This is by far the worst dirtiest rudest McDonalds I have ever been to I can't even begin with the multiple times of stupid issues and messed up orders and getting ripped off and the sarcastic comments in the drive thru . Last time I waited in the drive thru for 39 min . And when I got up to the window they made me wait more and ignored me and then said they were sorry they dropped our order and food on the floor and If we wanted a discount to take the food we would not have to wait or pull up and would remake it for the full price . Unbelievable and told the manager give my money back and would never come there again and go to galion but is not nearly as bad as mount gilead . Always be prepared to be asked to pull up . I review every place I eat now and say it like it is and fast food is ruined now and service sucks Ray Crock is turning in his grave shame on you people grow up and train your people to have respect and take pride in the job . read more

I wouldn't give this even a star. I check the hours and this say that the lobby closes at 11pm I know websites can be wrong so we check the door and if also says 11pm shocker right. Keep in mind half of the staff is outside smoking blunts if you're going to do than do it at home maybe not at your place of work. We try to get in the door is locked so we drive around to e building to the other door which is propped OPEN WITH A BADY CHAIR I personally would not want my child sitting in after it was sitting it the air in which they smoke weed so I was a little confused so I walk in because I don't know if they were open or not because why leave it propped open if you're closed. The lady then tells us that the lobby is open only to use the restroom not for ordering we smile and say thank you and walk out as we're walking out they then proceed to rudely talk smack about us I'm sorry I didn't know we were in middle school but let's be honest that's probably when this lady dropped out. read more

Went to grab some breakfast the other day. Drive thru of course, placed my order, got my bag and headed back to my campsite (in town for work), opened bag and realized I had the completed wrong order. Had to go back to restaurant to get correct food. Go in, she was aware because evidently the person who got my food has already come in and complained. She says "I'm gonna hook you up". Now I'm thinking, a refund, for the huge inconvenience. She gives me my bag, I go back to campground and look, yeah.. she literally just gave me my food that I had ordered. I really wanted to give the McDonald's in Mt. Gilead no stars at all. I have never had such poor service. I was asked to pull into a parking spot and wait for my order, which I did. Within a few minutes, a car pulled to the right of me and one to the left to wait on their food. 10 minutes into waiting both cars had received their food, but I had not. I asked the girl where my order was and she said she would check on it. Two minutes later she approaches my car and asks me what I had ordered. Really? She had given my order to someone else and had no idea what I had ordered. I gave her my order and waited another 7 minutes....still no food. I got out of my car at this point and walked inside up to the counter. Some lady, other than the one who had been taking care of me, said how sorry they were and that my order was being prepared. We are now in to waiting 20 minutes! This isn't the first time I have had bad service at this McDonald's but it WILL BE THE LAST TIME. I will no longer give them my money. I will go elsewhere. It's a shame, but until they get rid of whomever is running this McDonald's, my family will not be back. read more

I almost always get what I order at this McD's. The food is fresh and delicious. Staff always friendly.

Should learn from taco bell and get orders right. Staff is always rude thank God for taco bell. Now we need a burger king.

I have a difficult time giving this location even one star. Doesn't matter what time of day or night you go. Plan on waiting in line for at least 10 minutes. Plan on your food being old and cold. Also plan on a manager never ever ever being available to answer why the service is so poor! Unfortunate McDonald's has the attitude in Mount Gilead that they are the only restaurant. No they're not. There are other places opening, and I do see them continuing to lose business until they fix this place. read more

They never get the order right. The drivethru is so miss managed you will be sent to park and wait 5 to 10 minutes for your food, often even when you are the only vehicle in line. This location is so poorly run it will save you time and frustration to go to the Taco Bell across the street. read more

This yesterant is ran by teenagers or poor management. No one is trained right on getting orders corrected. Also the machine are always broke down. The service and food both are foul! The food is just tossed together along with anything extra that was laying around. Seems like they pass out last week's food in general. Went in 7:50pm, waited for awhile. The guy came over asked what I wanted, I said 4 waters, he said he would have to charge me. Mc.donalds usually always gives free water, so I left went through the drive thur the lady said water was free how many do you want I told her 4 My mom has trouble she chokes sometimes, The guy heard and came over and Yelled "YOU CAN'T GET ANY WATER,yOU HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING TO GET THE WATER". They completely ignored me so I figured I go in and talk to the manager, Found out that the guy who I thought was some worker was actually the manager and He was talking bad about me, judging me and implying that I was stupid to whoever he was talking to on phone. Was there yesterday, stood at counter for 3/4 minutes, maybe more, all these girls/teenagers were just walking by me, laughing and cutting up.. They are more interested in having fun than waiting on customers.. Not really sure but think the manager was right there with them.. The person at the register took forever and then messed up our order. He was to distracted by his friends that were hanging out in there. The tables were dirty, we had to clean one to sit down, and the trash was overflowing in both bins so had to leave our trash on the table. This was a Sunday evening at 8:00. The service sucks. I ordered a mocha frappe and the whipped cream didn't even go to the top of the cup( not the lid, the actually rim of the cup). It is McDonald's - what does one expect? The sandwiches are speedily and POORLY assembled, the food is exactly the same and the only difference is the humans running them. If they paid a teeny tiny bit more attention to the food and stopped playing grab ass in the back, it would be nicer here. One does not understand why every action or order or task requires dramatic eye rolling and heavy sighs... However, the best part is seeing and hearing the seniors and the hillbillies yelling and flipping out on the counter help high school kids, almost like dinner and a show! The managers seem miserable and show it on their faces. The old lady who cleans the place is awesome, spotless. But some times the hillbillies poop on the floor though... they are a proud people, and they do not like being scolded. read more
