After a morning of playing at the park, the kids wanted McDonalds. This was the closest one. They wanted to dine in. This McDonalds doesn't seem to care about dine in customers. Only drive-thru. They took a long time (I didn't time it, but I was getting very angry with how long it was taking to be acknowledged. The confusing methods they used at this location was that when you ordered at the counter, they give you a number stand you put at your table and being a dine-in order, they're supposed to bring your food to you. It says this on the number stand. I wasn't given a receipt after ordering, only a number stand. They didn't call our number, it never came, and after 11 minutes and my kids getting impatient with me over this long wait, I checked the online order spot where you can pick up your order. It wasn't there. So I decided to wait longer. Then after 20 minutes, I went back and saw 2 happy meals sitting on the online order counter and the drinks were wrong, the plain cheeseburger had everything on it, and one kid doesn't like the apple slices at McDonalds and ordered the extra fry but they gave them apple slices anyway. So I got in the long line of people who were waiting to order, get their order corrected like us, or finding out what was taking so long. I stood there watching a worker on their break help a guy who walked in with his drive-thru order that was messed up and showed him immediate service with kindness saying she didn't want him to wait after he'd been there so long. I was literally flabbergasted at that since he literally walked in, looked around for less than 30 seconds, and the lady on break was at his beck and call! As soon as she helped him, she sat back down to her lunch next to another employee on break and was laughing. Then we continued waiting for minutes. I was so pissed at this point and was looking around at other people waiting also looking pissed. So I just got their attention loudly because again, all that apparently matters to them is to drive-thru. The employee who came to help us looked like she was pissed at me and that I was in the way of her job. Apparently helping customers is not in her job description. She was about to blame me for ordering from the kiosk, but I said I ordered at the register and she rolled her eyes at me, scoffed, then fixed my order without so much as an apology or another word. The food was also cold and not good even though I thought it would be better when they replaced the 3 mistakes they made with the 2 happy meals we ordered. The ambiance is just like every McDonalds in the suburbs without a play place. They also don't clean the tables here. I'm not going to take my kids to this location again. Last night, my daughter went to get dinner with a friend. She called me and said she didn't have money so I sent in a mobile order. I accidentally made it a drive-thru order but I told her to go to the counter because, really, how hard is it for an employee to take the bag of food from the drive thru section to the counter section? It turns out it's very hard. They refused to honor the mobile order and told her to cancel the drive-thru order and make a pickup order instead. WHAT?!!! THE FOOD IS IN THE SAME BAG whether it's pickup or drive-thru! It takes literally less than 5 seconds to bring the bag to the counter! I have been patronizing this local MCDonalds restaurant since it opened. I went thru drive thru and Gabriella said she didn't speak English that well so I asked for the manager. The Manager had no name tag when asked her name she said "I don't have to give it to you" I was confused- On 8/7/23 I went in and spoke to Managers Spencer & GM Yessica. Yessica said Gabriella doesn't have to speak English 100% to work here. I said ANYONE who works in an American restaurant where English is the native language should speak and comprehend their PAYING CUSTOMERS. I explained that I travel to countries and when I don't speak the language I struggle and use apps to communicate. Please HIRE PEOPLE that can service Americans and speak English. This review is specifically for customer service and my guy Pete. This location has always had good customer service but tonight was exceptional. First time in multiple visits that my order wasn't right. Specifically I ordered two shakes and only got one among other items. When I received the rest of the order I asked Pete about the second shake and he informed me the order was only for one. I was just going to drive off but Pete could tell I wasn't lying about ordering two and ran in and got me another shake -- free of charge. It was a small gesture but it meant a lot and speaks to the level of customer service this location has. Pete, you're the man! read more

