Shared Space in a Truck Stop but surprisingly good Coming back from a visit to the kids in Marietta and wanting to get home, I'm getting hungry but don't want to spent a large amount of time eating. See the sign for an upcoming McDonald's and it's at a truckstop. No problem because I need to take a break anyway and this is a perfect stop. Walked in and place my order. From what I can see, most of their business is through the drive through but my order came out quickly. I did take it with me but the dining area was immaculate and I would have had no problem staying and dining in except I wanted to get back to Charlotte. Nice place and easily overlooked but still one of the better McDonalds out there. Not an epicurean choice but still a good choice read more

Very poor service, disrespectful, nasty employees, can't get an order right for ! Got employees hitting the fent lean in the parking lot.

I placed an order on the app and I was doubled charged. I reached out to customer service who said I needed to contact the store. I tried calling the store with no answer. I then went to the store in person and showed them the receipts and my bank statement where I was double charged the manager said there was nothing she could do and then I needed to leave the store. She yelled at me from the back of the kitchen and refused to come to the front to talk to me or offer any assistance other than to say she would be fired if she gave me my money back. terrible service never again. read more

Very slow service. Poor customer service skills. What else... oh yeah! No sense of urgency for the mobile orders. Also the order kiosks suck and don't even give you a receipt with an order number. I'm usually a pretty lenient guy but this place is poorly managed, both inside and out! read more

Right off 85 in the pilot gas truck stop I just went through the drive through The ordering was fast and polite Easy pay. Apple Pay if you want I was really pleased with my order It was fast , correct,and had the right utensils I was most happy with the quality. It was hot. And the buns were very fresh. Waited in drive tru for 45min before getting my food with only 5 car in the line food was cold once ig got it wouldn't recommend

Horrible!!! Walked up to the counter and waited as the manager and 2 other employees walked by (manager actually walked past me coming from the dining room). A girl walks up from behind me and calls one of the employees by name. They chit chat as her order is taken and then the employee walks off. The other employee asks if I had been helped and I asked if he was the manager, he said no and went and got her. She immediately started apologizing saying that they were so busy (I walked in, no one was in line, and stood and waited at the counter. No one was waiting on food. No one else was waiting to place an order). I said that apparently you guys aren't so busy that she can't take her friends order that walked up after me. She again was apologizing saying that they were busy and that people were sick. That's when I said, "if people are sick, I definitely don't want to eat here then." After reading the other reviews, I can tell this is a common occurrence. Idk if the owner knows, or just doesn't care. read more

I love the tea always drop in and grab a gallon for home.breakfast is good .at night they are slower.but I still go get my tea from there.

Very pleasant staff. The cashier came out to the self serve and helped me to navigate the menu. He also made sure our coffees were seasoned. We had the "Steak Big Breakfast & the Pancakes & Steak." The crew making the items are all smiling, working well together & very pleasant. One young lady came to our tables, as well as others; offered us a refresher on our coffees & took our trash away. She was smiling, soft spoken & very pleasant. She gave us a quizzical look, when we complimented her and the staff. It would be good, if more people would offer compliments, as well as negative comments. Overall, if you have time, this is a nice place to slow down & have an enjoyable breakfast in the morning. The place is clean & well kept up. The food is hot & well prepared. I was very much impressed with the service, as well as the attitudes of all the workers there. read more

Horrible service! Went to this McDonald's and the drive thru service was awful!! Not only did the lady taking our order speak absolutely rudely to us, she also didn't read our order back causing us to have to pay twice. They took my boyfriends hard and we sat there for 10 minutes waiting to get it handed back to us! When we get our food, it was freezing cold, like they had it sitting in the freezer! If you are looking for the actual definition of fast food, I do not recommend this Mcdonalds. read more

I have lived in piedmont for 27 years and almost EVERY single time I have been inside to order it has been an absolute circus. It's amazing it has been this bad for so long. The employees have to get tired of being cussed out on a regular basis. I have lost more money by receiving the wrong order at this McDonalds than I have on lotto tickets and beer In my life. Not sure how you go from charging $.34 for a senior coffee to over $.60 for same thing in just a matter of a couple months. And why do so many places just say "have a nice day" with no "thank you attached"? Pet peeve!! I'd rather be thanked for buying there than be told what to do!! read more

