Ordered 2 milkshakes and 2 mcflurrys. both shakes were alr, the mcflurrys had all of maybe half a oreo cookie crumbled on top and i counted 7 mini m&m pieces on my flurry's. i paid $4 a piece for them just to have vanilla ice cream which i did NOT want. yall didn't mix it nor put enough to taste. what are yall doing? unbelievable read more

just want to give a huge shoutout to Cat in the drive-thru at the Montevallo McDonald's. Every single time I pull up and hear her go "ba-da- ba-ba-ba," it instantly puts a smile on my face. She brings this fun, upbeat energy that you don't expect when you're just grabbing food. Even on days when I'm dragging, she somehow lifts my mood before I even get my order. She's quick, professional, and always gets the order right, but what stands out most is her attitude. She jokes around just enough to make you laugh, but you can also tell she cares about doing her job well. You don't run into many people who not only have charisma but can also brighten someone's day in a drive-thru window but she does--including mine, every time. It's clear she works hard and takes pride in what she does, and I just want McDonald's management to know what an asset they have in her. We were in the area and stopped by for a drink and a quick snack. We ordered our food via the mobile app, and got in line. Our food was ready very quickly and we were on our way. The sandwich my husband ordered was supposed to be without pickles, but upon opening the sandwich, we realized they had just taken off the pickles and not made a new sandwich sans pickles. That was a little disappointing. This McDonald's is much smaller than most, but that could be because of its location in downtown Montevallo. I'd come here again. read more

Don't make food r and it's a lie there are not open 24 hours closes at 10.The food was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The fries were soggy and lacked any semblance of crispiness. The burger was dry and unappealing, with a bun that felt like cardboard. read more

We decided to stop by and grab a quick drink after a long walk at the nearby park. Their dollar drinks are hard to beat, and if you have the app, they almost always give away food with a drink purchase, so if you're not using it, I don't know why. Maybe you don't like free stuff? The staff were friendly and efficient - our food came out quick. The parking lot is arranged awkwardly, but that is due to it being in downtown Montevallo. We're not in the area often, but I'd stop by here again. read more

I hate to be that person but they either mess up your order every time you go or they give food that should not be eaten. I was there about 30 minutes ago and for a 2B with lettuce and a coke to drink. Finally think they get it right, nope. Instead you get a diet drink that tastes awful and a moldy burger. I don't usually eat at McDonald's but this morning I was hungry and there aren't many breakfast choices in the area. A chicken biscuit and a large iced coffee is what I ordered. This store needs a serious looking over by corporate, or at least a manager that may care. Workers that could care less if they help you thru the drive thru or would rather be on their phone. Food is the worst. I ordered a fish sandwich meal and the fish was hard around the edges, not even hot or really that warm. I took one bite and decided against eating it for fear of getting food poisoning. The Coke had a terrible taste as well. What a waste of money and this was at lunch time too! 10/26/23 morning shift placed order at 7:42 A.M. and returned approximately 30 minutes later for my missing items. would give 0 stars if possible. I have never dealt with such rude people. The cashier and even the manager on duty. I spent $25 on my order, when I arrived home my hash browns were left out of my order. I went back 15 minutes away took my receipt and ask for my 2 hash browns and was told nothing we can do because they were in the bag. I was told they wouldn't give me the hash browns or my money back because the girl in the window said I looked in bag bag before I left. I did look in the bag to see if she put jelly in the bag but I didn't take everything out until I got home so I didn't notice the hash browns were missing. I would not have driven 30 minutes round trip to try and rip them off by asking for 2 freakin hash browns. I am still so angry . MONTEVALLO MCDONALD'S SUCKS. THEY NEED TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is the one of the worst fast food places in Montevallo. Took awhile to get to order at the drive-thru...ok, had to repeat a simple order (4 items) 4 times and they still got it wrong. Refused to let me pay at the window for missing items, told me I had to come inside or go around (behind 10 new cars) again for service. Went inside, figured it would be faster, nope, and the manager that rang me up pulled fresh fries and gave me old ones. Screw McDonalds in Montevallo. How about 20 minutes in the drive thru with only four cars in line? I come here regularly after church on Sunday because it is the only place in the area my daughter will eat. They are always unprepared and slow, but two stars because they are friendlier than most McDonald's. That is it. read more