Absolutely horrible. Manager said goes by the name of Bea was absolutely rude and did not try to help my situation. They bagged the wrong order for DoorDash. Understand mistakes happen but there was no apology or help to resolve. Just put it on DoorDash. She then said she did not bag the order so I asked to speak to a manager because I would think that's something they should be aware of a try to fix. Well now that I've been inside, I will increase my review slightly. Yes they have a fancy new interior... with what they make I would expect spas and pools eventually... Or maybe a hotel like Taco bell did. Anywho... I always have hated the new electronic menu. Every time I try and look at a screen it changes. This one only changes slightly with pricing and sizes, so it's not that bad. What irritated me though was, I'm on a budget and they have almost completely done away with the dollar-ish menu. I had to ask how much a cheeseburger was and a Mc Chicken was! They now have these together in a $3 menu item and no longer priced alone. Never have I been so disgusted that I had to throw away our food. We were given a cup holder for our drinks and it literally smelled like POOP!!! The smell was so strong, it ruined our appetite. Since we were driving, we actually had to pull over to the nearest garbage can to dump the food we just ordered. I will never recommend this location to others. With the pandemic going on? I'm saying hello, hello but no answer. I have to pull to the window to get service. The young man gives me my food w/ no sauces for the nuggets. He had an attitude when I request the sauces I ordered. The fries are brown and definitely not to McDonalds standard. It's a bunch of teenagers working this location and I try my hardest to avoid this location. I just happened to be on that side of town and the next location was out of my way. I HATE this McDonalds. "Thunderously mediocre" (thank you, Santa Clarita Diet). They have repeatedly messed up our order. Missing items, wrong size, etc. I completely understand that, in the age of COVID, perfection is unrealistic. But again, this is not a single instance: it is multiple times. (Moreover, during one botched attempt, the manager claimed she could not refund the missing items but would send us a coupon for future use. The coupon still hasn't arrived, so I suppose I should have pressed her on her definition of future.) Other fast food restaurants have never made these amateurish mistakes. Our straightforward orders are always prepared without incident. Perhaps those other restaurants are eager to retain customers in these times but McDonald's is making so much money that it need not care about customer service. Bottom line: go elsewhere if at all possible; if not, check your order with the scrutiny of an IRS auditor. read more

Ordered 2 Happy Meals at the Drive Thru. When I returned home I was disgusted by finding somebody else's trash in one of the boxes! The Apple slices bag was open, some apple slices have been already chewed and also found crumpled up wrap. Called the store, asked for the manager (Ms. Ashley) who asked to go back to the store with the bag (I asked if they were going to perform a DNA test or Covid test). So I did, when I got there she wanted to know if I wanted a store credit. I simply wanted to bring to her attention and her staff the lack of management, basic hygiene and the serious health risk she put my family against; especially considering Covid-19. Seeing all of these poor reviews feels very misleading. This is easily my favorite Mcdonald's location - from the staff to the efficiency. Their morning manager (I believe her name is Elena), is one of the sweetest women to work fast food. I've been there more times than most people go in their lifetime, and the only mixup i've ever had was accidentally receiving a coke instead of a diet coke (which was corrected immediately). I never had to do one of these before! but my experience was so TERRIBLE that I had to. I'm a mother of a 4 year old special needs boy who just left an already difficult haircut session at snip snips due to my sons sensory issues. I was able to stop him from his already over an hour meltdow by telling him I would treat him to a happy meal at McDonald's (he loves the toys in the meal so instantly calmed down) I arrived to McDonald's excited to finally make some progress in my day. I ordered a chicken nugget happy meal for him and when I received it it had no toy and no sauce. so I parked and called the restaurant. after the lady of the phone laughed at my request of a toy and sauce because my son was screaming and crying for it she told me wait in the car and when they come outside with my toy and sauce to flag them down to receive it. I waited 20 minutes and no one came, so I called again. the second lady told me someone would come out and yet no one came again after waiting another 10 minutes I reversed and went to drive thru. the young girl on the microphone who was extremely understanding and apologetic began to tell me the reason they didn't come was because the manager wanted me to go inside. LOL!!! one ...I was not told to go inside (which I shouldn't even have to for THEIR mistake) and two, I have a special needs son and a newborn in a huge car seat. I can't go inside. she told me to pull to the window and she would give me the toy and sauce. so I did and finally after 33 minutes, I got my sauce and toy my son wanted . super sad , as someone who has a family member who owns a few McDonald's im extremely disappointed. this is not what they represent. and as for the manager , shame on you and your staff who thought it was funny that a special needs boy wanted his sauce and toy. You guys added 1000XS more stress to my already stressed day. I know you guys could careless because because clearly half of you lack empathy and core values as a human.