This scale does not go down low enough, I got the Yelp app to make my first review because this place is so bad at getting orders right, over the last two weeks I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried eating here about 5 times, and even when I used the app to specify exactly what I wanted, they still messed it up, I give up on eating here and I would recommend just getting food at the pilot connected to this McDonald's, at least then you would know you're getting what you paid for. -10/10 wouldn't send my worst enemy here read more

This is not a good McDonalds. I get its a McDonalds so you don't expect a lot but each time I have been here the buns are dry and crunchy and the burgers seem like they've been out too long. We wont be back. The customer service isn't always all that great either. The McDonalds on Hwy 153 could show them what good McDonald's food is and what good customer service is. read more

Came in at like 9:30am ordered two burritos no cheese in the drive thru. Of course there is cheese, so then I have to park come inside. They take um back and make new ones after a decent wait, so now they give me two with no cheese that are Ice cold. . They suck. Go somewhere else if you want your food in a reasonable amount of time and/or for it to be right. That's the brief review to save you time if you're in a rush. I work very close by and have tried to give them chance after chance to get things right. They can't even make a BUTTERED BISCUIT! Something as simple as spreading butter on a biscuit is too complicated. That should tell you something. It's the only fast (haha, fast!) food place that I have ever experienced a 20 minute wait for a single biscuit. And if they ask you to pull up, DON'T! You will be trapped there while they take their sweet time to accomplish a menial task. If they tell you it's going to be four more minutes, multiply that by at least 3. But that's just on a non- busy day. If there's a crowd, you're screwed. The only way you're going to get your food then, is if you walk inside and remind them that you've been waiting for it. read more

Living close, I get a chance to visit frequently. However, they have bumbled our orders, been rude, and flat out have no customer service skills that I will not be back. On one visit, I waited at the drive thru window for over 9 minutes. When I simply asked for an apple pie to compensate me for my time, the girl said she could not do that. I asked to speak with her manager while waiting for my order to be filled. The manager came to the window, I again put in my request and she also indicated that she could not give me a pie. I was upset for having waited so long and never received so much as "I'm sorry for your wait." Instead I got, "we can't do that." This past week, I had received my salad, but they did not have a Caesar dressing for my salad. I said, "Since you don't have that dressing, I'd like a 10 piece nugget instead." The manager scoffed and told the girl to switch out my order and the manager went to the back. When I got my nuggets, I was also due a $1 for the price difference in price. I told the girl I need a dollar for the price difference. She said, "ooh, you want your dollar?" I said Yes. She went and got the manager who simply glared at me without saying anything waiting for me to tell her what I wanted. A much longer story, but I'll cut it short. I got my dollar. This place leaves much to be desired. I blame management for selecting the wrong employees and for management themselves being derelict in their responsibilities and poor customer service. So if you order from here, you might get your order right without incident, but you might not. Just don't say I didn't warn you. read more

I can't even begin to explain my frustration with this McDs. Never in all of my life have a CONSISTENTLY been met with such negative service. From eye rolling, to shrugging shoulders when asking a question... and even speaking for me when I don't say "thanks" fast enough bc I was thrown my food out the window trying not to drop it..... I've had them video me because I confronted the rudeness and mock me. Recently (two days ago) my fiancé ordered something and it was completely wrong. He went back up there and asked for it to be corrected. One guy told him "man I'd just go bc they're going to call the cops..." confused my fiancé laughed and said call them I don't care but you're not taking my money and not giving me my food. So they corrected it. I've also seen employees in the restroom NOT wash their hands multiple times and return back to handling food and drinks etc. THIS MCDONALDS IS A JOKE BEYOND JOKES. Waited 20 minutes to get a McFlurry. No staff was watching the front or informing customers the ice cream machine was down. I was left unsatisfied without any compensation. I was supplied a refund, but without apology. After waiting the entire time the employee who was supposed to be assisting customers up front. Was aimlessly running from front to back finding something to clean rather than assisting the line of awaiting customers. You would think the new electronic ordering system would help speed up the process, however it only made it slower. read more

I visit this location very often due to the fact that I live so close to it. The staff are always pleasant. The food, well, is just what you would expect from McDonald's. The service is usually very slow inside, but the drive thru usually moves quickly. This location has messed up my order many times. This is a decent McDonald's location, but not the best. read more

They are slow and not to be mean but seem to be hard of hearing too. There is no speed to be found in either the ordering process or the service of the food.
