Don't go here unless you want to be super late to work, get to the window and they say "we don't have your order on the screen" even though you placed it AT the speaker, then drive off and they STILL got your order wrong. Went through drive through. Tried to order 2 breakfasts. After the first breakfast the woman rudely told us to pull ahead. We tried to tell her THREE times that we were not done ordering but she wouldn't listen. The cashier told us that we were talking to the asst. manager so when we got to the pick up window we tried to complain. Very frustrating for a couple of reasons. One: this is the second time this month that I went there for a hot, carmel macchiato and the first time I was told that they were out of the carmel for the macchiato, and today, their McCafe machine is down. REALLY?? I can understand that there will be equipment failure, but there's always something at this McDonald's. Second, why do people think they can go around those waiting in line for the drive thru to place their order at the outside lane. I had two people that were behind me, place their order before me. Hello people . . . do you not see us waiting! It's one lane for drive thru and when you get up to both ordering stations, you get to choose which one let's you go next! We decided to see the newly remodeled McD in New Berlin. I figured by now all the remodeling dirt and filth would have been hauled out or already eaten by other customers after a good two months or more after the renovations. The new interior is what I would describe as senior unfriendly. The new layout does not promote socialization, or a long term stay. The number of comfortable booths has been lowered to about 1/4 of what it was before. The tables where people might gather have narrow and hard molded plywood looking seats. Other tables are tiny with two hard and narrow seats. The rest of the seating is high in the air with stools and such, granny could easily break her hip with a misstep on dismounting, lol! Looks to me like they are discouraging people 'hanging around' and just want people to buy and leave. Curiously, the doors had all been replaced. The former double doors replaced by narrow single doors. This caused a traffic jam as we were trying to enter and a family with three kids trying to leave. That change was really dumb. To add to the confusion each door is prominently labeled with a large EXIT sticker you can see only from inside. So the people leaving feel they have 'priority' and the people coming in are doing something wrong, like using the wrong door...duh! read more

Just got back from McDonald's here in New Berlin, great customer service. Ordered 2 shakes and 2 cones and pulled up to the window to pay. This is Sunday at 8 pm with no cars ahead of us and no one inside, we wait 5 minutes for her at the window. Then she tells us the machine is broken for the shakes do we still want the cones? You're just telling us this now, why the wait, how about giving us 2 extra cones for free. The young girl asked her supervisor and and we could hear her reply was, "not going to happen, they have to pay, not getting them free, not going to happen." She didn't have the curtisy to come to the window to tell us, she was next tothe counter. I don't think this would have happened at a corporate store. read more

This location is near my house, and while every once in a while I expect a mix up with a drive thru order, they missed something in every one of the last FIVE orders. Most recently they completely missed TWO burgers. Previously they missed two hash browns, and before that it was fries, a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. When I went back in, because I was already home by the time I noticed the order was wrong (on a few previous ones) I went back in and the tween at the drive through was oblivious, as well as the manager. All I got was a "sorry" and they gave me a new burger. Witht he most recent two burgers missing, I spoke with a Pablo who said they would either reimburse me or I could come in. I'm sure they will just be replaced with nothing else. This McDonald's has the worst customer service. read more

I recently visited this location & decided to eat inside compared to my normal drive thru experience at this location. Recently they remodeled this place both inside & out & I must say they did a good job. The updates outside include a new facade & more parking including a couple really nice handicapped parking spots. When I entered we were greeted nicely by the man working the counter. After getting our order we sat down at one of the newly updated booths, you see this place has a sort of modern appeal with pastel colors & even a nice TV. The booth we sat in was unlike what I've seen at any McDonalds in the shape of a "C" with padded brown seating. The food we had was good compared to another McDonald's I've had in the West Allis area which was pitiful. All in all I must say it was a good experience & I will definitely be back. read more

As a long-time fan of McD's regular coffee, I've been going to this location for years. It is falling apart. They are not waiting on both lines in the drive-thru. I've seen people drive away out of frustration. Today was my turn to sit in the right-hand drive thru and not get waited on. After 6 minutes, and several cars in the left-hand lane going through, I drove up to the window and asked to place my order. No apology. Then they were out of coffee. Instead of asking me to pull ahead and making coffee and they gave me the coffee as it was being made. Tasted terrible. Good luck McD's. I can get coffee many other places. read more

Great looking restaurant. Food quality has recently deteriorated. Food looks and tastes like it has been sitting out for a while. Fries are either soggy or dried out because they have been sitting out for a while. If there aren't alot of cars in the parking lot I would just keep driving because you are not going to get fresh food. read more

This McDonald's keeps getting worse. Before today, while waiting at the drive thru saw a worker come out the back door, go to his car, and walk back without removing his sanitary gloves. Another time at the drive thru, I ordered my meal with a ice cream cone. Everything showed up on the screen correctly, proceeded to the first window to pay, but when I got to the second window to pick up my order I was informed that the ice cream machine was down that day. It took them a while to figure out that since I wouldn't be getting an item I shouldn't be charged for it. Another time, I asked for a drink carrier since I was picking up three large sodas by myself. I got a response from the kid behind the pickup window if I had asked for it when I placed my order. Last week, when I picked up my order, the employee passing it to me was kind of waving it around for me to grab because he was busy talking to another employee. Today, at the drive thru, I was picking up a large coke. It wasn't even two-thirds full. I got the employee 's attention and then I got a response of "What, what do you want?". She made the excuse that it was the machine. Either the machine is calibrated incorrectly, she has trouble seeing, or she doesn't care. Also, they fail here to grasp the concept of drive-thru and fast food. It's gotten worse as the personnel has changed. read more

About 40 minutes ago, we stopped at the Drive-Thru of the New Berlin McDonald's on Moorland Road. We ordered three items and asked if we could have a glass of water as well. When we got to the window and received our order, there was no water. When we inquired about it, the young lady at the window said, "If you want water, you have to come inside or wait for us to bring it out to you. We can't interrupt our other customers." While we could think of many ways to remedy this, and the fact that it has never happened to us at any other McDonald's, we just said, (politely) "Well, never mind" and started to pull away whereupon this young woman stuck her head out the window and hollered in a loud voice, "And, you have a wonderful day, ASSHOLE!" I'm not kidding. That's what she said! I realize that sometimes even good people have bad days, but that was so totally impertinent and uncalled for. We should have just gone in and told the manager, but were on our way somewhere, so could not. We will not be coming back to this location and we will tell all our friends as well. read more
