We used to love it here. Coming back a few years later really gone downhill. The service just seemed lackluster and no enthusiasm. We were seated in a booth with a big ol' rip in the seat. Arrived on a Sunday at 12.30pm for a late Mother's Day celebration. Service is always great here. That said, we ordered the red sangria which seemed kind of weak or watered down which was kind of disappointing from the bar. Such a great experience for kids! And so many options on the menu- lots of great lunch prices too. The kids menu is affordable and came with a main, a side, a drink and then a full activity booklet, 5 crayons, a dog headband and a full page of STICKERS. This was my 18 month olds dream restaurant experience! For the grown ups, so many choices we will have to come back but I really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. I ordered the beef burger with ribeye shavings, a Caesar salad, and the candy bacon which is an absolute must-try. The chicken Caesar salad was surprisingly good, especially since that's not something I usually go for. As for the burger, the added ribeye was just okay. Honestly, I'd recommend sticking with the regular half-pound burger and saving a few bucks. Overall, the service was great and the food was satisfying. This place sat like 25 of us and still had so many other guests to serve. Everything was so good. We sat outside where they allow dogs hence the name! You could never tell there were animals out there the place was so clean. It was covered and had walls but like you were still outdoors. Started the afternoon off on the groggy side with the weather and overwhelming holiday weekend and we were in much need of a debrief. Luckily, Lazy dog provided a great friendly atmosphere with friendly service and great vibes all around. We were personally big fans of the dog theme around the restaurant and especially the dogs chillin on the patio. Those furry friends even had a blast at this lovely establishment. We thought the food was above average but nothing special and we were very satisfied leaving with full stomaches. Giannas grilled cheese was perfectly cooked and thank god shes not lactose in tolerant. Aidans burger was slightly overwhelming and messy and eventually had to bring out the big guns with the cutting knife. Lazy dog is one of the more upbeat yet laid-back atmospheres in the block 59 area. Have been there multiple times and every single time it's enjoyable. The food is higher quality than the normal restaurant/bar in the area. The hot honey feta dip is a MUST try. The cocktails are always delicious, fresh and usually have some speciality drinks that go with the seasons. It can get busy on the weekends especially so expect some sort of wait otherwise the bar is open seating. We enjoyed our meal but to tell you the truth the wings did not look appetizing, as you can see in the photo they did not look seasoned and seems that is the norm, I have never seen any place serve with this pale color but tried them and they had a good taste but only complaint is presentation! He was promptly greeted, then we ordered coffee and later foods and of course puppy meal. Overall service was top notch, we do not feel uncomfortable during our visit! The burger arrived perfectly cooked and at a half pound, it was hefty. It was seasoned perfectly (a tad messy) with the toppings of guac, hatch chiles, jack roasted jalapeno-lime aioli, lettuce, tomato and pickle, the bun struggled to hold it together. But it was messy in a great delicious way. The Lazy Dog has a good variety on the menu, and the food was served rather quickly considering we were a party of 8. It comes with some kind of vegetable mix and brown rice also terrific and the meal with a cup of coffee and it was great. It was timely and we made our date at the Paramont theater with no problem.
