Holy crap the service was slow as heck.It took them 20 minutes to get filet o fish. But the cherry on top is that the fish was stone cold . It wasn't even close to warm.Good god I could have went to a lake and get a wet fish and that would be a much better meal.But I get it they have a lot of customers and they can't keep up sometimes but at least hire a teenager who can actually speak loud enough for someone to hear him because the kid that was talking in the mic. And hopefully this restaurant can get better. It isn't hopeless for this place to bounce back because right now ya'll are in a mud pit that you can get out of. I live in PV, and I avoid this McDonald's like the plague. Service is always slow, food is luke warm at best, usually more cold than warm. The burgers are put together very sloppily as well. This is the nastiest place in PV to eat. Stay away! read more

Meh. It's McDonald's not Chick Fila. So expectations are not high. But, the staff was kind and they all seemed to hustle. We arrived right as they switched from breakfast to lunch and that usually delays things a little. We waited about 10 minutes for our food. Then we had to spend another 35 minutes waiting for the semi truck to finish delivering the paper products and food items. I do not appreciate any place of business allowing their employees to smoke while on the job and during breaks. There are so many reasons why. This McDonald's does not live up to the restaurant chain's standards. The woman's bathroom had not been cleaned and had no toilet paper in at least one stall. The cheeseburger that I bought was cold and dry. One can only guess when it was cooked and how long it had been sitting under the heat lamps before purchased. The place was short-staffed. Although it appeared everyone was working hard to provide service, when there aren't enough people to adequately run the facility, quality suffers. My advice is to avoid this location. read more

The New Lobby opened this week. (01Mar2018) Same floor area, and lessened but not eliminated the bizarre former flow issues in layout. They just installed several Kiosks to order from...and these are seen as you walk in. The overall look is streamlined and brighter... But. The clunky foot stools are odd. Gone are the Aluminum Chairs that scraped the floor and screeched louder than the "Order 350" shouting. There seems to be a wierd Table tent system. .I ordered TO GO so I didn't see how this works. It was late and I just ordered 3-$1.00 Cheeseburgers...They were prompt enough freshly made. The still-dingey restroom for men had new auto flush urinals...The handicapped stall/room still looked tired and forlorn. The new hand dryer is L O U D ! Horrible horrible customer service. A bunch of crackheads who don't listen to you when you are placing your order. Constantly asking you to repeat the same thing up to four times. Can never get my children's order correct and most of the employees act like they have something better they could be doing. They also have extremely slow service even though they have ten to fifteen employees at any given time. I had to wait 40 minutes for only 3 burgers about 7 people behind me all gone. There's flies everywhere around the restaurant it's absolutely disgusting nothing is getting cleaned what so ever. Then It's been 45 minutes I asked for a refund and they made me wait again when I repeatedly asked for a refund the women gave me attitude and they did not give me the total right back. The cashier looked like he was high and I had to wIt for him to finish his conversation with his friend who didn't even work there before I could order. I mean it's McDonald's so you know the food. It's the same as it is in Japan, mostly, no complaints there. But the service here is horrible. This McDonald's sits in that unique sweet spot between here and Dallas where the little one has to stop. So we have had two on a couple occasions. Each time we think maybe last time we just hit them on a bad night. After our last stop we have decided that it's just a poorly run McDonald's. Simple drive through order and it took a month. Every single time I go to the Pauls Valley location, my order gets screwed up. Look, I get it. McDonald's is not health food. I don't need a lecture. Fact is, my kids love it. Just like our generation loved it when we were kids and so on and so forth. But, it's usually something simple like a forgotten burger, no BBQ with nuggets, a happy meal for my five year old with NO toy. Boy was that hard consoling a five year old who ripped open his happy meal box only to find no toy. He burst into tears and could only theorize that the minimum wage lackeys at the window hated him. The toy is the whole reason he likes McDonald's! Well, that and the playground. Lately, I've started noticing that the restaurant, even though it just had a major remodel, is filthy. Trash cans full, tables not wiped down, etc... I blame management. Think about this the next time you eat there. If the dining room looks like this, what is the condition of the kitchen and food prep area? Scary. read more
