I am always super impressed by my meal at The Station Grill. My family heads there when we are craving burgers or wings. Last night it was wings that we were craving. Specifically the hot and tangy sauce. We arrived on a Friday night and there was surprisingly no wait for a party of 4. I love the theme of this restaurant. It is like an old car shop and the neon lights and half of a car on the wall is like nothing you can find in Muskegon. Our service is always topnotch here. The servers work together to make sure people are taken care of, even if they aren't in their section. It is so nice! Sometimes our server will be busy but no problem, another server notices your drink needs filled and just does it! Loooove that they are a true team. I ordered onion rings with their Cajun white sauce. You have to get this sauce to dip your onion rings in. It is phenomenal. It has a nice horseradish bite to it. I had the wings with their hot and tangy sauce and they were everything I hoped for and more. They are so crispy, juicy , and flavorful. My daughter had the wings with no bones and in the same sauce. She also had a side salad. My husband had the jalapeno burger, but requested the smaller version because he also had the ham and cheese slider sandwiches. He can't go to TSG without ordering them. I love this restaurant, the vibes, the service, and the food!

Awesome place! That 'Vette on the wall could be a '74; I once had one and still think it's the greatest body ever made. We ordered a large Buffalo Chicken Nacho Supreme, thinking we'd probably order more food later. They kindly split it in two without us asking, and it was so big that we didn't need anything else. So it ended up being a cheap meal for two that we both really enjoyed.

We had heard this the place for burgers in Muskegon, so we had to try it. Located in a former car repair shop, the restaurant had a diner atmosphere. The restaurant is not as big as expected and the wait time was 15-20 minutes, and we were seated within 20 minutes. We heard the burgers were the best, and they have a variety of options, but my husband and I split the Signature burger. A burger topped with grilled onions, bacon and cheddar cheese and fries. The half pound burger was large enough to share and the burger was juicy and tender. They do also have other menu items, chicken, burritos and a large variety , but burgers were the most popular choice. Service was fast and efficient, and the servers helped one another to ensure we were taken care of. Definately recommend !

Great experience overall, the outside of the restaurant had a "Johnny Rocket" feel to it, the inside looks cozy and fun with all the twinkle lights. We sat outside where service was quick! The food was tasty overall, I was impressed with the wet burrito. And the chili cheese fries lacked a bit of flavor but still tasty, I'd probably order them again.

The Atmosphere here is an older Auto repair shop, turned into a restaurant. Plus a retro dinner feel added in. The place looks like it should be larger, but is somehow smaller on the inside. I ordered the Macho Nacho Burger ($14.25), this is a 1/2 Ib patty topped with a melted mini nacho. It was very good. Juicy and gooey, with a crunch from the tortilla chips. Perfectly cooked using a very good piece of beef. I also got some Onion Rings ($3.75). They were good, maybe not the best ever, but a good side with a very good burger. I was with 2 other people and 1 got the Monterey Chicken ($14) and the other got the Sweet Chicken Salad ($19). They both really liked their meals. The salad looked generous and colorful. The service was excellent. Efficient and helpful. The only thing slightly negative is they have tiny round tables for 4. We had 3 and it was tight. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Yes, good burgers are always a up for a return.

Been loving this place since moving here over 20 years ago. They don't skimp on anything with the food, so plan on leftovers! Lots of menu options all with amazing flavor. This was my first time getting the nachos (buffalo chicken); my friend got the beef version... both of us left happy and full! From previous visits, the burgers are fantastic and they are also known for their burritos. Interior is a fun car theme (Corvette mounted on the wall) with cool lighting. Small tables, but totally doable... get cozy with your company. :) I do miss the old chairs, but the new ones are cool, too. Staff is ALWAYS sweet, helpful and fast. There's good reason this is a staple of Muskegon. Plan on a good wait Friday & Saturday evenings, probably during the weeknights too during summer. Oh, and they put in a new patio for outdoor seating!!! This may help with the wait... ;)

Ample parking, friendly staff, Jenny, our server, was awesome. We sat outside at a high top table and I was thrilled when I saw the added seat cushions. My husband kept commenting on how nice the table was but my immediate thought was wow, this outdoor patio is on the perfect side of the building. No glaring sun to get in your eyes. It was super nice and cozy. Food was great. Trey had the Wet beef burrito and the proportion was so generous, he had to leave some behind... which is rare for my robust eater. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of chili. Ask for dessert... they make "The Smallest Sunday" and it's perfect to round out your meal with a bit of sugar. But not too much that you leave stuffed to the gills. Trey wants to go back and order a burger. He's a burger guy, so, I was surprised he didn't get one but he said he was glad he tried something different. Very happy... Enjoy!

Much like a sweet food made…read morefrom fruit and sugar boiled to thick constancy that doesn't belong to me, it's not my jam. But I'm beginning to think it's one thing to review a local eatery that isn't your typical franchise owned restaurant just might not be a bad idea. I saw this place open up late summer and logged it away in the Restaurants I Want to Try (But Will Probably Forget About) folder. Well guess what. I remembered. The real reason is partly because I was introduced to a real Chicago dog while on a food trip in the Windy City. So now was my opportunity to try a Chicago dog from somewhere NOT Chicago. Also, I saw they served Italian beefs. Or is it beeves? And we all know I'm an 18th century street walker for some Italian beeves. Its location is pretty spot on for a place like this. Lakeside, is what it's called. The area. Not the restaurant. Pay attention. Inside is spacious and clean. Plenty of booths (boofs? Booves?) for hotdog consumption. It's an order at the counter type of place. Classic restaurant. I ordered a Chi Dog with a side of chili cheese fries. Did you see the photos of that dog? It tastes exactly like it looked. Like magic. Dog, tomato slice, pickle spear, sports peppers, relish, mustard. I grew WAY up since just ketchup. But I still haven't grown out of eating cold hotdogs. Nothing beats a midnight snack of a cold dog. Anyways. This thing is a beast. Not for the faint of heart or tiny of mouth. This is one of those dogs that once you start eating, you can't put it down because it's just so messy. In a beautiful way. True story coming up, my first bite launched my pickle spear out the tail end of my dog. I might lie about a lot of things, but never the evacuation of a pickle from a hotdog. If you like Chicago or hotdogs or food or things in general, get this dog. My side order of chili cheese fries looked like something out of an art gallery. They used crinkle cut fries, which are god tier fries. They also loaded it up with chili, which I feel everybody else usually lacks what the "proper" amount of chili is. But I will sadly have to dock a point or two for Chili Flavor. It seemed to lack a little bit of...something. It tasted better than plain ground beef, but something a little under chili. It wasn't bad at all. It's meat and cheese on fries. They were more Chili Adjacent Cheese Fries. Windy City Dog in My Hometown: 11/10 Almost Chili Cheese Fries: 8/10 Getting to get a taste of their au jus from a plastic ramekin: 15/10

The main area has one pool table with a king of the hill setup(challenge the winner) of rules next to it which I haven't seen at a lot of bars before. I love the idea of some grizzled pool master holding the table at will and taking on all newcomers. The "pool room" wasn't updated with the rest. While the furniture is dated (and some like it that way), It has two well loved pool tables that haven't been neglected maintenance wise. The individuals that have the gumption to preform Karaoke are worth the trip to check some of them out.
