When I got there, they didn't have their holiday menu out yet, but the staff was happy to make my GBL anyway, so that was much appreciated. For people like me who prefer to make their coffee more like a dessert, they have lots of different flavored lattes on their menu. I also had a breakfast burrito, which was fine. If you're not familiar with the area, your GPS will probably lie to you about the location. It's right next to the visitors center, with a good sized parking lot. That is a good and a bad thing. It's good for their bottom line and a bad thing for my waistline and weight. At least when I walk there, I am burning some of the calories I will consume. During the week, I enjoy stopping by and grabbing a pastry or two. It's hard to only buy one, when they have so many to choose from. I then continue on my way and enjoy a Blueberry Scone or Raspberry Lemon Cannoli at my leisure later in the day. When it's the weekend, that is when I dine in and enjoy the full experience of LuciAnna's. I either take a patio table which is pet friendly, or a relaxing table inside the charming dining room. I order at the counter and get my table marker, so they know where I am seated. It brunch time, so that also means it is Bloody Mary time. I always have mine with a cup of black coffee chaser. The two balance each other out. My two favorite entrees are; Waffles or anyone of their Benedicts. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with either of them. Enter Pine Mountain Country Coffee on Festus Main Street. This is a mini Cracker Barrel. If you look around, it will resemble Cracker Barrel. They have all the candies and the sweets and the baked items. It's adorable inside. Their coffee is strong, it's great, and you should be supporting Local businesses like this. The service is genuine and way faster than the chains. Do not make me go protest in the Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts parking lots. Don't do that to me.

When I worked down the street, I would often come for their cold brew coffee, fir an afternoon pick me up. They also serve some pretty amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches on New York bagels. Weekend hours are longer over the summer and early fall staying open until 10pm but as they hit October the hours shift to close by 9 o'clock on the weekends. They have cute ice cream cone seating tables as well as an old time soda bar. Definitely our families go-to ice cream splurge. I love that it's on Main Street with all the cute boutiques, shopping and local events.
