I haven't been to this location in 6 years. It has been modernized; the interior has a more modern vibe and the chairs have a nice design. It is located in a shopping mall. We ordered the following: 1. Cheeseburger Deluxe ($3.89). 2. Sweet Chili Junior Chicken ($3.99). 3. Chocolate Shake (snack-sized $2.00). 4. Coke Zero (large summer promotion $1.59). 5. Fries (small $2.89). 6. 2 Baked Apple Pies ($2.19). The Sweet Chili was barely spicy. Both Apple Pies had burnt crusts. I've never seen that before. We ordered using self-order kiosk at 12:40. We received our order at 12:59. Granted that it was on a Sat lunchtime but I still feel it took a long time. This place has a drive-thru and self-order kiosks. 30% of the seating have electrical outlets. They removed the outdoor seating. The last times I came to this location were on 2019-09-29 and 2019-03-23. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms, both of which are wheelchair accessible and have baby change facilities. There is free parking in the mall. I didn't see any high chairs for little children. Omg not sure if it's because of the neighbourhood but ugg. The drive thru was a nightmare. The police literally pulled over some guys in the drive thru. But they were nice and let them grab their food first. It did take a very long time besides that to go through the drive thru and the woman working the food handout had some crazy attitude. I didn't believe the other reviews that this particular McDonald's was that bad, but it was. The sausage patty in my McMuffin tasted like they cleaned the grill with it, and it looked that way too when I inspected it after tasting something wrong in my first few bites -- there were pea-sized flecks of burnt material. I didn't want to finish it, but I was quite hungry so I did. I felt off for the next little bit and had to stop for water to cleanse my palette from the Harvey's up the road, which is where I recommend you go instead. 93% of all McDonald's are franchises, which means that individual franchisees can set their own prices, hire and train their own staff, and run a location that is inferior to all others in the region. read more

This location is below average. The main issue that consistently persists is that they barely put any sauce on all their burgers (especially on their big macs). I always have to ask for extra sauce to avoid eating a dry burger. BUYERS BEWARE: When the location is busy, they rush the cooking process in the back which results in the burgers tasting and even smelling raw (highly undercooked) I recently learned that McDonald's ice cream machines seem to break down at every location since it is designed to malfunction in order to pull money out of their franchisees with frequent repairs. It is not this location's fault and I actually feel bad that they have to keep paying to repair a machine that is designed to siphone money away from their business while upsetting customers who are unable to obtain what they seek. Ice cream machines from Wendys, Burger King, ect all never have this problem despite coming from the same manufacturer as McDonalds and this is all intentional. Shame on McDonald's corporate! Yes I'm reviewing a McDonald's. It's because I walked in here and noticed something that I've yet to see in a McD's! They have an electronic order machine. No need to talk to a human - just plunk in your order, get the receipt and then wait for your food! If you can't be bothered with a drive in (personally I like to stand by and watch the people who make my food like a hawk so they can't do something undesirable with it..) and then lines inside are long then there is this option to speed things up. Interesting..like the Jetson's coming to life! And who doesn't like the world the Jetson's live in? read more

I just don't get why there are so many flies in there. And like, why should I believe at least one of those flies hasn't dropped in the deep fry from time to time? Do they use that fry thing to get the crisped flies out or do the flies homogenize into the oils? I'm also trying so hard to understand why it takes longer to go inside and order than it takes to do the drive thru. I waited 15 mins for a McChicken meal. It's been like 500 years since the McChicken debuted so why does it take so long to make? I felt like a Karen in there. I was the only customer waiting for 15 mins..tjere were drive thrus and mobile deliveries but like, dude...I'm right in front of u what about mee?? And why'd they get rid of the carrot muffin? I like carrot muffins much more than those weird fruit and fibre muffins. Too many textures in that muffin. Anyway, I never normally get mcchickens. I'm a Jr chicken girl myself, but every now and again u gotta tap into the originator and recalibrate expectations. Been here a few times and I have always been impressed by the speed of their service. I have always gotten my orders right. There is a monitor that tells upcoming orders being made and what is the current order number they are serving. This was one of the earlier restaurants to get the new makeover, and though inside it looks good, there are quite a few migrants here who are pretty aggressive, plus there are serious problems on how this place is run. STAY AWAY and spend your money elsewhere. The people here are completely the worst, I can't honestly pick if it's the staff or the troubled youth that stay here all day. Staff here barely get orders right, and even if they do, you get shortchanged or get graced with their half assed effort. I always get fish filet, end up having the cheese on top or outside of my sandwich 80% of the time here. I was nearly pick-pocketed here by the migrants that frequent this place, but I had my wallet chained to my belt loop and scared the kid off when I looked over. I never go out of my way to write a review but i believe the experience that i have received at this particular mcdonald's deserves one. I came to this location and i was not familiar with the area so i came in from the back of the plaza and end up at the mcdonalds speaker. The gentleman on the speaker very rudely told me to go from the start of the line even though there was no one in line and i had no idea that i could not enter from that entrance. Instead of letting me know in a nice and respectful way he just kept telling me to move. Then he asked someone else to speak. She told me i'll make it an exception this time. After all that a car came behind me and got to order behind me, then that same gentleman started saying "she's holding up traffic" instead of helping me place my order after the other lady said i can. This is beyond ridiculous.. i have never experienced such customer service before. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waited 15 minutes for a coffee only to be told that the McCafe machine wasn't working. I tried to get a cashier's attention to ask about my coffee's status, only to have the cashier make eye contact with me and ignore me. I was not compensated for my wait or terrible customer service, rather I was just given a refund. This place was also the most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot in. There was soda spilled all over the floor, the tables had garbage and food on them and it seemed that nobody had bothered cleaning all day. read more