There were three cars in the drive thru when I got there. It took 12 mins for me to get to the window and when I got up to the window they didn't even have my order in the computer and it took her another 5 mins to get me my food. I ordered one Mcchicken. The night manger was playing music and I could hear it in the drive thru. Need a way better night crew and manger. read more

I sat i. The drive through for 25 minutes so far after ordering and have not moved. The night crew is NEVER in uniform and a lot of the time are wearing sweat pants. I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's. However, I confess, every once in a while I get a Big Mac attack. Every single time I go into this place, I see a skeleton crew of hardcore food service workers rushing around trying to do the work of twice as many people. I've worked in restaurants my whole life. I know what it looks like. These people are literally set up to fail. After all, labor costs more than anything and people are always going to go to McDonalds. Screw whoever is in charge of making decisions for this place. These kids are obviously busting their butts with no resources available to them. I hope whoever is in charge of allocating labor looses everyone they love in a tragedy. They obviously don't comprehend things like empathy or things outside of their own selfish needs. And, no, I DON'T work there. I just recognize a toxic work environment after spending two seasons at Amazon, a season at Disney and 35 years in food service. Seriously, whoever is the regional manager for this place, needs to have their family leave them and the IRS do an audit...at the same time. Upon ordering in the drive they line, I was asked if I had completed my order, I said I wanted to add a large fry. I was told it would be added at the 1st window. I paid for my order, and read they my receipt, the large fry wasn't there, I tried getting the cashiers attention, but she was too busy on her phone. I pulled forward as to not hold up the line, only to be met with questions about my order, and had to repeat my order to the workers so they could give me the right food. I told them my issue and that I did in fact still want the large fry. I was told they couldn't receive payments through that window and that I would have to go through the drive thru again to get the item I had not only ordered but tried two different times to pay for despite being ignored then told flat out no. It may only be a simple large fry, however, treatment of customers should have some sort of standard. Simply paying attention while you're supposed to be working, or helping a customer out in response to a lacking member of your team could've changed the experience drastically. read more

Ok, my daughter and I stopped here on our way back from Orr Park. If I had to guess, we have been eating at McDonald's restaurants at least once a month for the last 15 years. I even worked at McDonalds when I was in college so I kinda have some idea about how this stuff should be cooked. Over time, I have discovered the best thing is their Big Mac and their McRib. We saw a billboard going into Montevallo advertising the "limited time" McRib so (both of us loving that sandwich) we decided to eat there. Well, they DID NOT have the McRibs yet (I wondered what the heck it was doing on the billboard less than 2 blocks away)!!! So, here we go orering our usual #1 Big Mac combos. This particular location has NAILED the Big Mac!!! It was perfect. The only problems I noticed was overhearing the conversations of the employees in the back who were obviously burned out, bored or bonkers. I was just there at the drive through and nobody helped me, I pulled around to the window where I see the employees talking with their friends and then they literally hid behind a wall, thinking I didn't see them. This place is absolutely terrible. I went through the drive through and ordered a Mcdouble with a small order of fries. The african american man I gave my money to barely spoke basic English. When I got to the second window to get my food, the African-american woman had nails as big as a crayon, and said i never ordered fries. The service is absolutely horrible. And I've lived in this town for fourteen years and it has never improved. Every worker there is an African-american who has no manners or courtesy whatsoever. Including the manager. I do frequent McDonald's from time to time and the salads have usually been fresh, but some training in food handling must be going awry since the last time I had a salad there was brown-edged lettuce and even a couple of rotten tomatoes. So today, I got a "happy meal" thinking that shouldn't be a problem, but the fries were wrinkled up and cold and the yogurt was hot and the coke tasted like bourbon & coke.
