a menu item serve said menu item please. Mediocre take out food at full service prices. I ordered pancakes here to eat in. It took almost half an hour to get them. They were generous in size but mediocre in taste. The tiny container of syrup served with it was about 1/10 the amount needed and none was available at the table. Same for sugar for coffee. You have to ask for packets of sugar. For what they are charging for this, you should get all you want. I was very disappointed since options in Middleboro are limited. read more

Don't order online! Great food and coffee but I ordered pick up, waited my half an hour, and the lady at the counter didn't even know there'd been a takeout order. My coffee hadn't been made and I'm not sure if the kitchen was ever notified about my sandwich. I understand they're short staffed, but if you're going to service online customers their tickets should be worked on simultaneously with other orders. I stopped in based off a Yelp review. I tried an onion bagel with lox and cream cheese. It was very good, perfectly balanced for a portion and delicious.
