Very disappointed. Stopped there tonight (3/6/2026 11:22pm) and couldn't get the new Big Arch burger. In fact, no burgers because they were cleaning the grill, only chicken products available. The food is really good on some days. Other days it could be a little bland or stale, also the service is bad, the manager is extremely rude to co workers. The ambience is nice it's cold inside there's sounds of machines in the background. read more

I'm glad they are still open during covid. And thankful to have choices on nights I don't cook. The review is more about the Mobile order Curbside more than anything else. I'm always happy with the preciseness and friendliness of this McDonald's. Although I feel like they need to start paying more attention to mobile ordering when servicing people in with curbside orders. I've been using the service on and off for almost 2 years now. I've never got my food fast. (Haha fast food-no pun intended) but literally. Not once. I've never had it brought out in the suggested "most" 5 minutes as is states. I just wish they would maybe pay more attention and than more people would utilize this service we have. Instead of not having repeated customers who do use this service since the wait time is horrible. Just a thought. read more

Mobile order was missing hash browns. I contacted them through the app which was used to make the purchase. They closed the complaint saying I didn't respond in 48 hours. It only took them two days to respond to me in the first place and it's not like I spend every waking moment watching my app for a response. AND they had ALL THE REQUESTED info through the app. So don't go here, 90% of the time your order will be screwed up. Don't use the app it's one of the most annoying apps out there and the customer service is total garbage. read more

I came thru drive thru and ordered a Big Mac on a regular bun. I even confirmed with the girl at drive thru I wanted everything else. Just on a regular bun. When I got home, the order was wrong. It had nothing besides meat, cheese and Mac sauce. When my girlfriend called to tell them it was wrong. We were told thats what I asked for and therefore thats what I got. When I said it was not she said the kitchen staff had a fit about it because of what I asked for. I was then called ignorant and refused a corrected sandwich. I was the. Called ignorant again. Good grief, man! I haven't gone to a McDonald's in YEARS, because frankly, I've boycotted them! Being hypocritical as it may, my hubby and I had a taste for a big breakfast. So he was nice enough to drive there, pick it up and bring it back home for us on a chilly Sunday morning. That big breakfast turned into a big pain in the ass disappointment when they forgot to include the damn maple syrup for the hotcakes!!! C'mon now. Really? So he had to shove it all back into the bag drive back up there and pick up 2 whole new ones. Mind you they just throw out the ones he brought back because that's fast food in America. So frigging wasteful. Yes, they made him 2 fresh new big breakfasts, but he wasn't comped in any way. Pretty much sorry 'bout your damn luck, son. Albeit the food was tasty, they cost around $7.00 nowadays. I should know better that I can get greater quality and value for breakfast at the local MA & PA diner. I am not a fast food person; however, my son and parents wanted McDonald's for lunch. Ordered in the drive thru and didn't get fries with the two meals that were ordered. Very rude! I ordered off the mobile app for take out, they closed their lobby at 7pm. (They're lazy af) I went to the door and they refused to bring my food to me. Told me to go in the app and request a refund. (Is not a option) even though they came to the door twice to tell me they wouldn't bring me my food!! I waited in the drive thru for 40 mins cause Saturday night. Then I called them once I got home, the manager said she would not disclose her name and then hung up on me!! Trash McDonald's and employees. Had a problem with them 5 days ago as well. read more

I don't know how, but everytime I go to this McDonalds they always seem to find a way to screw up the order.

This McDonald's is just like all the others. They have their kinks but then again who doesnt? The staff here have never been nasty or rude at least not to me. The workers are good. They can be slow during change over from breakfast to lunch but that's alright. Some customers were getting nasty to the staff about that today. They are clean all around and yes there are a lot of homeless that linger around here and Taco Bell across the street but keep in mind that the stop to go to Project Hope is at Lake County Jail in the evenings. So it makes sense that they would try to stay in the area. Not a bad area and Painesville is cleaning up nicely. My only advice is to keep up the good work and bring a couple more people in for the morning to lunch shift. That's all I have for you guys. read more

The food quality is the same as any other McDonalds (fair to lousy), but their pricing is absolutely illogical. I go to order a Sausage McMuffin with Egg and ask them to substitute scrambled egg for the round egg (this was for my wife, who is very particular). The substitution cost $1.00... which it has NEVER been ANY other McDonalds I have ever ordered it from - about 2 dozen. I asked the order-taker why, and she claimed the scrambled egg cost more - $2.15, while the round egg cost $1-something. Having a funeral to be at in a few hours, I grudgingly paid the extra money, but realized by the time I got to the pickup window that a Sausage McMuffin (no egg) costs $1.00 and to add a scrambled egg cost $2.15, so the whole thing should cost $3.15, not the $4.85 I was being charged! Still, time topped money, so I paid it and left. But wait, there's more - they didn't even get the order right!!! Being in a hurry, I got back to my wife only to have her open the bag and find a HAM McMuffin, not sausage. At this point, I was too pissed to care about the time, so I went back and asked for the manager. I explained the situation, and she replaced the incorrect sandwich, refunded the price difference (plus a little extra), and said she would talk to the owner about the pricing. So, kudos for her, but the rest of the staff are morons. read more
