Simply the best burger I ever ate. Real, fresh, quality ingredients and flavor in every bite!

I ordered mac and cheese with an Angus coney. What I received was mac and cheese completely covered in coney sauce. I checked the menu several times, and "coney sauce" was never listed as part of the dish. When I tried to address the issue, the customer service was very disappointing. The manager apparently didn't feel the situation was important enough to address, and the employee at the counter seemed annoyed that I even brought it up. I wasn't asking for a refund -- I simply wanted what I actually ordered. Instead, I left feeling ignored and unheard. Customer service and communication matter just as much as the food. read more

This small little (mostly take out) burger and wing joint is a hidden gem! The store front is on the corner. They prefer you call ahead, but it was our first time there, so we walked in and ordered. It took about 15 min to get our food. I got a single burger with the special sauce, American cheese (they were out of pepper jack), lettuce, and grilled onion. My husband got the double with American and added lettuce, pickle, mayo, mustard. We got a large fry to share and chipotle ranch sauce to dip the fries. We will definitely return! The burgers were smash burgers and the chimney sauce (special sauce) was unique. It was a little smokey/spicy and zesty. We noticed after we ordered it was .99 wing day! Hidden gem in Delaware. Randomly drove by and saw they had 100% beef tallow fries so I had to try it out. One of the best burgers I've had in Columbus. Their whole menu looks good, it's small inside though and I think most people get takeout. But, they also have a craft soda fountain that was also delicious. Honestly great place to visit! So good. Worth the stop. We were driving back to Columbus and decided to stop at Smash Shack Burger and I'm so glad we did. Everything was sooo good. We ordered to-go and the wait time was only about 10 minutes, which was impressive. We got smash burgers, fries, and nuggets, and all of it hit. Burgers were juicy and flavorful, fries were solid, and the nuggets were a surprise favorite. Highly recommend if you're passing through. I was in the area and yelppie recommended this burger place, and eating is pretty high, so I thought I stop by. The place is tiny, the sign is tiny, you drive a little faster, you will be like me, completely missed The parking also a little weird, I believe there 3 parking spots at the front, and 2 more parking spots on the side of the building, that's it, this is not a place you want to dine in, even tho there's couple of small tables inside, more of to go place. Now I'm not sure if they will take your order at the counter, there is a tv screen with the menu on there, and on the right hand corner there is a bar code you can scan on your phone and order it online, that's what I did I ordered the double cheese burger for $11, topping I input all on side. 6 wings for $9 and the small waffle fries for $3.75 Total came out around $24, they add another $1.25 for credit card charges, total over $25 and change Couple minutes later, the guy came out and told me there is no topping included, each topping is additional charge. I'm like wha???? So lettuces, tomatoes, onions, all additional charges on each. Now it become expensive, really expensive The burger not big But it is above average good Wing is typical like other places, nothing special Fries is good Is not like is so good when it comes to burger, this will be the first place that pop up in my head. I probably won't be back, just way over price in my opinion, and charging additional for topping is ridiculous, a good burger should be including lettuce, tomato's and onions. Been wanting to try this place for awhile. Finally we found a time to go. It's on the corner and during peak hours is a little tricky so, we parked in the lot next door. Walked in clean and small a kiosk for self order or they can help you if you have questions. As we ordered people started coming in. Very friendly guy behind the counter was patient and explained the menu. We both ordered burgers. We also ordered an order of waffle fries and onion rings. Waited only like 10-15 minutes. We went back to our car and had our romantic dinner..Lol. Burgers were very good. Nice flavor and fresh toppings. Onion rings were great but I thought for the price it should have been a bigger portion. I think we got like 5 onion rings. And same with the waffle fries not a big portion. Read the reviews so wanted to try them while passing by and I'm mad I spent my money! The burger was ok. It wasn't worth it tho! The onion rings were burnt and the hot dog was nasty They only had local sugar cane foundation drinks and the cream soda was nasty! They can sodas was $2 each!! The employees was really nice and explained everything to us! They had everything chicken wings, chicken tenders, onion rings, etc! Charged for bbq sauce and barely any on it when asked for ketchup and more bbq sauce they wanted to charge! Over it It sits on the corner it's really small and they have a small area to sit outside! On an errand to Delaware, I was feeling a burger and this was nearby. For whatever reason - traffic suuuuuucked but I parked on the street and walked up. They have a sign that you can take their food to the bar around the corner! It's lean and mean. The (owner?) was working it solo, and was balancing every person walking in. Speaking loud and clearly, and friendly. The setup is obvious and simple - not a crazy menu, no complex options. Burgers, dogs, and wings. This visit - burger and rings (and a side of that house sauce). The sauce IS peppery - I loved it, but you've been warned. They make a good burger (steam a good ham?) - they're not a "everyone come in and sit down" place - they have a single table and two benches. So prepare to go (I lucked out). Unfortunately, they decided to slop mustard and onion on all 3 coneys, which basically made the inedible as both people don't eat raw onion at all. The food is great here. Not much for inside seating, they are clearly focused on the to go crowd. I think the pricing is a bit on the high side but I think you get that back with the quality of food. My wife and I are eating people so do not go here as often as other places, especially during colder months. Location is on the corner of two busy streets and not easy to get in the parking lot. If you want a great burger, this is the place. Burger was moist and full of flavor with a nice soft bun. You can get one, two or three patties. They also have gluten free buns. As others have commented, there are two-two person tables and that's it. Best to get your food to go. They also have a craft soda station that has a pretty large selection of flavors. read more

He asked me about what I knew about beef and that they used strictly Ohio raised Angus. I am from Oklahoma and raised on a ranch, and have eaten good beef told him my thoughts (I preferer Herford meat). He said I should try a burger and tell him what I thought. Well, being the fat man I am, I ordered one. A plain smash single (Big mistake, should have gotten the double if not the triple). I believe it was the Chimney sauce (correct me if I am wrong) on it. We chatted while he cooked it, and off I went on my way, wings and a burger. Riding in the truck with the smell was killing this fat boy, so I dug out the burger and dug in. I have eaten a lot of burgers in my life, and this was, by far, the best burger I have had! I literally licked the wrapper! Once I had found a napkin I called the restaurant ( was gone all of 7 min) and told the owner my thoughts! Skip forward till 7, and I got a call from the owner saying I had left my card there, and I headed that way. As I walked in I ordered a double, and was bragging on him. That burger was even better (more to it!). I 100% recommend the Smash Shack, and if I am ever within 100 miles of them I will make the extra drive to eat there!
