The level of incompetence of the workers here is honestly insane, except for the one amazing lady that works in the morning!

Made us wait 30 minutes and checked our order with us 3 times and still got it wrong not even the same food?! On top of that rude staff..

placed our order online at 10:30pm. we were asked 4 different times what we had at the 1st window. we then proceeded to the second window where a younger lady repeated a similar order as ours and when we were confused she got annoyed. we reached for the drink and then my husband said yeah no this is not our order. she then proceeded to cuss and say "great now I have to remake this whole f***ing order" she continued to use very inappropriate language while the window was open about how annoyed she was that we reached for the order. waited a second and she opened the window and handed us the correct food and when we said thank you she just gave us a dirty look. very rude and inappropriate customer service skills. we understand having a rough day but swearing about us is not appropriate. read more

In drive thru ordered $14.03 of burgers at west Sherman location. The whole order was wrong. When drove back thru I never got a "sorry" or a coupon or anything. I will never go back. Ordered through mobile app which tracked me down the street and said my order was being worked on. Afrer waiting for 22min for someone to bring the food out, I finally went in to get it. They are never open when they say they are. Numerous times we go at 615 am and nobody's ever there or they are never open. Don't put your hours as 6 am if you don't open. I'm a manager for a restaurant and that is bad business. Whoever owns this restaurant I hope you know what's going on in your building because someone's either adjusting their clock in times or not opening your store which means your losing out on money you could be making. read more

They boast about being open 24/7, but if you try to go through the driveway anywhere from 11:30PM-3AM, you'll most likely be told that their machines are down, or they'll tell you that they're closed for cleaning. Service in the evening, assuming they're still open at all, is mediocre at best. We tried to stop in last night around 11:30ish, and were told that the restaurant was closed for the remainder of the night because their machine was down, despite 3 or 4 people in line ahead of us. The last couple of times that I tried to stop in later at night after I got out of work, they were constantly closed for cleaning 12AM to 2-3AM. I get that things happen from time to time, but if you're shutting down at some point every night, then you aren't open 24/7. If you do happen to find yourself in that predicament, just go to the new Wendy's down the road. Lack luster fast food service! I mean if you worked fast food you know how "stressful" it can be but these people don't give a flying fudgecicle about their jobs. The managers and employees don't know how to use the McDonald's app for online ordering which the franchise is pushing! I always have to wait 10 minutes in the drive thru no matter how busy they are! If I wanted to go to a sit down restaurant I would. It's fast food not attitude food. I recommend the Bk across the street because they are just as slow but at least they apologize and are nice while you are waiting! read more

