This McDonalds almost never gets my order right, but today they really out did themselves. They somehow forgot to put my burger on my burger. i Got a bun and that was it. So what happened to the Newburgh McDonalds? about 2 months ago, things changed and it was clean, fast, the food was good. Service was good and the French fry alarm was not continually blaring. Today we go and its like the bad old McDonalds from the past. Very long wait for Quarter Pounder and when it came it was lukewarm at best. Receipt attached to the tray also said 4 piece Nugget with bar-b-que sauce. None was there. I asked for it and was told they;d bring it right away. She asked if we had drinks and she said, well you pick up your cups at the register. What? It didn't say drinks on the receipt? Yes it did. So we went an got our own cups. I guess lesson is don't order drinks and just get some cups on your own. Meal was not good. Just as we were leaving and she asked if we got the bar-b-que sauce. I said no but we're finished now. Oh and nice to eat with the French fry alarm blaring the whole time and being ignored. Count this McDonalds out again. Too bad. The one on Burkhart isn't that close but it functions well at least. It's unfortunate that things has changed over the years, for good service with a good quality of product. Yesterday, I tried to get a six piece nugget and fries. Paid for it. Only to receive fries were burnt and not filled as suppose but get the food thrown at me as if I was suppose to accept that type of behavior. As I sit, the drive-thru worker isn't coming with the addition order for my car, finally she comes and I'm telling her I have an additional order, she gives it to us. The fries were not filled as suppose as well. We go into the restaurant to discuss with the Manager and she was just rude!! I told her about the food been thrown at me, and what if I returned the favor of throwing it back. She replied, it would've been Assault on a Minor..I said NO, it would've been assault on a disabled person!! I said I would like to have my food but instead she insisted on returning my money; which was fine. Finally, I got her name and requested that I speak with the district manager for the store. She'd given the name of Zach and that I would receive a call yesterday.. I have not received no response. I've tried to patronize this store at times. However, there's no work ethic at all..from hanging out the windows, passing out wrong orders, giving out old food and burnt food, to vaping while assisting customers. When does poor service end??? Discovered A small hamburger in the bag instead of the item I ordered when I arrived home @ 10:10 PM. Not what I ordered. Definitely not the same price. We have been amazed at the difference in the service between the Newburgh location & the Boonville location. In our experience the Boonville McDonald's has always done an outstanding job. Definitely worth driving a few extra miles to avoid patronizing the Newburgh site. read more

Went to this shithole again this morning, stood there for over 20 minutes before getting helped. Once I ordered I was there another 30 minutes before finally getting a refund. I literally watched the little manager ignore people in the dining area to handle drive through. Then to make matters worse the young kid they have working the front counter asking every one to take a survey to earn him an extra $5.00 was useless as tits on a toothbrush. Another customer wanted some biscuits and gravy and the ignorant person up front told the customer they didn't sell it anymore when I had in fact just ordered it along with breakfast burritos. Then when he inquired about it, she told him that I didn't know what I was talking about, I had my receipt in my hand that I showed him before he went to ask. So with all this said, this McDonald's is literally the worse in the area and nothing is done when you complain about the service, or lack there of, on the phone number provided on the wall. Maybe they need to get more managers involved instead of disgruntled employees. It's no wonder I can drive 3 minutes down the road and get my breakfast faster and fresher from Hardee's. read more

Well, the place is getting a *little* better than it used to be, but not by much. Slow, unfriendly service. Employees haven't ever been downright rude, but you could tell they'd rather be getting their teeth pulled than be working there. It only took about 8 minutes to get my drink and a plain McChicken on the last visit. But that's not even a complicated order and I can guarantee it doesn't take that long to make my food elsewhere. If it weren't for the $1 drinks, I would never come to this location. There are so many better options - pay the extra money to go to Sonic across the highway, go up the road to DQ, or if you really want McDonald's then make your way to Boonville or Evansville. read more

By far the SLOWEST drive thru of ANY fast food restaurant. It's been this way for years even under new management. Boonville, 10 miles away, has the fastest McDonald's drive thru of any McDonald's I have ever been to with the same, if not more, traffic. STRONGLY considering writing to corporate to have this place either closed or the staff fired and a new re-trained crew take over. The SLOWEST, SLOWEST, most ridiculously slow and incompetent crew I have EVER witnessed. INCLUDING the management. It doesn't matter if you are in the drive through (which even at off-times the line wraps around the building - not that they are so good, but that they are that slow) or you venture into the building, thinking you will save some time (you don't - but what you DO get is a first-hand view of total incompetence!) - you aren't getting out of this place faster than 15-20 minutes. FOR MCDONALD'S!?!? Taking a stroll INSIDE the restaurant is just for laughs. The staff will stop in the middle of filling an order to discuss what they have been doing on their off-hours with other staff members while the packed lobby mumbles and curses under their breath. Complain to the management? HONESTLY, I have never seen such a unqualified group of ...(I have to watch my temper here).... business misfits. NO-ONE at this location deserves to keep their jobs. NONE of them could make it at even an average McDonald's - let alone an efficient one. CORPORATE? Are you listening? (look at these ratings!!!) Is anyone there????? I understand we are in a pandemic. I understand being overwhelmed and low wages. The quality of the food today was just bad. You can't cook up stuff and let it sit for hours then serve it. Quarter pounder tasted like it was cooked at least 2 hours before I got it and the coldest chicken nuggets I have ever had. The fries were not a full order and also cold. I ordered a coke no ice. They were out of Coca Cola. I said just give me a diet. Wow. The sign outside says hiring dependable people. Maybe pay a bit more and get some people that will serve edible food. The McDonald's in Newburg is the worst place I've ever been to. Ever single thing in our order was bad. Happy meal literally came with 4 fries (cold), drinks wrong size. They replaced the incorrect sweet tea (we ordered unsweetene) that was a medium with yet another sweet tea just bigger. Both of our large fries were cold and they didn't give any Sauces to the kids for meals. we told them at drive thru there were only 4 kid fries so they replaced with more cold fries. I went back inside when I realized our fries were cold and the employees were dirty looking, ignoring me and cussing. When I finally summoned someone she was rude and just told me throw the fries away and she would get more. Pretty much shoved those to me. I said we want bbq sauce that we didn't get too please. Long pause and eye roll later I got some. Then they were cussing on my way out the door. Pretty sure it was towards me. Avoid this nasty crap hole with dirty rude children for employees. First time I have ever seen a McDonald's commit so many health violations! The place was so dirty and so so slow. Saw a female worker take out a box of frozen french fries set it on the floor then step on top of it to reach something up higher. she steps of the dirty contaminated box opens it puts fries in the freezer with never washing her hands. Saw only one older male worker wearing gloves while messing with the food. Also dropped food in their package and still served it. We waited for about 25 minutes to get our cold food.
