I witnessed an employee verbally assaulting a customer, who was waiting in her car with her two young children in the parking lot drive-thru. The employee used A LOT "F" Bomb language, as the store manager allowed her to come back out to the parking lot (in front of other customers), multiple times. Visibly upset, yet composed, the customer demanded to speak to a manager. The worst I heard her say back to the employee was that she was being extremely rude and didn't want to deal with her. But the employee continued to shout at her, as other customers, including myself, watched-on in disbelief. The customer's two children (one of them autistic) were visibly upset and scared, especially the younger boy. There is more to this story, that involved the manager calling Orange County Sheriff, and I witnessed much of what happened around that unnecessary moment, that the store manager could've easily prevented, had he dealt with his employee and the customer, appropriately. The manager showed no empathy towards the customer (who not once cursed or spoke in a threatening manner). Worse, the manager was seen laughing with the employee (and one other employee), as everyone waited for the officers to arrive. There was one employee (Tania) who also witnessed the incident, and also felt that the other employee acted aggressively. Tania even told the manager how she felt about the way he was mishandling the situation. Instead of trying to deescalate the situation, the manager allowed the belligerent employee to engage with anyone, who found her behavior appalling. I've been coming to this location for 2-1/2 years, and know the majority of employees and management here to have been nice. But NOT last night. That employee deserves to be fired, and that manager should be re-trained. He seemed out-of-touch with understanding how to competently deal with such an escalating situation. If I hear back from the district manager about my comment, then I'll remove this post. Until then, it's staying up here. My drive-through ticket number was 1387. Finally, to the lady customer with her kids... I feel bad about the way you were treated, even as you continued to show class, composure and respect. read more

I placed my order through the McDonalds app and went to go pick it up and the person over the drive stated they are closed. I asked why and he said they were short staffed. I said I am the only customer here he said he was the only employee there. Which is not true because there was a female in the front lobby mopping the floors. This is the 4th time this has happened where I place an order only to get here and they are closed. Last time it was because they were cleaning the grills, the two other times before that the system reboots (mind you one was at 4:30am and the other at 2:30 am) and takes 20 minutes to come back up. Once when I placed an order I get there and they said they didnt get it even though it said it was placed at this location. I said now what he said to cancel it and put another order in. I asked him if you didnt get it the first time what makes you think you will get it a second time? As Im typing this there are customers going through the drive thru getting food. Why is is so hard to give me what I order? This place is terrible. Had to go inside to get the missing food. Fries were cold. Terrible!

Wrong order. Bad food. Bad service. Bad management. I went through the drive through and placed an order 8/13/24 at around 9-9:30pm, I ordered 2 $5 meal deals. 1 was a plain mcdouble with bbq and the other a plain mchicken with s&s. After paying I double checked my receipt and everything looked correct. At the next window i was given my drinks and food and left the drive through but stopped in the parking lot to check my order. I was given 2 hamburgers, no fries and no sauces. How do you mess up that bad???? After pulling back around and telling them what happened the staff looked very confused. They asked for my receipt which had everything clearly listed on it so I gave it to them. A couple minutes later i get a bag with one of the correct orders, i sat there still waiting and the window guy asked what i was still waiting for..... i told him and he walked away. THEN the MANAGER!!!!! brought me a bag with only a mcdouble in it that was NOT plain. he walked away and i told the other guy that came to the window that this was yet again wrong. They all disappeared for a couple minutes and i eventually got the rest of my order. However i did yet another check and they didn't give me any sauce. Just yet another disappointment from this location. The food is NEVER fresh, it always tastes stale and you're lucky if they get your order right. Someone needs to do something about what's going on here bc it's awful. read more

I thought this stuff only happened in stories.... yet I was served a raw burger. The worst part was that I was so hungry, I had eaten half of it before realizing it was raw!! Immediately hurled all over the place. To make matters even worse, when I drive back to the store, the 'manager' only offered to refund the burger, not my entire order. Mind you this was a $17 order, not $100 worth of food for the entire family. I was flabbergasted. I come here all the time for quick snack or a sweet treat and i have never experienced anything like today. I asked for an extra cup of sauce and they told me i would have to pay for it, which i was totally okay with because it usually like 60¢ and for some reason the card reading wasn't working and didn't charge my card, but we didn't realize until after she gave me the sauce so she told the manager and the manager started telling her that she shouldn't have came me the sauce if i didn't pay and proceeded to tell her i need to pay for it, i didn't make a big fuss because it was only 60 something cents so i tapped my card again and it wasn't reading my card so she proceeded to tell the employee to take it back from me because i didn't pay for it. The manager was being very rude and had a nasty attitude towards me, mind you i never once came off as rude i was willing to go back for a dollar to pay for it and she just walked away. Please...turn on the air conditioning or at the very least the fans. For the last 3 weeks or so the store has been HOT. No air circulation. The grease film reaches the far end of the store, the air is stale and employees appear miserable. I don't like placing a food order with someone behind the register wiping the sweat from their face. It's understandable that AC units can malfunction but it needs to be priority one as far as repairs go. If the AC is being turned off on purpose to save money then SHAME ON YOU. read more

