We talked to the person there and found it was run by his family, and they do an exceptional job. My wife had the Liberty Cheesesteak with added onions while I had a combo Italian Beef/Italian Sausage sandwich - dipped with added onion, hot pepper and cheese. We also had a side of fries. Both sandwiches were big, which you would expect. The Philly had finely chopped steak with the peppers, onions and cheese all mixed in. My wife said it was fantastic. My combo was incredible. The beef was seasoned perfectly and was clearly not sitting all day in the au-jus (which when talking to the owner afterwards he confirmed was the case). You can always tell this because the meat had a nice texture and was not overly salty, but instead as I stated seasoned and cooked perfectly. Additionally, the fries were well cooked, crisp and hot. They take care to keep the oil fresh and clean, so the fries taste like fries instead of old dirty oil. As an added bonus he even treated my pup to a small dish of ice cream which she enjoyed on a hot day. Fortunately, we showed up a little after the lunch rush and was able to spend a few minutes talking about the business and baseball and our combined hate of the dreaded Dodgers. The drink was awesome, I could still feel the fizz from the root beer. Onion rings were delicious, cooked to perfection and I loved that the onion didn't slide out every time I took a bite. The Coney Island cheese dog was also perfect. Usually I pull off pieces of bun when I have chili dogs because it's just too much bread and too dry. Not so with this hot dog. Just the right blend of soft, squishy bread, dog, and toppings. Gotta give a shout-out to the friendly staff, too. Best 13 bucks I've spent in a long time. It wasn't the quality of the sandwich that was the issue--it was simply far too heavily spiced for my taste. If you enjoy bold, heavily seasoned Italian sausage, you may like it, but I found the spices completely overpowered the flavor of the meat.