Please note, this review pertains to the breakfast service ONLY: I've been wanting to try Taco Bell's breakfast items since I first saw them advertised on t.v., but my husband won't stray from McDonalds' sausage & egg biscuits. :-) This morning, on my way to pick up breakfast from McDonald's, I decided to pick up Taco Bell for myself and then get my husband's biscuit sandwiches at McDonald's (they are two stores apart from one another). Big mistake...HUGE! When I pulled up to the Taco Bell Drive-thru there were only 4 vehicles ahead of me, the last of which had just finished placing an order as I pulled up. I ordered 2 items (mind you, with NO substitutions or changes), a sausage & egg biscuit taco and a bacon & egg A.M. Crunchwrap. I was told how much my order would be, then I pulled ahead so the next person could order. I proceeded to wait...and wait...and wait in line. A total of TWELVE minutes I waited...for only TWO 'sandwiches', behind only FOUR vehicles (none of which appeared to have large orders, by the way) only to be told, when I pulled up to the window, there was NO sausage! REALLY?? They couldn't have told me that when I ordered? I cannot believe, with only 4 vehicles in front of me, they couldn't see when I ordered that they were running low on sausage (if they were not ALREADY out at that time)? Again I ask, REALLY?? Of course, I told them to cancel my order. I then proceeded to McDonald's, as I SHOULD have done in the first place. When I pulled into McDonald's I counted 11 vehicles in their 2 drive-thru lanes, not including the vehicles on the side of the building with the pick-up windows (which I could not see from my position in line). I thought to myself, "I bet I'll get through here in less time than it took at Taco Bell", then I took note of the current time on the clock. When my turn came, I ordered 2 sausage & egg biscuits, hot cakes & sausage, and a large fat-free latte'. As I suspected, a mere 7 minutes later...yes, that's SEVEN minutes...I picked up my order and was on my way home, with the delicious smell of fresh coffee wafting through my car. Mmmmm... Now, I have no illusions that my breakfast from McDonald's was even CLOSE to being 'gourmet'; nor would the breakfast from Taco Bell have been. However, YOU do the math. Which would YOU think was the better experience? Which would be YOUR preference in the future? I, for one, will continue to give McDonald's my fast-food breakfast business...NO QUESTION! Before I pulled away from McDonald's, I briefly described to the crew person what had just transpired and asked her to pass it on to the manager on duty. I really want to like this place because it's cheap food, so I don't expect a lot. However, my last visit to this McDonald's was not good. First, I asked for a 2 cheeseburger meal (what I have ordered at McDonald's for the last 10 years) and the lady said they don't have one. So, I decided I would try the Bigmac. When I got home and opened my burger box, I found the most miserable looking thing I have ever seen. There wasn't even anything in between the middle and top buns. Nothing. To make things worse my wife ordered a double cheeseburger with only ketchup and pickles (her usual as well) and they gave her a flat out cheeseburger. I went through the drive thru on 8/18/2018 at 11:07 am. Ordered 2 combo's, a #1 and a #3. They had me pull up to wait for my order. Once they finally brought my food out I left and got home to find I was missing both hashbrowns. I drove back and wanted my sandwich replaced as well because it would be cold by time I got back home. I left the other sandwich and fries at home so mom could go ahead and eat. First the girl at window slammed it in my face when I told her why I was back, then manager came to window and loudly told me I HAD to move up again and shut window in my face. I have never been treated so rude in my life except one other time at this same store 1 year ago (aka the last time I was at this location). This was the first time I had come back since then and will be the last. Corporate needs to help. They have no clue how mobile order works, I had to walk them through it.... I went to McDonald's on apple Avenue in muskegon there was 8 people wait for there order to be take for 20 mins and there was 3 works outside and when my man asked what was going on they ignored us and continued smoking they're cigarettes like what kind of family business is that.... so we had to take our elsewhere! read more

Sometimes the cheese on Double Cheese Burgers isn't melted, sometimes the Fries are salted, sometimes it's not! I would still recommend it, just double check your order. read more

This place is fucking garbage. They told me they don't take Apple Pay when it's clearly advertised on their doors and drive thru windows. this is the worst mcdonalds of the face of this earth. lazy managers, i don't care employees, i went back twice for a drink that do not taste like water. they need to hand out gas cards instead of replacing food when they are consistently getting your order wrong. i do not normally write bad reviews, but enough is enough. the mcdonalds in north muskegon when before they closed for rebuilding, awesome. the mcdonalds on apple by u-haul awesome. but you end up at this mcdonalds 1491 apple street, be prepared to turn around and go back. i go here when the other mcdonalds are closed, so after hours i have to deal with attitude, ghetto, ignorant, folks white and black. that do not want to work. when you complain and you don't have the gas to return, they will tell you i can send you a card for a replacement meal. i have 4 not including the times that i did not call back. i don't eat mcdonalds every day, but when i do and the good mcdonalds are closed. we cross our fingers and hope that our order will be right at this location next to family dollar. but nope, we have to deal with the worst staff ever. read more

great coffee !.... but why did you go to the cardboard cup...when i heat a your small cup in my microwave... it burns the bottom of the cup brown spot now and ruins the taste of your great coffee ... it has happened every time i heated it since you went changed to the new card board cup...funny thing ...the larger cup does not seem to do it .... i had to remedy it by dumping it into one of my own cups and micro-waving it...then that great taste is just fine! ...this problem has never ever happened with the old styrafome cup? now it always produces a brown spot at the very bottom of the cup...but only when there is coffee in it...i tried it with clear water and no problem.....strange indeed ...why must everybody always change things ?? profits? health?? does all that really matter ... i am 68 years old and drank your coffee all my life ... i suppose it used to be in cardboard cups years ago ...but then there was no micro-waving to burn them ... and we won't even talk about the quality of your food since "back in the day" .... though i do still love a small(senior) cup of your coffee everyday .... i no longer eat any of your products so please ......don't mess up my coffee too ... thank you see ya tomorrow read more
