Overall a decent bowl of pork ramen. It's nice having a ramen chain like this in Toronto. Good flavour and quality. If you eat enough ramen around the world, this is pretty average but priced higher I guess with no competition around. Also you pay the premium for the ambiance. Would be nice if there was an extra slice of pork. Also bad pork donburri and could use a little bit more meat/rice. Chicken karaage was nice and crispy and came out hot. Staff are super nice and do a good job. I'm only giving this 4 stars as it could be better value for the price (I don't mind paying but at least make your portion sizes bigger...it's just noodles and rice). $70 for two pork ramen, one pork donburri, one chicken karaage which covered tax and gratuities. read more

It was a chilly evening and Kinton Ramen in Don Mills Road sounds like a good idea. Mon, our server was awesome. She gave suggestions and answered our questions. She took our drink orders as we look on the menu. They offer a wide variety of ramens with pork, beef, chicken or vegetarian. We ordered the Beef Miso Ramen, Beef Original Ramen and the Pork Ramen. They were all delicious! The place have a cozy and huge dining area, with wooden table and chairs Kinton Ramen I was told, is proudly Canadian and aunthentically Japanese as they take pride in serving authentic Japanese flavors and dishes. One of my favourite ramen spot in the city! The interior in this location is very well done and the service is always great. My favourite from their menu is the pork spicy garlic ramen with a boiled egg as an add-on - SO GOOD! Ask them to remove the grated garlic if you're not a fan of the smell of it. read more

Slow service they talk more than working. Ordered a ramen got the noodles still hard and sticking to each other and the broth is bland.

My husband craved for ramen and found this newer restaurant by chance via Google and Yelp. Free parking in a huge lot shared with other businesses. Restrooms are available in the restaurant. High ceilings, modern, spacious, and open concept. My husband was curious to try a popular item, Tokyo Fries, served hot and crispy with the perfect amount of salt. I ordered the Pork Original Ramen which is one of their many selections that this establishment is popular for. Generous portions of pork. Broth tasted amazing! Must be the sea salt that makes a difference. Perfect egg. Bamboo shoots were not overpowering. Wonderful to consume wood ear mushrooms for a change. Everything tasted fabulous! Our server provided outstanding customer service, excellent recommendations, was patient, and attentive. Kinton Ramen is a wonderful fast food chain with consistent, standard, excellent tasting food. I love their Ramen, Gyoza and Chicken Karaage. Having been to this chain over ten times I can safely say that they never disappoint. They have good ambience, competent service, and excellent food. Dropped in to try the ramen... they had a nice opening special - get free gyoza and pop. We wanted to try their basic broth so we went with one pork original (salt based) and one spicy pork. The original was a bit bland and needed a bit more flavour. The spicy one was good! The gyoza was delicious! Crispy and definitely worth getting! read more

Nice brand new restaurant Kinton Ramen here at Don Mills. Nice choices of shopping in this plaza too? C&C Supermarket, Pho88, Oomomo, Swiss Chalet, and more. We were greeted upon entering the restaurant, shown the special grand opening special and we were able to order our items. Taste and servings the same as the other Kinton locations as expected. Hope this restaurant is able to gain enough patrons to stay afloat. Very competitive area that they are operating under. We will return Ordered the Pork Shoyu and the noodle style I picked was the thick noodles. The Ramen noodles was Al dente which was solid. Taste of the broth Smooth and not very salty. Went here a month ago and still keep thinking about it so here goes. The service was very friendly, however I didn't receive my dinner until after my partner had already finished their dinner. Their dish arrived super fast so I expected mine would not be too far along. I didn't say anything when receiving my dish so late. I know this can happen sometimes. I let this slide. The quality of the ramen was not as good as in the past. The new bowls are smaller, too. - understandable given the cost of things now. Normally if by chance I have to take it home you can tell the broth is bone broth as it is gelatinous when cold. The next day, my leftover ramen was all water. Disappointing considering the new size and price. I'm not sure if other Kinton Ramen restaurants are managed differently, so I'll give it another try, but will probably start enjoying Phö Metro more often if the quality has gone down. - More consistent and better quality even though the noodle soup is different, :/ read more

No frills ramen spot, with excellent service. Decided to stop by on a rainy day and it wasn't too busy. Was promptly seated and explained how the menu worked. I was in for a quick lunch so I only ordered a ramen, but their set menu seems like a good deal. The ramen itself was good, flavourful with seafood umami. Been here a few times now for lunch. Open space, with quick service. Haven't had issues with getting seated. Last couple times, I got the Chilled Tsukemen (cool ramen on the side to be dipped), which may be a Summer-only item. And if you show a Presto card, you get free gyoza. The tsukemen is quite tasty, though maybe a bit on the salty side. I wish they gave a bit more green onion/radish. Overall a nice quick lunch. read more

I came here on a weekday around 4 and it was dead when I walked in. They have a promo right now as they just opened which is order a ramen and get free gyoza and pop. I chose the original beef ramen and got the pork gyoza with coke. The flavour of the ramen is just ok and there was a good topping to noodle ratio. The broth was not hot enough and too peppery. On the opposite the noodles were very hot but flavourless (tasting water). The beef was good and tender. The picture of the pork bowl shows an egg but there is actually none in the pork shoyu. Disappointing. Read the small prints ! The seating is very uncomfortable: wood footstools, wood walls. Convenient location but food is not as good as other locations. Ramen didn't come piping hot and meat inside ramen is very skippy. Bathroom is bit dirty. I don't know in general why this chain is so popular because the sitting is uncomfortable and portion fairly small and plain in comparison. read more
