have lived in the area for 21 years and once or twice a week the family wants to have fast food or order out. here's the important thing to remember: this is the absolute worst mcdonald's i have ever been to but the closest to my home without food getting cold before getting home. i have tried and tried time after time to go to the drive thru and place the order for only four people and they never i mean ever get it right. theres always something missing or wrong item(s) in bag or ask for special order like no ketchup or add lettuce and tomatoes etc. i'm sure you get the idea. so now i never leave the drive thru without counting items which they are supposed to check it twice before i even get it but i usually count and they still get it wrong. then i get home and they gave me the wrong item(s). i always call and complain and they say to come back and they would fix it. and no one wants to go back while all other food gets cold and they say when i come back next time to mention their name and they will replace item. we never go right back another day soon and just let it go and order without mentioning what happened previously... today they got the order so wrong we had no choice but to go back because too much was wrong with the order. called and went back for them to get order fixed. got home and order was wrong again on two of the sandwiches. whenever someone says that mcdonald's got their order wrong i say "let me guess it was from ralphs corner lansdale location". 99% of the time wrong! do yourself a favor and skip this location all together and as a matter of fact there is a wendys a chick fi a a freddys a chipotle and wawa across the street. so plenty other options that i have never had any issues with. very disappointed not worth the aggravation read more

This place is set up to encourage you to use the drive through, there's no way to approach the doors on foot except to walk across the path of the cars on the drive through so there is literally a risk just to get in the door. Although the seating area is very nice the cooking area always seems dark and a little dingy. The staff is inconsistent at best. Some are very nice, some are rude. Which sort of adds to the tension. With covid it has gotten worse. A sign says masks must be worn but many of the staff have the masks on their chins. Well I guess they're being worn, just not correctly. Also after more than a year of the touch screen kiosk being shut down they now insist that be used for ordering instead of just talking to the person at the register. That's right, with COVID still a risk they want you to order food by touching a screen every other customer in the place has used. So dingy, potentially rude, a risk just to get in the door and then a very real health risk once you're in the lobby and you have to wonder "was it worth the trip?" read more

This is a very Inconsistent McDonald's when it comes to timing. Sometimes they're right on the money, other times you may have to wait. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it, but it happens. I've also run into a fair amount of issues using their mobile ordering system. read more

Went with three other friends after a long day of being out, and was met with unprofessionalism. A dear friend of mine's food was never brought out, despite her being the first to order in our group. This is quite possibly the worst McDonald's in the area. Our orders are always wrong. They forgot the fries. I asked for no cheese and they gave me cheese. This is the closest McDonald's near our resident. Since it's close we order here. One time my son went thru the drive thru, paid and went to get his lunch. Came home and was very upset that the order was order and his sandwich was not in the bag. He had to drive back to the McDonald to her his sandwich. Most of the time the order is wrong. I have told my family, before you leave the drive thru you MUST check your order. I am hoping that they will correct this problem. It's just sad that this is an on going problem. Well, I waited on the outside drive thru lane, while the drive thru employee served THREE cars on the inside drive thru lane. A truck was served right before me, so I know the intercom wasn't broken. When I tried to call to find out if there is a sensor when cars pull up, I couldn't get thru. The line was busy. I tried 13 times! See photo. I drove over to Wendy's and received instant service. This McDonald's is full of idiots. I gave the kid my gift card and my credit card to put the rest on. Charged my card.. never used the first card and tried to steal my gift card!!! Asked for a refund and they said it would be too much work for the line they had in drive thru. So I went because I had a gift card and it wasn't used. So really went there for no reason. My wife and I like and use this McDonalds too, but it can get crazy busy at times, and wait times can get long. Drive in service seems a little quicker than in store then, but we still like to go in and order. When wait times are long, that makes people cranky, and I've seen it here a couple of times. Mostly just the customers, but it can affect the staff once in a while-bless them for having to work in such a fast paced environment at those times. But Dominique (hope that is correct) is the manager, and she holds it together very well. She takes care of problems easily, and smiles easily too, and if you are a reasonable person, you know she is doing it well. I've seen another manager here too. Dominique is the one who I remember most though-well done and thanks for your smile and service-she has it together! Anyway, if you're heading out of town towards Hatfield, my favorite McDonalds is on 63 at Forty Foot road, on the right when you turn right onto Forty Foot road. They seem a little less rushed there, and Mike the manager that I know from here is great at being a friendly face when you need help. Part time help sometimes isn't always as efficient (new trainees, etc), as some longer employed workers in fast food restaurants, and remember, they aren't getting tips and such, so give them a break too and remember that when you expect a lot from them. McDonald's is still my favorite fast food restaurant since I was a teen in the 60's, and for good reason-the taste and a good deal when you need it. McDoubles are great value for the money, and I hope they keep putting them up at 2 for $2.50 on their deal menu, and we will keep coming back-or the double cheeseburger-same thing with 1 more slice of cheese! I want to try the Grand Mac still-sounds like a winner-a little more meat in those buns, with the great Big Mac flavor with the special sauce, etc. The regular Big Mac didn't seem like it had enough meat to offset the bread in recent years. Nothing wrong with the Quarter Pounder with cheese either-excellent burger! I would rather have one than most of the special burgers in most restaurant chains now, that cost $10 or more with fries and a drink! Clip your coupons, wait for a deal, or not-tasty is tasty, and McDonald's has defined it over the years. Just wish they would finally make up their mind to bring back the McRib for good, state wide wide here in the US-that was a great sandwich, and they keep test marketing it-bringing it back and taking it away like the carrot in front of the goat to propel Our Gang's cart! One time I got a Big Mac late afternoon and I found rings of onions, no lettuce and 2 cold patties stuck together. Then today (I just came back), I ordered large fries for my friend and a medium for myself, and the containers were less than half filled. The North Wales McDonalds saddens me. When this place opened 6 or 7 years ago, it was probably the best run McDonalds that I ever saw. The consistent crew worked hard and were really nice to each other. I used to dine there once per week. I assume this place changed ownership as that management/crew is long gone and what's there now are basically unemployable. I rarely go there but recently took my daughter for a simple order of pancakes. First, the dim-wit behind the counter saw I had a coupon and said I had to get in another line cause she wasn't "going thru that again". I didn't budge. We wait and wait and finally get this simple order and take it to the table only to find the order didn't had syrup, butter or even a knife/fork to eat it with. I go back and ask for these things and the dim wit who waited on me was on her Obama phone and was completely clueless where she'd find the butter packets. My daughter finally gets the gear to eat her meal and tells me it is awful (and she's not picky) as the pancakes had a hard crust around them. We throw out the inedible pancakes and leave. Totally obvious these pancakes were made many hours before and then over microwaved. Disgusting place. If I have a Mcd craving, I'll travel well out of my way and hit the Chalfont restaurant as that one is super nice and well run. read more
