I can't hate. I feel people are too critical on the quality of their experience at McDonalds. I have to admit I played a trick on my co-workers one McRib season (yes, I consider it it's own season). I told them the epic tale of the ever elusive, ever exclusive, ever intrusive...Mc friggin RIB. How it breaks the mold of what you THINK YOU KNOW about Ronald McDonald, Ray Crock, and Dick & Mac McDonald's vision of what a burger joint menu should include. This smokey pressed pork patty is cooked to perfection. Im no barbecue pit master, but some have speculated that McD's uses a secret method of cooking pork ribs so tender for their sandwiches that you can actually eat the bones if the little racks of ribs!!! Others say its a formed pork abomination. But I digress....the meat of the sandwich is blanketed with sweet and spicy signature bbq sauce, topped with raw white onions and tangy pickles. Whew. Are we done yet? NOPE! It's all placed between a cornmeal dusted (because why not?) elongated grinder style bun. This miracle of culinary perfection is delivered to you in a fancy cardboard treasure chest, boxed up like a limited edition gift from the Gods. The restaurant itself was very clean and the manager working the counter noticed my excitement while I ordered 6 McRibs for myself and the rest of the office, and shared my enthusiasm. He hoped my coworkers were as enthusiastic about the sandwiches as I was! I arrived back at the office and doled out the goodies. I grabbed extra napkins because a good sandwich IS a messy sandwich, and handed them out as well. Everyone took a bite....I waited...and watched....and smiled....and waited. Even to the most seasoned McDonalder, the McRib is a new flavor profile and some would say a borderline "acquired taste". It's not for everybody. It was not for them. But this story DOES have a happy ending. This variable was calculated ahead of time and everyone willing volunteered to pay for their OWN lunch, so my sinister plan came to a close. Unbelievably terrible food and service. Ordered on the app. They screwed up half my order, omitted items, and when I showed them my order they blamed their computers. Refused to do anything about it until I insisted ... loudly. Then, the fries came and they were cold, white, and uncooked. Like ... it's Mickey D's. Not a lot to it. If you are in the area, take a 12 minute ride to the one in Madison, which is like the Ritz in comparison. This was dreadful. read more

I go through the drive thru for coffee only. The staff is very nice. I stopped going indoors for food several years ago because it lost its nostalgia; it feels so generic and not the McDonalds from the past. Way to institutional looking which is hideous! It is 6:01 I live down the street and there was no power outage and these people close early and they are open late and she is just putting a drawer in drive through and they are just setting up the coffee... nothing is done. This is ongoing and this place isn't managed properly. They have no sign up to explain anything or answer anyone on a headset.....it says 24 hours on Google also for hours. Me and my mom came here for lunch today and it was horrible! Absolutely do not recommend coming here it is beyond crazy how bad there customer service is. Are number was 167 on are receipt and people that had 190 were getting there food before us with the same amount of food or more. This location has slowly gone downhill. Limited staff, long waits. Up until this past week the double cheeseburger always hit the spot. This time I decided to order the quarter pounder. BIG mistake. What happened to this place? I placed a mobile order via the app, and parked in a numbered spot in the lot. After 15 minutes, I called the restaurant to ask where my order was. The woman told me, "they already brought your food out." I told her they did not, and I had been parked in my spot for 15 minutes. She asked me for my order number and what I ordered. I gave her the information, and then she told me, "they gave your order to the wrong car, I will have to re-make it," and she hung up. Five minutes later, a carrier came out and handed me a bag and a drink. It was not what I ordered, but I had run out of time for this fast food experience. I ate the food, which was luke warm, but I had to toss the Coke, as it was WARM and totally FLAT---so gross! This is the second such experience at this store in a month, and so I won't go back. Seven years ago I purchased a hamburger, put it in my pocket, forgot about it, and just found that burger in my old coat today. The burger did not decompose at all, keeping the same level of consistency that I would expect from this dominant restaurant chain. After consuming the burger (although cold and a little tough), I found that it tasted the same as a brand new burger from any of these establishments. I give McDonald's only two stars for this review based on the fact that the catsup turned brown over that time-frame. Fix the catsup problem and I will increase to 3 stars. read more

Be aware that this location near the shoreline charges $2.25 for a bottle water.I also cannot determine what I wanted to eat and the girl said just said that the glaze tenders. When I receive them they have a very large amount of glaze all over the tenders and it was pretty disgusting. This is my favorite local restaurant around. It's been a favorite for years. The water is great and free. They put mayonsse on 75% of the McChicken.. fantastic. Great parking, the atmosphere is fantastic. The service kept me on my toes, they made me feel like I should be there, that the moment was right. The cashier today must have thought it was funny they didint have the item(minute maid slushie) as she giggled as she told me the item was not available!