11/18/2021 Stoneybrook Hills location in Mount Dora, FL 32757. 7:30 AM Lobby was locked. You could see people working the drive through. No sign on the door. Employees ignored knocks on the door. I walked around and interrupted the cars in the drive through to ask what was going on. Finally was told they didnt have enough people to open the lobby. WHY NOT PUT UP A SIMPLE DOOR SIGN EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM? And to top it off, it was the special anniversary date of the Egg McMuffin. Not a good day for this kind of problem. I was told by another customer outside with me, that the two other nearby McDonalds were also closed lobbies. Sounds like it was all planned in advance to me. NOT GOOD!!!!!! read more

While they don't like loitering inside they love letting you sit in the drive through for ten minutes on a mobile order then when you get to the front window ask you to pull ahead and make you wait ten more minutes all while consistently screwing up the order. I still come back in hopes a new manager will Change customer service in this store.....LOL Everytime I go here there is a problem. The days of the customer is always right is gone. My last stop ... The drive thru was only open . I place my order from there sign.. The prices are on the sign. But, I get to the window , my order is more money . I said too the attendant why is my order more money ? She said there was a price increase.... I proceeded too inform her the price is on the sign..... LOL . She said would you like too talk to the manager? I , said yes the manager came out and said she can't change the price...... Even if it's on the sign. I thought this is really bad customer service........... The price was not the problem. I eat out a lot. Yes, the price was wrong.... The problem was .? They didn't say sorry, apologize or even acted as if they even cared. This is what they call customer service.....LOL Too top it all off my order was wrong ...but I just paid and left... The food is not that good. It's just ok at best.....two sub- par. I've been too this store many times and I always feel rushed to leave .... I even had a employee ask me are you still here .....I was still eating... You may think ? They were joking......but there were not....I was only there 15 mins. Maybe, they have a problem with people staying there to long .... I'm not one to hangout when I'm done... I eat and leave. Food - It's McDonald's. :-) The orders are usually right and the staff is friendly at the register and drive through. Wait times are short. Interior - The interior is not clean. Greasy and slippery floors, tables are wiped down in frequently, and spills have been known to sit for upward of an hour before being addressed. This is consistent during busy and slow hours. Staff - Friendly at the POS, but loud, personal gripe sessions can be heard in the dining room during non-peak hours. read more

One of the worst McDonalds I have ever eaten at in years. They are constantly slow at providing the food, the always forget the sauces or don't provide all of them requested. Today was the final straw. I ordered $30 worth of food online and picked it up through the drive through. The food took longer and they asked us to pull around. I reminded the person at the window to please check to make sure all the sauces we requested were put in the bag. She said she would and when the food was brought out the bag was so full we couldn't check it for the sauces until we got home. When we got home there were none of the sauces we had requested. I called to complain to the manger and he asked if we would drive back to get the sauces they forgot and we had reminded them about. I told them "No" we would not be driving back letting our foot get cold so that we could get the sauces they had forgotten twice that we had asked to be included. The manager said, "so what do you want me to do about it". I informed him that our family would never be coming back and I doubt they even care. read more

This review has nothing to do with food. Their food is just like any other McDonald's in the country. This review has to do with service. I went in to get lunch today with two of my children. We went inside to eat and there was a decent amount of customers standing around. There were ZERO employees behind the counter taking orders. Instead the brilliant owner of this McDonald's installed three or four large screens for customers to order their own food. They had one older employer "helping" people with the screens. After several minutes of attempting to navigate through their large screen menu I left. If an actual human being would have taken our order it would have been done in 30 seconds. Does the owner understand the concept of customer service?? If I am going out to eat I don't want to be treated like I don't matter. I don't want to spend five minutes at a FAST food restaurant just to place my order. I want to an employee to say "Good afternoon and may I please take your order." And then say "Thank you" when I am done. I DO NOT WANT TO BE GREETED WITH A COMPUTER SCREEN. I left and went to the Mt. Dora McDonald's. They have ZERO of these large order it yourself screens. I was greeted by a human being politely and she took our order within 30 seconds. She thanked us and smiled. To the owner of this McDonald's I would say take a look at the Mt. Dora McDonald's or ANY Chick-fil-A in the country and ask yourself why these restaurants are flourishing. Decent food and good customer service. I do understand that there are some people who would rather punch a computer screen rather than interact with a human being. I hope this is a minority because if that is the state of our current society then this country is in deep trouble. read more

I have to say I have been to many McDonald's but this is one that ousted wowed me. The food was fresh, The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and to top it of it was fast. The speed surprised me, I had my food in under a minute of ordering, and the salad looked like it way hand crafted and not some jumbled mess. The burger my wife got was neat and she enjoyed it. I will be returning to this store often. read more

Help. They never get the order right even when they read it back to you. Order kiosks won't let you modify the way you want. Floors are greasy in the dining room. Its very aggravating since the location is so convenient for us. We aren't the only ones. Others have the same problem and told us so. I know its not just me. read more

Every time I go to this McDonalds they screw up my order and almost always am I sent to reserve where they still screw up my order. Just today I ordered a Twix McFlurry and I seen the girl making it, she used the caramel from the frappe center. One of the other employees asked why and she replied, "we ran out". I was okay with her using the caramel, thinking she only ran out of caramel (as this was my first time eating a Twix McFlurry) however when I returned home to eat my McFlurry I was surprised but what I found.. Soft served vanilla ice cream with caramel (NO TWIX!!!). Like really???? On a positive note, the managers, when called, are helpful and ready to fix the problem. Tomorrow I will be having a McFlurry on them however, I would have really liked to eat my Twix McFlurry today, right now actually, which is probably why I was upset enough to write this review because I usually just ignore the mistakes (not anymore). read more
