Service is super fast, even in American standard. The store was very clean and we found seating for us immediately despite coming in during rush hour. This McDonald's is 3 mins away from L'arc de Triomphe which is very convenient for when you get hungry after climbing almost 300 steps! It's just very expensive for McDonald's standards. 5 euros for a mcchicken. (You get my point) But what can you expect when it's in a popular tourist area?

What's up: Before heading to the Eiffel Tower, we wanted to grab lunch at one of the nearby crepe shops. Unfortunately, the restaurant was being renovated at the time so we ended up at McDonald's. Environment: Busy! Either everyone has the crepe store renovation situation or people just wanted to eat some good old fashioned McDonald's. As soon as you walk in, you'll see several order kiosks on the left and the traditional order counter on the right. We ordered from the kiosk since we thought that would be the easiest thing to do; they had an English option. Our luck was so good that after we placed our order and wanted to pay, it gave us an error. It looked like our order was accepted but we got a shortened receipt, which we then figured out we had to go up to the counter and pay there. It was an extra step but we were able to manage. Finding a seat was another problem to tackle. Eventually, we did find one near the elevator. Looks like there was another level to the restaurant. What was ordered: We ordered the Gold Big Tasty Meal which came with a burger, chicken nuggets, potato wedges, and a soda. Trying some of the other new stuff, we got a P'tit Fondu, McFirst Poisson, and a Croque McDo. The Big Tasty and Chicken Nuggets were good but didn't feel very unique; they were typical of what we've had before. The Fondu, Poisson, and Croque were different and interesting! Potato Wedges were good too! Yay/Nay/Meh: Meh. The unique food choices were definitely the things that caught our attention. We tried them out and we enjoyed them. The ordering process was a bit cumbersome and getting a seat was a struggle. But other than that, the staff member who processed our order was helpful. Free WiFi and toilets (long line) were a plus. And of course, credit cards were accepted.

Saw this place on the way to the Eiffel Tower and entered for the free wi-fi. Then decided to supplement the measly cup of black coffee we had around the corner café just moments earlier--with the most expensive coffee on the menu--a Daim cappuccino. Foamy milk with bits of toffee candy--the drink warmed our bellies and hearts with its 1.90 EUR price tag (vs. the 2.70 EUR + tip in the café). Upstairs was nice and warm to sit and plan out our day's adventures, plus free bathroom downstairs. A great pit stop for tourists, plus a cool-looking self-service machine by the entrance.

MC: Can I have ketchup for my fries? McD: Ketchup??? *shocked* You meant pommes-frites sauce? MC: No, I have that. I want ketchup. I got my ketchup, but the girl was so surprised that I asked for it. Parisian McD is fancier than ours. I actually like that pommes-frites sauce AKA spiced mayonnaise. It's odd..because I don't like mayonnaise. The other fancy thing I noticed: the self service touch screen ordering system. Don't you hate it when you get the order wrong or when the cashier doesn't know how to calculate? You don't have to deal with those anymore. You only have yourself to blame since you will be the one doing the ordering and making the payment. Big Mac (7,30 €): kinda dry, compared to American Big Mac. McFirst Boeuf (3,00 €): fancier and tastier bun, compared to American bun. Pomma frite : tasted dry and kinda starchy. It had no flavor and very little salt, compared to American fries. Coke: served with no ice, Parisian coke has less carbonation. Kit Kat McFlurry (2,95 €): the McFlurry was topped with tiny Kit Kat balls. The cashier gave us the option to pick it up right away or later on. Security: No picture!!! MC: Okay *stop taking picture* *walked up to the 2nd stories* *took pictures of OUR food that WE paid* That was the first for me to see a security guard inside McDonald's. 3 stars!!

The reviews of this place looked promising so we decided to give it a try. First off, service was very friendly and accommodating. As soon as we walked up we were given our choice of the tables and were asked for our drink orders. Families, Parisians and tourists from all over were in the restaurant so this not a restaurant aiming to give you the "authentic" Paris experience you can get from back alley bars and cafes. Food was above avg for tourist area restaurants in Paris. My beef bourguinon was excellent though the beef was on the dry side, the stew of potatoes, onions and red wine made up for it. My wife got the pepperoni pizza, not much to say other than that it was pizza. Not great, not terrible but perfect if you have some picky eaters or kids in your group. Now me personally, my favorite places in France were the little cafes that changed their menu on the chalk board each day. The problem is that while a dream to me - if you are traveling with a group, you're unlikely to find food everyone will eat. This place serves a role and fills it well. If you're seeing the sights in Paris and need a reliable, hearty meal with plenty of menu items to choose from and need a drink to wash it down, you could certainly do much worse.

Walked in on a Saturday night at 9:30 (there was NO ONE else in the restaurant so we thought it was closed!) and the waiter working just looked at us and groaned (audible!!!). I was a little taken aback because they close at 11. We said we would sit outside and he brought us the menu. He then hovered behind our table as we spoke. we stated we would just be each having an order of the appetizer fries as were short on time and he straight up said "UM NO." and shook his head and asked us to leave. There's a reason this place was empty. So rude. I guess he only wanted us there if we were getting a burger? There are way better burger places around. Don't bother going here. Also--this place should not be considered fast food. You have to sit to eat here and can't order to go. Worst experience thus far in Paris.

We came here once and were so impressed by the burger that we came back again and all ordered the signature burger. I will say that it was not as good the second time because they swapped out the sesame brioche bun with more of a sesame hamburger bun, but the flavor of the meat was still good nevertheless. The people are also friendly and it's English-friendly, if that matters to you. Would definitely recommend giving Harper's a try!

A couple birthdays and they'd turn down the lights for a couple minutes to sing happy birthday in French. Idk if that's tradition HBD but def had everyone in the restaurant clapping along. Our server Aimen was phenomenal. He was very humble and simply said he worked there but I think he may be the owner or manager. He was so kind and friendly with us. It was a busy Friday night but he made sure we were well taken care of. He also spoke Spanish which was refreshing to hear!! Coming from the U.S. where good customer service is important, he's one of the nicest and friendliest restaurant people we have had the pleasure to meet in Paris. For food, my salmon with the sweet potato puree was amazing. The salmon per the menu is semi-cooked. I requested fully cooked and it was still delicious. The cheese fries were perfectly salted and good to share. The pork fried balls were also very good. They had an English menu. The service was just as good as the food, excellent.
