Not sure what has happened to the N Muskegon store but I am very close to walking away and go someplace else. Service suddenly is terrible, staff unfriendly and doesn't care. Line is very very slow, takes forever to get through. Today I ordered a chicken sandwich. Meat had been cooked for a very long time, overdone, cold, bare bun--just chIcken and veerrryyyy old bread. Threw it away. Where is the old staff? I recognize no one and I am there five mornings a week. This has to be in the running for the worst McDonald's in America. This morning I pulled into line with two cars in front of me, the person taking orders took it upon herself to take one order every 5-10 minutes. Went through the drive through and waited 5 min to order a meal. When I finally got to order a number 5 an 2 mcckickens payed for the meal. Then drove up to the next window waited 13 minutes to get a bag basically tossed in my hand and was told sorry for the wait closed the window and walked away. Dumb me didn't look and see if all my stuff was in there and once again it wasn't no fries. I called and all they can say is sorry for the inconvenience and they are short staffed. Beautiful establishment on the inside. Very well maintained with clean atmosphere. Only issues that caused this to be 2 stars were: the management or lady that took my order clearly being in a bad mood. No greeting, no thank you or your welcome, and also slammed my fries on my tray as well as drop the tray in front of me causing dry crumbs to get on me. Fries were also unsalted and clearly either over cooked (very difficult to over cook McDonald's fries by the way due to the process they go through to ensure all fries are perfect) or simply not fresh. Fries were warm at best. Other than those issues, if you have no true expectations for the establishment then go for it. But don't expect too much from your fries or from the lady that looks like the soccer mom of a middle school drop out. read more

Employees are rude with the exception of 1 or 2. Manager is worse, Don't bother explaining nicely to her your order isn't right she gets pissed at you like it's your fault then expects you to drive back around and get back in line. Happened to me on several occasions as well as several other people I know. We all go to the Holton road location by Rays now. We came here for a snack and to load our 3DSs up with Miis. They accepted my Monopoly food redemption coupon with no issue. There is not sufficient transparency with the window deals to see what the offers are from the inside, so they did not initially understand which window deal I wanted, but eventually I managed to communicate it. One should probably memorize the window deals before coming in. The food came out slow for fast food standards primarily because we didn't order a lot--there might have been too many people using the drive-thru. In contrast to warm climate locations, this place offers soup, which I have only seen before in cold climate locations during winter time. This establishment has a fireplace inside of it. read more

While this McDonald's has been around for years they just recently renovated the entire place. This means it does have the self ordering machines and over all gives off a clean atmosphere. Besides that it is mostly what you would expect of a McDonalds. read more

This is my first time ever coming to this McDonalds in my area. I am thoroughly disappointed in this experience, although the Establishment had an amazing environment. The cashier seemed very displeased when I came in and as I waited and looked at the menu she looked really angry at us for it. We ordered and we got our food she slammed our trays on the counter, fly even flew out from the fry container. We seemed really unwelcome, in short. I got only two McChickens and a medium fry. I go to this McDonald's the most out of all the ones near me because of the convenient location (I go on the causeway to work everyday) and haven't really had much to complain about. One time they gave me someone else's order which I wasn't very happy about since I was looking forward to what I actually ordered, and they failed to answer the first two times I tried calling. But once I DID get ahold of someone they agreed to give me my meal for free. When I went back later in the week I went inside and told the girl at the front what happened and she was very cool about it. She even made it a large (even though I only ordered a medium before) and asked if I wanted a free apple pie thing to go with it. So yeah, few complaints here and there but it's not bad. read more

Ordered 1 quarter pounder with cheese with No onions, and 1 order of chicken strips select. Told it would take 6 minutes for chicken. Eleven minutes later we were told they had No chicken strips. Offered to replace chicken strips with Artisan sandwich. Quarter pounder came out incorrect...with onions. The half dollar piece of chicken was the saddest excuse for an Artisan chicken sandwich.
