In fact when you walk in to look at the menu, their menu showed what items were vegetarian and I could determine what could be made vegan. My wife and I visited a few months back. We had ordered take-out sandwiches and were impressed by the look of the salad bar, so we returned to give it a try. First thing to know is the sup is sold separately for an additional cost. We were not impressed. Our major issue was cleanliness. Most tables had not been bussed and the salad bar was out of a few dishes. Don't use the bathroom if you don't absolutely need to. It was not clean. We have been dining at this Jason's Deli location for a long time. My son loves the kids pizza. I ordered a half salad/half chicken ranchero wrap and my husband got a reuben. Amber was so nice, professional and accommodating. My son (6 yrs) was thankful for her kindness helping him with the sides for his meal and with the ice cream machine. She said it was good but ask for condiments like mustard and mayonnaise which when she asked for them after she ate half they were happy to supply. The only reason it got 4 stars was I saw one gal sweeping the floor next to the salad bar (whilst holding a broom and dustpan) use ungloved hands and adjust something on the salad bar using one of the serving tongs. I generally enjoy Jason's. I appreciate the variety of organic food. However, my family ordered dinner through Door Dash tonight. The Door Dash driver had to wait 30 minutes for the order, and she was told they serve in-house patrons first. Clearly Jason's has given no thought to the fact that the driver (who needs tips) was being prevented from picking up other orders and receiving additional tips. Also, we pay dearly for Door Dash service, and we, at home, were just as hungry as the people in the actual restaurant. When we finally received our food, the club sandwich was dry and the baked potato was awful. The cheese sauce was congealed and the sour cream was dry. I would avoid ordering a baked potato to go. I tried calling the restaurant twice to talk to a manager, and twice I was placed on extended hold and had to hang up both times without talking to anyone. I will continue going to Jason's restaurant, but I will never order anything from there through Door Dash again. read more

Ample food, greens, dressings, boiled eggs, nuts, fruits, peppers of all types, mini muffins, toasted seasoned breads, crackers, and several different kinds of meats for the salad. Great variety, as well as ice cream. Can't go wrong with that choice. They have every kind of sandwich imaginable and will prepare your favorite sandwich. Multitude beverage choices also. It's a 1/2 pound of pit-smoked beef brisket, cheddar, red onions and barbecue sauce, toasted on New Orleans French bread. It is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend it! To start, the restaurant had a very foul odor when we walked in. The tables were dirty and sticky and the booth bench was loose and falling apart. Always great food here. We tend to order the salad bar. Our daughter got a turkey sandwich on croissant and it was VERY plentiful with meat. The water, unfortunately being in Spartanburg, was NASTY. We have been frequent customers of Jason's Deli for years. Even during Covid, when they made the salads for you they were wonderful. But lately we have been so disappointed and don't plan on going back. 2 weeks ago we went and they were out of many things. We figured that was a one time thing and went again last night. I've been a Jason's Deli fan for 15 years now and have visited roughly 50 of their locations. This one seemed dark, uninviting and bland. Unfortunately, the salad bar wasn't restocked. Our meals came out wrong and the food was just average. These aren't traditional Jason's Deli traits. Hopefully, we visited on a poor day for the staff. And, even on a bad day Jason's blows away Subway and other sandwich shops. Meanwhile, even at it's poorest, Jason's remains a great place for for the family to grab dinner or a quick lunch. Their salad bar (when kept stocked) is a go-to for most patrons and few could complain about the quality and portions provided with the soup and sandwiches. Heck, the last time we had an unfortunate experience there wasn't a manager on the premises. We have noticed a significant decline in quality, atmosphere and attitude in recent months. When first entering Jason's Deli I noticed the wonderful layout and amazing atmosphere. The workers are fairly nice and overall good serves. The only bad thing I would say about this restaurant is the workers do have a bit of a staring problem. I received a few looks here and there. This is my third time eating lunch at Jason's, all in different southern states. If your not exactly sure what your craving for lunch they have almost everything here. Full service catering, to go and eat in dining with a nice all u can eat salad bar. On this visit I scarfed down the smoked jack panini. Turkey, pepper Jack, guacamole, bacon, Roma tomatoes and Russian dressing on an olive oil toasted panini. I really like the fact that your food is brought to you at the table of your choosing.
