Getting zero stars at a McDonald's isn't easy, I mean you gotta work hard...this place excelled! Stopped here right off 95 looking for a quick bite to taking the road and we had the pleasure of admiring the inside of the restaurant for 20+ minutes while we waited for a couple burgers and chicken strips. Lucky for us, no one else was waiting with us so we practically had the place to ourselves! Even better, asked for an update and was told, oh we just waiting for a burger ...with a smile...NFG! These folks are actually truly pleasant (seriously) but there is zero sense of urgency so if you're trying to not lose time, THIS IS NOT the place for you. But wait...one last thing...got two miles up 95 and they missed a sandwich...1 of 4. Can't make this stuff up! Update about an hour later...I truly should have read the other comments before posting my own...I guess at least we should be grateful our burgers had actual patty's on them. Took a single bite out of a McDouble, chewed for a few minutes and felt a HAIR. We didn't call or flip out, we simply went back up to the establishment and showed them. They immediately took it out of our hands and threw it away, without checking or verifying, making sure no one else saw and continued to whisper and apology. As a manger, Mrs.Makayla could have easily comped a new one, but instead we had to pay full price for a new one so we had to go ahead and get more fries and a drink because by then we couldn't enjoy the rest of our cold meal. The 'sweet tea' we ordered ended up being unsweetened in spite which is extraordinarily unprofessional, next time don't look at us through the blinds as you discuss what to do with the tea! That is absolutely ridiculous and the owner needs to step up or do something with their staff. For a private franchise this establishment does a horrible job in continuing an alright reputation in a small town, I recommend the one that's two exits down in the city of Richmond hill because yes they make mistakes, but at least the van actually fix them. You can hardly see it in the photo because it is a blonde hair, but it's there in the red circle. We weren't sure what to do with it so we just placed it back on before we headed back up there. If you stop into this McDonald's, eight days out of 10 there's something wrong. Either the shake machine is broken, the lobby's closed, there's always something wrong. And it was this way before the pandemic and the shortages. read more

I don't write reviews often but this one is much needed. Possibly the worst McDonald's establishment I've ever walked into. I'm from out of town and wanted a quick stop but ended up there for 30 minutes. For one, the two front doors are closed? So you have to walk around in through the gas station and the bathrooms who look like they have never seen a mop. Absolutely horrific. Waited 20 minutes for 2 things that at most McDonald's take 3 minutes to make. And of course they got my order wrong so I had to wait extra. It's insane to me the workers can't read the word "plain" which should make the order easier for them as they don't have to add all the extra stuff but no. Overall, this place needs a cleaning inspector for the bathrooms and some reading/ time management lessons asap. I will never be back. read more

BUT it's the only FF rez at our exit and sometimes you just don't have time to go into one of the sit down rez's or to go all the way into Hinesville or Richmond Hill. Tonight we stopped in and took our chances - part of the order was WRONG (Again!) and when I scanned the bag code into my trick/treat app, it came back as already used!!! WTF?!? This review is also for the travel shop vac/gas station that is attached to this McDonald's as they share a bathroom. I am extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of both businesses as well as the bathroom. No paper towels, no toilet paper, no air dry. The place is filthy with trash keeping over the garbage cans. Health department should shut this down considering that noCDC guidelines are being followed other than one sign saying to please keep your distance. read more

I stopped by traveling through, the food was awful, the customer service was awful, all the employees were extremely rude, food was cold and nasty, also took 25 mins to get. I only order one ten piece chicken nugget meal! I didn't think I would ever give a fast food restaurant 5 stars but this McDonalds deserves it. I started working on a project in this area and stop here 1-2 times per week for lunch. The salads are always beautiful looking and fresh. When I have sandwiches the bread is ALWAYS soft and fresh. Every employee that I've interacted with has been friendly and personable. I would recommend this McDonalds to anyone who wants to know how a McDonalds should taste/be like. read more

Don't eat here. The orders are never right. Nobody including management cares if you need diet instead of sugared drinks. My husband asked for a coffee with splenda. They put in sugar and as a result he had a medical procedure canceled due to a high sugar reading. I can't get a diet Dr Pepper ever!! It's on the menu, but the staff seems to think there's no difference between sugar and no sugar. I'm a patient person but I just can't go here anymore. I'm a local and have used this drive through many times. Key word here is "used." About a year ago I stopped by one morning to grab a coffee and a sausage biscuit to go. I was asked to pull up and park and it would be brought out to me. OK, no worries right? Well after 12 other vehicles drove off with their orders, I assumed my order was lost and walked inside with my receipt to get a refund. What I encountered was a hostile reception by the assistant manager and two other employees. I explained I had an appointment and could not wait another 15 mins. I was nice, polite and understanding. I told the assistant manager I understood mistakes are made it wasn't a problem just please refund my money and I'd be on my way. She was highly agitated and kept saying my order would be right out. Again I told her I was unable to wait any longer just please refund my money. Another employee walked out and started waver her arms telling me to calm down. I actually laughed and said Miss I'm just as calm as I was before I stopped here I just need to be on my way. Then I realized she was trying to provoke me into losing my temper, so I backed away from her. I then asked the assistant manager am I really going to have to call the police to get my refund? She barked back here take your @amn money we don't need it anyway. WOW that took a turn for the worse. She refunded my money and as I walked out another employee yelled, and don't bring your @#$ back. I took her advise and haven't been back. I called and had a lengthy discussion with McDonalds corporate office. I explained to corporate that if I'd had my phone on me I would have called the police, pressed charges and followed that up with a lawsuit against McDonalds. I told them to get the camera videos for the exact time and date to review to find who the aggressor was and why she felt the need to come out from behind the counter and to get so close that I needed to back up. The lady I spoke to in cooperate was highly concerned and disappointed in their employees behaviors and assured me it would be investigated fully. She then offered me several free gift cards for my experience. I politely declined and told her I have no intentions of returning to any McDonalds after that. In this day and time I'm sure this puzzle won't be too difficult to put together of why this happened. read more

There are 5 McDonald's locations off the interstate between where I live and where I work. Two of these locations are not easily accessible. I have tried the other 3 several times each at different times of the day. This location is, by far, the best of the three. I will bypass the McDonald's at my own exit and choose this one.
