I went with one of the seasonal specials, the banana bread matcha. It didn't take too long to come out and it was very tasty - not really what I was expecting, but I liked it. We arrived mid-late afternoon and the restaurant was not busy but by the time our food arrived, Village Baker was pretty busy. The menu is huge but the blackened grouper sandwich was what my wife and I both chose. I was surprised how good it was because every February almost my entire diet is fresh grouper or mahi mahi. The dish here was definitely a worthy contender. Our friends ordered a Rueben and the Baker's Wife Pizza. Everything look so good. Since there were many items I'd like to try, we definitely need to come back. Service-Excellent. On our way our, we stopped at the attached bakery.
